Happy Birthday, July Members!
Having a good July, Snitchseekers? Hope everyone's staying cool and having fun in the sun! For many of us on-site, July brings with it celebration. To start off the month,
July 1 is
Canada Day ! On Canada Day, Canadians celebrate the day the British North America Act created the Canadian federal government. Right around the corner from that you'll find
July 4 , which is
Independence Day in the United States; a day of fun, food, fireworks, and a celebration of, well, independence! This month is peppered with important landmarks in history, including
Bastille Day (France,
July 14 ), but there's also quite a few silly days such as Stick Your Tongue Out Day (July 19) and National Junk Food Day (July 21). So make sure to celebrate, stick your tongue out, appreciate a cow, and kick back to enjoy some potato chips this month!
Also worthy of your appreciation this month are the many, many birthdays! Make sure to wish all of our July Babies a very happy one, and while you're at it, celebrate a little for our ever beloved Harry Potter & the amazing J.K. Rowling on
July 31 !
On
July 7 , our resident Language Support Witch
Cristygen celebrated her 27th birthday! As well as being the head of the Language Forums, Cristy is also the head of the Weasley's Wizard Wheezes forum, as well as a mod for Platform 9 3/4
and a Spanish mod.

Immediately after that, on
July 8 , the lovely
Golden Monkey also celebrated her 27th! Ari is the Head Auror for the FanFiction section of our site, as well as a Gallery Mod, a shopkeeper, and an active officer in the fan clubs.

Finishing off our hat trick of birthdays in a row is

July 9 ! Sabs is our Head Auror over in Knockturn Alley as well as a Diagon Alley Shopkeeper in the RPG.
Happy Birthday Sabs! July 19 finds another mod blowing out birthday candles as
Slytherin Fox celebrates her birthday! Linda is a moderator in the Fan Clubs as well as in Knockturn Alley, and she is also a Diagon Alley Shopkeeper.

July 25 , the Lovely Lady
Liisa finds herself digging into her birthday cake as well! Lisa fills the position of Care of Magical Creatures Professor in the School RPG, as well as being Gryffindor's Head of House.
Happy Birthday, Lisa! July 30 finds us with yet another mod birthday! This time we're breaking out the streamers for
BanaBatGirl ! Roro is one of our excellent WWW Moderators.

Last but certainly not least,
July 31 has us wrapping presents for
katiebell ! Laurie is our News Admin, as well as a Moderator in both Platform 9 3/4 and WWW. She's also one of those lucky enough to celebrate the same birthday as J.K. Rowling!
