Due to an unknown glitch in the server transfer some members may not be able to access the site. We are aware of the problem and are working to fix it. You don't need to contact any members of staff and I will post again when we know more or the server transfer is complete. UPDATE: We have isolated the problem and taken steps to fix it. Everyone should be able to access the site now. Thank you, once again, for your patience.  | |

We can't figure out why some people are in limbo because either your ISP is still pointed at the old server or it's pointed at the new but, they are. ISPs update the DNS registry at different times (some several times a day, some every 24 hours, some every 72 hours) so, different people will be accessing the site from the old versus new server (all posts and whatnot are stored on the new server so, while this can impact performance if you're accessing via the old IP, nothing gets lost and you're the looking at the same SS as everyone else). Hopefully the problem will be resolved within the next 24 hours since it's been nearly 72 hours since we submitted the DNS change. So, tell your friends to keep checking back every hour or so and maybe restart their modems/routers. Sometimes just reconnecting to the net will help.

Yaaaay it's back.
It wasn't working for a while for me last night or earlier today...and I totally thought it was my firewall or something with Internet Explorer...ugh.  At least now it works on Firefox.
And thanks for the update on LJ cuz it was reassuring to I know I wasn't the only one in the dark. That just proves what an addiction I have here.
