Hello Fellow SnitchSeekers!
Some of you may have been experiencing some technical difficulties with your accounts over the past several days. Some of these issues may include the disappearance of user albums, Visitor Message (VM) conversation links gone wonky, and other account-related "weirdness". Other issues may have also come up with various links around the site.
The SnitchSeeker staff is aware of the problems and we suspect the problems are due to some upgrades and changes the server folks made in an attempt to improve site performance. We are working with our server host to fix these issues and hopefully we'll be able to have them all resolved within the next couple days. In the meantime, some members have found that clearing their browser cache helps to resolve some of the issues (but not all members nor all problems get cured).
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and will keep you updated on how the fix is going.

Just edited in a new tip for those experiencing trouble getting to user albums. If the album is for someone with special characters in their name, using tip #2 may solve the problem. Unfortunately, this is only one of three possible problems (that I'm currently aware of) we're having with user albums at this time and the trick doesn't work for all of them. So, there still may be some albums that you cannot access. I've got my thinking cap on and if I can come up with a solution or work-around before the server peeps get this stuff fixed I'll let you guys know. | |

Tip #2 doesn't work for me, as even though I have a special character in my name, there's no extra dash in my conversation URLs. I guess that could kind of be considered a good thing, but it still means they don't work, so maybe not...but that's not what I'm here to post about 
I did find another kind of "work around" for the VM problem. I'm not sure whether it would work in browsers besides IE (I only use IE so my knowledge of others is minimal to none ) but if you can open tabs in your browser it can work. You'll need to open two of them for SS. In one you should have your profile up on the VM page, and in the other you should go to the profile of the person you want to talk to. This way, you can reply to their VM and still have their previous message to you as a reference so you can see how to answer them even without the conversation link.
You could also probably just do this in one tab and just reply on that person's profile without a second tab open onto your profile, but it depends on how great your memory is and whether you prefer to see their previous message to you or not.
Just a thought. And of course thanks again to all of you working to fix the problem *gives you all hugs*
