Kevin smiled and said "Nice to meet you Emily i am in my third year"

Nikki shook her head laughing. "You mean you've never heard that rhyme?" She asked looking at him. "Never heard that other one...uh...." Come on Nikki think! What was that other little rhyme that her mother used to say. "Lyer, lyer, pants on fire." She said.

What did she wanna do? She certainly didn't want to go to bed. "Uh...I don't know, but if your tired you can go up to bed if you want." Nikki suggested.

Not letting Shana's little comment bother her, Nikki just sat there, watching Blake and Shana...flirt. Blake didn't even seem to care that Shana was calling her a witch. Looking at Shana's hair, Nikki tilted her head to the side and asked, "Where did you get your last haircut, the pet shop?" Snicker...but it honestly did look like she had gotten a hair cut at pet shop, all choppy like that. People Nikki hated never got her upset, not even "piccolo troll malvagio dai capelli rossi".



Look at her snuggling with Blake like that...it just made Nikki so mad. But why? Nikki didn't have a crush on Blake...did she? Well maybe she did...he was cute and funny at times. Stop it Nikki! You don't like Blake, you don't...he's just a...a friend...right? Smileydoodle? What the heck? Shana obviously had no idea what a snickerdoodle was...but then again most people didn't....weren't they a type of cookie?

She leaned forward, looking at him rather interested. After so many years working on the potion, she was hoping she'd finally gotten it right. "Well, how do you feel? Better? Not sleepy? Excited? Anything?"

Right. It was time to spot playing the little miss goodie little thirdie And stand up to the Blonde headed-air head-mini Brody-evil witch-wart on a big monkey but. "You wanna try sayin' that again with my fist in your mouth ?" She said frowning at her."Yeah thats what I thought." She said without giving Nikki chance to answer.

She noticed the look on Nikki's face as Blake paid more attention to her over Nikki."Oh you jealous, Your wanna-be boyfriend paying more attention to someone else,eh ? she smirked.

That was it. Helena had just met Shana and she'd only just gotten on good terms with Nikki, but this was getting a bit ridiculous. How about both of you, she began, her eyes lingering a bit longer on Shana, start acting your age and quit fighting over who's getting more attention, hmmm? Her voice was a bit more menacing than usual and a bit louder than usual to make her point known. It was with a little effort that Lena didn't point out that, with the possible exception of Nikki, Blake really wasn't interested in either of them - he had just said that he wouldn't be adoring anyone else, but she didn't want to bring that up again. Of course, this wasn't exactly keeping Blake's mind-frame that Lena was sweet and innocent, now was it? But Nikki was her friend.

Errr, everything was happening so quickly, it was getting hard for his brain to process. Was Shana trying to...use his trick on him? "Yeah..yeah..right..no need to be so loud." Blake pulled her towards him and covered Shana's mouth with his hand. Even though she was trying to embarrass him in front of Nikki and Helena, he leaned forward and kissed her on the cheek when she called him a Smileydoodle. She can be so cute at times.

Aww he could easily read what was going through Helena's mind. He wasn't flirting with her, they always behaved like this around each other which was something Blake adored. Blake smiled shyly when Helena offered him to walk with her but it was true, he was..uh..pretty busy...with girls. Sighing deeply, Blake pursed his lips and said, "I'll love to...but I guess you can see..I've some unfinished business to attend." Flailing his arms in exasperation, Blake stood between Shana and Nikki, who were right at each other's throat. "Okaaay!! Break it up you two. Enough with the cat-fights! " It used to be cute but not anymore, they must stop!

Frowning, Blake gestured both of them to sit on the chairs and folded his arms across his chest, "I and Helena will help to work things out between you two. I hate to see both of you fight and it hurts me the most because I can't abandon either of you." They will find a solution tonight even if it meant staying up till dawn, "Helena are you ready?" Blake grinned, rubbing his hands together.

"You and Helena can do whatever you want, But Im refusing to talk to her. No matter what you say or do. Try me." she shook her head. Uh-oh. Probably not the best idea to give the dude every oppitunity to do whatever he wants when he knows all your secrets.

She eye'd Helena."You expect me to act my age when She just asked if I got my hair cut in a pet shop ?!"

Helena sighed and walked back over to where Blake was, standing beside him with a grimace. That was a hard one to keep on her face though - especially because he was terribly cute even when he was trying to be mad. She nodded at his words, only then looking back at him and having to chuckle at his grin.

Helena's eyes flashed back over to Shana before the former had the chance to actually verbally answer Blake. No, I expect you to act your age simply because the immaturities are getting ridiculous, she said; and though her voice was quiet, one couldn't say that Lena's words weren't just as threatening as they were annoyed - the fact that she was at least two years older than each of them was coming out.

Shana frowned at Helena. And she was starting to think she was a nice person. Pfffffft. "Weell Im immature get used to it."

