SnitchSeeker is happy to announce that we will be switching servers. Because of the switch we will have some scheduled downtime beginning next Sunday, January 27th. I do not know the exact time, yet. So, if you log in and the site seems to have disappeared: DON'T PANIC!!

We hope to have the site back online within 24 hours. However, sometimes unexpected things happen so it's possible the downtime could go on longer. I will keep you posted as much as I am able to, here at
SnitchSeeker (when the site isn't completely gone) and over on our LiveJournal Community.
To access the SnitchSeeker LiveJournal community go here:

Make sure to bookmark this link or join the community if you want to get updates after the site goes down because once the site is down you will not be able to access this news article.
I will post an update when I have more information or just to remind you once again of the scheduled downtime.
Thank you guys so much for your patience!
Update by Dumbledore:
For those of you who wonder, our new server will have TWICE todays RAM (4 Gb instead of 2 Gb), a faster CPU processor (2 dual-core 3 Ghz processors instead of 2 single-core 2.4 Ghz), and a Linux core (instead of Windows, which we use today). So this will mean MUCH faster page-loads and less database and server timeouts. Yay!! UPDATE
The move is on! Servers are switched and nameservers (DNS) have been changed and should now point to the new server. For some this may take 24-48 hours but ALL should be seeing the new server (and its awesome SPEED) by Tuesday.
The new server is using the Deathly Hallows (brown and orange) top image, while the old is using the Sorting (black) top image. CTRL+F5 will clear out cache for this page so you can see which server you are on.
If you have any questions, ask them in the Prefect's office or in this thread.
Special thanks to Kevin and Kris for all their hard work getting this done! This is going to be a HUGE improvement for performance and page load.
We are all very excited!
