Welcome all to SnitchSeeker's Harry Potter 2010 calendar contest, courtesy of Andrews McMeel Publishing!
This particular contest will be a Harry Potter quiz, where members have to answer a series of questions about the books in order to be eligible to win the prizes, which are as follows: 
Harry Potter 2010 Day-to-Day calendar
Harry Potter 2010 wall calendar
Harry Potter 2010 Desk calendar
Only SnitchSeeker members (the registration link can be found here) in the United States will be eligible to participate in the contest. The contest will start on from Friday, November 6, and end Sunday, November 22 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
The quiz questions can be found here, where you must comment with your answers (please put them in the order in which they were asked). The comments will be moderated so no one will see the responses save the SnitchSeeker staff.
We ask that you submit your entry ONCE; anyone who resubmits their questions will be disqualified, so we would advise you to type them out before updating them to the post.
If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask them here. Please do NOT post the questions or answers of the quiz here.
Have fun, and we can't wait to see the results!

Good luck to those in the United States. I have to say it's a bit unfair though as they can enter everything yet us people that live in any other country, excluding America and normally the UK, can never seem to enter any of these competitions  .

Whenever there are restrictions based on location, this is because of outside forces and is completely and utterly out of our control. Whenever we can, we try to subsidise costs to make competitions international, but as we all use money from our own pockets to do so, this is not always possible. As I'm sure you can appreciate.

Well, you could launch a contest for everyone except US citizens in compensation for those US only contests from time to time. Or so?

The winner will be notified by Private Message, and asked for a postage address, and the prize is sent to that address.
And yes, there will be several winners, at least one for each calendar. Quote:

As Emma previously said, shipping costs and things of that nature will always affect a few competitions, but we try our hardest not to let this have a significant effect... and so, on that note, if we're able to ship prizes worldwide, we wouldn't intentionally exclude a large number of members.