Nikki stared at Shana for a second and then burst out laughing. Did Shana really think Nikki was scared of her? Yeah right. Nikki was so not afraid of a little temperamental red head. "I'm not scared of you Shana, stop trying to act all violent." She said. "And might I warn you, I just got back from a quidditch match." Nikki added, pointing to the beaters bat that she had abandoned on the chair. She smirked lightly. "I don't care who Blake pays more attention to. I was simply looking at how stupid you look trying to act all cute."

Nikki looked at Helena and rolled her eyes. But she had to agree, the two of them were acting immature, but Shana was acting WAY more immature than Nikki, who was acting on slightly immature. "Fine, I'm sick of fighting with it." She said referring to Shana. Smirk.

Sighing Nikki stood up and walked over to her old chair, where her beaters bat lay. Picking in up (with a sudden urge to run over to Shana and whack her in the head with it) she sat down, placing it reluctantly on her lap. Crossing her arms across her chest and sighing rather loudly, Nikki waited for Blake and Helena to start trying to 'solve the problem'. But Nikki was not going to talk, no siry!

"I'm not talking to that thing either. Do what you want, nothings gonna solve this problem." Nikki said. She smirked as Shana complained about what Nikki had said about her haircut. "It only hurts, cause its true." She mumbled, smirking even more. The urge to grab her bat and hit Shana was increasing, but Nikki remained calm, breathing in and out.

Helena rose her eyebrows at this, but she was far too level-headed to sink down to Shana's level. I don't think I will be, actually, she said in a rather bored voice before giving Blake a 'this is why I don't hang out with third years' look.

Helena looked helplessly at Blake; she grimaced. On one hand, she really didn't want to be dealing with two stubborn girls who were obviously sworn enemies for next to no reason, but on the other.... she and Blake had only just made things alright between them, so if he was going to try to sort these to out - so was she.

Shana frowned directly in Nikki's direction."Just because your a beater doesn't mean your the only one who knows how to use that bat." She said her eyes narrowing at the bat. Meh. "Oh and go for it, I don't care hit me oer the head with a bat then you can be the one to explain to the Nurse why im lying unconsious on the floor with blood dripping from my head, can't you ?" She smirked."Trying to act cute ? I was not trying to act cute!" or mabye she was just a bit."It doesn't hurt I was just making a point that I wasn't the one who started it. And who did your hair a elephant with a hair brush ?"

Nikki rolled her eyes, clearly unimpressed by Shana's comebacks. Who cared what the Nurse said to her, as long as Nikki got to whack Shana in the head, nothing else mattered. Besides, Nikki could just say that Shana had been helping Nikki practice for qudditch and had accidently been hit in the head.

Turning her head towards Shana after the comment about her hair, Nikki just smirked and said, "At least I didn't get a haircut at a petshop." She turned away again, snickering quietly. Hahahaha...

Marilyn entered the common room feeling incredibly light. She'd, quiet surprisingly, had a blast with Carter this afternoon doing their homework together. And the plan...Oh, she couldn't even think about it without blushing. After tonight she would no longer be single. She hoped this didn't backfire...and by backfire, she hoped no real feelings got involved. Why was she so worried about it in the first place? He didn't see her that way.

Instead of going to her room immediately, she pounced on the leather couch. She couldn't stop smiling. It was going to be...interesting. Yes, interesting, indeed.

This was getting out of hand! What can't girls be like boys? They barely fight and on the other hand, girls need an excuse to rips each other heads. Rubbing his forehead rather violently, Blake frowned and looked at Helena. He moved a bit closer to her and whispered, "What could be the real reason of their brawling? It seems to be the work of a big green monster to me." Jealousy to be more precise. But why in the world would they be jealous of each other? Maybe it's the hair? Look how they are trashing each others hairstyles.

"Ok now please stop girls." Blake almost pleaded but they ignored him and continued their nasty argument about...nothing. Out of frustration, Blake kicked one of the big chairs in the common room and actually hurt his toe, "YAAOOOOUCH!!!" He yelped and fell on the ground with a thud. Oh no! His pretty toe sacrificed itself, hoping to bring the argument to an end.

Nikki turned her head as Blake yelped, falling to the ground. Oh no! Was he alright? "Look what you did!" She yelled, turning her head towards Shana. Wait, why did she say that? Nikki knew it wasn't Shana's fault that Blake was "injured". Walking over to where Blake was, Nikki asked, "Are you alright Blake?"

Helena actually broke into a swift smile at his words, glad he was reading her thoughts and she didn't have to say them out loud; she nodded. But then she wondered if Blake actually understood. She had just opened her mouth to say something when Blake kicked the couch and fell to the ground. She quickly knelt down next to him, her dark curls falling over her face as she examined where he hit his foot. Are you alright? Helena asked, her left hand fingering the wand in her back pocket.

Helena waved Nikki away as politely as she could and said smoothly, Until you and Shana figure this out, stay back. You're not pulling Blake into the middle of this. She had too much experience with drama to know that friends often got pulled in the middle of fights like that. She laid a hesitant hand gently on Blake's foot and waited for him to say something.
