Hey all you SnitchSeekers! Wanting badly to talk about
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows? Well, as you may have heard, we've put in a spoiler ban so everyone who has
not finished the novel can have a chance to read it without having it ruined for them. Spoiler ban means that you are NOT allowed to discuss Deathly Hallows, talk about Deathly Hallows, wear spoilery Deathly Hallows graphics, or anything else that could potentially spoil the book for another member (or mod for that matter!).
We have ONE PLACE, and ONE PLACE ONLY where you can go to gush over everything in the novel: SnitchSeeker now has a Spoiler Forum! In this forum, you can talk almost anything and everything
Deathly Hallows related. So, if you've finished the book and you're ready to chat, just reveal the link and the password below! I wouldn't go in there if you haven't read, though. You have been warned.
Just so you know, once you put the password in once, you won't need to again - it's just a one time thing! (Note: If you log out or clear cookies, you will need to reenter the password). Please remember that the
spoiler ban will last for a few weeks at the
very least. We want to give everyone the opportunity to read first. Some people want to savor the last book, and we're trying our best to give everyone that opportunity.

We're sure you've noticed that several forums have been shut down.

Flourish & Blotts (Books)
The Three Broomsticks (Fan Clubs)
Grimmauld (FanFic's and all of it's sub forums)
Diagon Alley (General HP discussions)
These forums are closed in order to hopefully cut down on spoilers. We'll open them back up when the mods have all had a chance to read and when we feel the time is right. We would expect most to open with the next two weeks.
In addition to the above forums being temporarily closed, members may experience a delay in thread approval. The mods and admins are avoiding the moderation queue until such a time as they have finished reading. This is to ensure that they don't get spoiled by people submitting spoilery new threads. We don't think the dely will be more than a few days but, please be patient with us.
Snitchseeker has also turned off registration. We're sorry to have to do it, but we feel that it will
really cut back on people joining just to post spoilers. We will post another news story once registrations may resume, probably in about one week.
