Thank you so much for your patience during the upgrade. It took longer than anticipated but, we’ve finally got it up and running. There may still be some bugs but, we’ll be working those kinks out over time. In the meantime, have fun checking out the new features.
SnitchSeeker has a slightly new feel to it since upgrading from vBulletin 3.0 to 3.6. While most of the features are ‘behind the scenes,’ there are a lot of features which will greatly benefit our members. Want to hear more?
We’ve launched a brand new
gallery which our Gallery Admin will explain in more detail in a future article. We’ve already got it stuffed with images and all sorts of new stuff and we’ll be adding to it as time goes on so, be sure to check it out.
We also have a new, working,
Warning System so you don’t have to wonder whether or not you have any warnings or how close you are to reaching the limit. Make sure you check out
the thread for more information.
Those are two of the most major improvements but, there are a ton of little things that will make all our lives easier, such as being able to rate thread without the page reloading, multi-quote which allows you to select multiple posts to quote in a reply, quote tags which link back to the original post, links for unsubscribing to threads in subscription emails, and some other bells and whistles you might want to check out
here, though there’s a fair bit of technical jargon as well as features which only affect the site staff.
We’ve created a couple threads in the
Prefect’s Office to answer any
questions you might have about the new upgrade, for
bug reporting, and to go into more detail about the
new warning system.
Many thanks again to KevinG, Servaas, and Dumbledore for all their hard work and the members for their patience during this transition.
EDIT: Please note that we are aware of the signature issue and are woring to find a way to allow our current signature rules on this board. However, there may have to be some changes made and I really appreciate your patience and understanding with missing, warped, or just plain funky siggies while we mess around with things. I'll be posting another update once we know more.
