Hey fellow SSers!
Have you ever been annoyed by the sheer number of email chain letters that clog up your inbox all the time? Or maybe you like those kinds of things. However, please refrain from doing this via PM here. I have gotten several complaints from people receiving these 'send this to five people' type PMs from members. Let's try to keep our PM boxes SPAM free.
Thanks! Note: If you want to send stuff around to your close SS buddies that's fine. Just don't start sending things to people you either don't know at all or aren't close friends with unless it is part of an admin-approved game.

I've never gotten these, but I have gotten stalker PM's  Which I don't like. It's rude and annoying and slightly creepy  But yes, those SPAM PM's never work if they say that something special will happen if you send it to such and such people...so just don't do it, mkay?  | |

However, you can not get a virus from a private message here at SnitchSeeker unless you click on a link to an offsite location, so don't worry about just opening and reading your private messages, folks!

There is little more in this world that annoys me more than chain letters. when i was a kid they were exciting, but back then, it used to be a lot more whimsical, you sent chainletters on with a message to the next person, and it got sent around and around and eventually someone seven time zones away would read your joke or message a long with about 20 others. It's not like that anymore. the luck angle is obnoxious, to say the least. and email chains have gotten dangerous. PM chains are just annoying. i mean, general mail? that was cool once upon a time, but isn't the PM system exactly what it says, "private?" I don't want anyone clogging up MY PM mailbox with chains to forward on, thank you very much. | |

The PM spams that I have been getting really annoy me, because it wastes my time on SS to just get rid of them all and I also get important PMs that have to come first. So I'd really appreciate it if I didn't get any PM spam. Thank you.

I don't mind chain-mail, as long as it's from my friends. If it's from my friend to people I don't know, but including me, it really bugs me because then those people get to know who I am/e-mail address; and though I don't find that an issue on SS, it still bugs me if they reply back, but now think they can just talk to me like SNAP. We're friends or something. I'm not like that. My friendships and conversations take time. I always appreciate that.
