Language Mods Needed

The Department of International Co-operation is looking for a couple of active members to become Language Moderators.

Those who apply must be fluent in the language and must be active on SnitchSeeker. An understanding of the SnitchSeeker Rules is required. All candidates will be considered, but as not all language forums are hiring, only a certain number can be accepted. I will keep applications on file for future hirings.

Those wanting to apply should PM me, Droo. Please state which language role you are applying for and what would you do to get more activity in the forum - https://goodmagic.ru/casinosvyvodom/.

If you aren't fluent in another language, or do not want to moderate a forum... why not head over to the Department anyway! Games and Classes are always open to members.

Good luck to everybody! I would love to help with the need of mods, but sadly I only speak English >_< Ahh well, Spanish starts soon!

Buggy-Boo 06-26-2011 11:53 PM

I'm debating if I'm fluent enough in Spanish to apply!!! I mean, I'm pretty good with it...

All of you wishing you were more fluent should stop by the forums and try out some of the lessons there and practice! You can't learn unless you try:D we have Pikachu teaching Japanese in the Japanese forum:whistle:

How fluent is fluent? 'Cos I've got a pretty strong background in my language when it comes to reading it and somewhat in writing it; however, because I don't have the key board to type it with our letters, I always spell out the words with the English alphabet. [:/] Ah well, good luck to those that apply. I can't wait to see what other cultures we get to blend with in the forums! :)

Samia 06-27-2011 02:46 AM

GOOOD LUCK ALL WHO APPLY :glomp:

Can't wait to welcome new people to the family <3

Spelling out words with the English aplhabet is fine! In fact, it's done in several of the language forums. If you can read and converse in a language, consider yourself fluent in it. ^_^

Good luck to all the applicants! (:

Wow that's great! Good luck to everyone who applies. I was wondering though— as I'm still uncertain about this— does this only apply for language forums which are already present? Can I make a new forum if I know another language fluently which is not already listed? I'd love to.

Yes, you can have your own forum if you have ten willing members to set it up with. (Not necessarily the speakers of the language but members who are willing to have it.) :)

Yes, just PM Droo and ask her what she requires to add a new forum. We have done that in past and always welcome new languages as long as enough interested in is shown.

Good luck to those applying! Language Mod was actually my first job on SS! And now it's the only one again. hehe

Wood'sLittleFlower 06-27-2011 09:09 PM

See, now I'm starting to doubt myself. I can work my way through long conversations and the such. And I read Harry Potter in German and stuff but I'm still unsure if I'm fluent.
