That’s right folks, you heard it here. The School RPG’s very own “The Quill” is going to be making a comeback after a 3 term hiatus and we NEED YOU to help make this happen!
What is “The Quill”?
“The Quill” is the School RPG’s very own newspaper. It contains anything and everything about current student & school issues, as well as student spotlights, sports updates, and fun & games.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for aspiring journalists (writers) and photographers (graphic designers) of any experience level, from novice to advanced, who wish or dream to shed some light on their beloved school. Please, don’t be afraid, we have LOTS of spaces to fill!
Perks?
On top of planning in our own cozy little forum, “The Quill” will also be incorporated into the School RP, IC wise. That’s right; your very own characters will be a part of this team and will be able to role play taking photos, conducting interviews, or attending meetings right in the school!
“WOOO. How do I apply?”
In order to apply for a position, you must fill out the applications below (according to whichever position you wish to be in) and send them to either Izzy (SlytherinSistah) or Tailz (Tailzinator) by SUNDAY, MARCH 14TH BY 11:59 EST. You MAY apply for both positions, but do keep in mind that you can only be selected for ONE. With that said, here are the applications:

1. Approximately how long have you been a part of the School RPG?
2. School RPG characters name, age, year, and a brief background of your character? (Approximately 50 words)
3. A brief reason why you wish to be a part of "The Quill" team?
4. Do you hold any other positions/responsibility on Snitchseeker.com?
5. How much time are you able to allot for working on "The Quill"? (Approximately per day)
6. Please provide an example of your journalistic ability. Keep it short and cute, but enough for us to gather a good vibe about you. 100-200 words. A mock news article is fine or excerpts from other works you may have done.
Graphic Artists (please send your applications to Tailzinator):
1. Approximately how long have you been a part of the School RPG?
2. School RPG characters name, age, year, and a brief background of your character? (Approximately 50 words)
3. A brief reason why you wish to be a part of "The Quill" team?
4. Do you hold any other positions/responsibility on Snitchseeker.com?
5. How much time are you able to allot for working on "The Quill"? (Approximately per day)
6. Approximately, how long have you been working/designing with graphics? Which graphics software do you use?
7. Please provide a minimum of three examples of your work. Make sure to vary the types! (e.g. avatars, signatures, banners, wallpapers, etc.)

Nope! Your new character can resume a position on the quill staff, same as your graduated character. Although a new angle might be needed as it is a new character and probably with differing viewpoints

Jess pretty much covered it all. If it really comes down to it, we can even consider shuffling people about in order to place them in an area that better suits their new characters' personality. : )

Heeehee! If this happens to anyone else, or if you know you made a large error on your submission, just slip a PM to me or Tailz with the corrected information. I think we know most of your characters, but in case we don't or you're not sure you can PM us.
Arrgghhh I would so love to apply for this! Although I'll be away for a week in May anyway, so that wouldn't be good....
I am useless at putting together article type things, as my GCSE coursework shows....and my graphics are nowhere near good enough. Soooo, yeah.
