I bet the twins have always been like they are now.  We've heard some of the things they've done, from Ron and Mr. and Mrs. Weasly, so... Maybe not as many as they do now, but they definitely pulled pranks and always acted like they do. After all, they wouldn't be Fred and George without that!

Yeah I agree  I imangine them always switching places. Thats probaly why Mrs.Weasley was never able to tell them apart because they were always a diffreent person the next day

all twins have done that trick where they swap for a day, 2 girls I know swapped over to confuse their boyfriends, it was so awkward and sooo funny! the twins must have done something like that. But Fred and george are very extreme, so they probably swapped clothes and everything for about a week

I definitely think they were always mischievous pranksters. Of course, when they were younger, their resources {spells, items, etc.} would be limited, but I KNOW they were still a handful for Mrs. Weasley, lol. It's a wonder she even had the courage to have Ron and Ginny after those two.  | |

Well we know they've switched places before, Remember, Ss. Their mum told one of them to go, then the other, and they tricked her.
And I really doubt that's the only time they did that, I mean common! We're talking about Fred and George here, They probably did it LOTS of times. for all different reasons. And I don't think they were any less mischivous as little kids, probably more, really.
