Ready to check out? Then you've come to the right place!

Once you've finished your shopping, you need to escort yourself to the check out counter located on the right side of the store. The shopkeeper can usually be found sitting on the wooden stool just behind the counter, but, if he isn't there at the moment, you are more than welcome to ring the green bell and just wait for him to show up.

Please place your candy on the counter so that he can see what you got and give you the right price.

Also located on the counter is a scale to weigh your candy if needed. Do NOT mess with the scale because if you break it, you're in big trouble!

OOC: Remember, no excess chatting in this thread. There are other places in Sugarplum's to chat with your friends!
ALSO, please specify how much of each item you purchase. I can't charge you correctly unless I know.

Happy with all the stuff she'd bought Callie walked away from Enya before saying "i'm just going to pay." and skipping over to the counter joyfully. She popped all her sweets onto the counter and beamed waiting for the shopkeeper. Okay so she'd got... A pound of Chocolate Dragon fudge, a pound of peanut butter and jellyfish fudge, A pound of chocoballs, 5 Drooble's Best Blowing Gum, 2 Toothflossing Stringmints, 5 Creature Feature Blowing Gum, 2 Giant Gumballs, 2 packets of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, 10 Chocolate frogs, 1 licroice wand, 5 fizzing whizbees, 1 sugar quill and 1 acid pop.

Preston managed to make it all the way over to the counter without tripping again, or even stopping to look at other sweets he might have liked and put into his basket. All he had was thirty Fudge Flies. Enough to last him quite a while if he rationed them out and didn't pig out on them. He placed his basket on the floor beside his feet so he wouldn't drop it and waited behind the girl in front of him to pay for her things so he could get his turn to pay.

Sophia walked up to the counter with her 2 sugar quills, 1 pack creature feature gum, and one pound of fudge for mum and dad. While she waited in line, she looked around the store. There was a lot of cool candies here. She will be sure to stop back later.

Cherry smiled at her first customer. She was buying a lot of stuff. And that was good. Hopefully it wouldn't make her too hyper.

She calculated what the girl owed her.

"That will be 8 Galleons, 14 Sickles, and 1 Knut."

She smiled at the nervous boy. It seemed that he only wanted Fudge Flies. She counted 30 of them, and then worked out the math to give him his total.

Sophia smiled at the lady at the counter. She said "Will do!" and reached in her bag for the money. She pulled out the money and put it on the counter. "There you go, ma'am." she said.

Woahs. That wasn't that much seeing how much she'd bought. She got the money out of her purse and put it onto the counter. "That enough ?" she said with a smile.

Rae had extra time before she was supposed to meet Evelyn at Gringott's, so with what she had left of the money she had taken from the wishing fountain at school, went to Sugarplums. Of course, Rae was not aware that she would be receiving an inheritance when she was taking coins from the fountain... That was normal living, stealing... Yeah, she hated it, but what's a girl to do with no home, no parents, and no money. Now things would be changing, but she still had a small sack of coins in her jacket pocket. Rae had never once been able to splurge and buy stuff for herself, nonetheless candy. This was the first time she could not worry about anything and just buy a bunch of candy like any other kid. Her arms were full, she stepped up to the counter, barely holding on to what she had. Then carefully started placing her stuff down.

Setting down one pound each of Walnut and Chocolate Dragon Fudge, 4 Coconut Ice, 4 Toffee, 2 Ice Mice, 2 Sugar Quills, 1 packet of Peppermint Humbugs, 2 Fizzing Whizbees, and finally 1 Acid Pop.

Norah didn't respond, instead, she gave a slight nod of her head and let her eyes wander towards the ground again.

Oh! He started to move on without her. Norah considered staying near the back display for a moment, but seeing as how she only entered the shop to get something for her baby sister, she decided to follow Eben to the front counter as well to pay for her intended purchase. A single lollipop.

Norah couldn't help but smile a little bit, she thought the idea of someone smuggling candy to school was pretty amusing. "And hopefully your trunk doesn't heat up too much." She almost laughed, thinking about how crushed Eben would be if his precious chocolate became nothing but a large puddle of sticky mess...one that could pose a threat to his new clothes and books.

Cherry counted the amount of money the girl placed on the counter and nodded. "Yep, that's it. Have a nice day." Hopefully she wouldn't get overly hyper and drive her parents crazy.

Callie smiled at the women before taking her sweets off the counter and skipping off happily. Wasn't James going to have fun trying to catch her once she'd ate all those. She had to try atleast one of each so that was a lot of sweeties.

Daisy walked up to the counter and looked at what she had decided to purchase. One pound of milk chocolate,yum, it was a lot of chocolate for her but she didn't mind. She also decided to purchse 2 sugar quills to balance all that milky chocolate out. She placed her purchase on the counter and wait patiently for her final price.

Ruby decided that after a long day of shopping, she deserved a treat. She walked into the sweetshop to buy some treats for herself. She ended up at the counter with:

a pound of milk chocolate
a dozen lollipops
a pack of Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans
a dozen sugar quills
a licorice wand

"how much will all this cost?" she asked.

Rae didn't have all the galleons, but she had a lot of coins, so she knew she still had enough. Lila walked into the shop and looked at all the sweets. After deciding what tickled her fancy she walked up to the counter. "I'ld like 4 ounces of each of the following white chocolate, toffee, maple and milk chocolate fudge," she said eagerly.

Carr shrugged and said, "I'd no idea at the time that he'd put so much effort into it simply because I told him he couldn't." She paused for a moment and added, "Though I suppose I should have. Anyway, he's transferred out of Hogwarts now. Doesn't keep in touch, either, the rag."

She didn't bring up the subject of distractions again, edging aroudn it. No one at school new about her mother and, while she was enjoying Jimmy's company, she wasn't about to tell someone she'd only just met.

"Hm, oh, yes," she said, clearly satisfied with herself. She had managed to dodge around being a completely useless girl and falling for Jimmy's act... or, mostly, at least. "I rather thought you'd be all right with it. It is a complement from a pretty girl, after all," she added, tossing her white, blond hair over her shoulder expertly. So expertly, in fact, that it toppled her fedora to the ground where the white fabric seem to suck in all the dust around it.

"Oh, no," she said, looking a little annoyed but not really upset as she picked the hat up from the ground and brushed it off slightly. "I should really stop trying to be flirtatious," she said, smiling behind a blush. "It only leads to things being knocked to the floor." She chuckled and said, "I was flirting with the Flourish and Blotts shop keeper earlier and ran directly into the glass doors on my way out." She grinned. "Suave I am not."

Carr placed everything she was buying on the counter and counted them out in her head. There were two boxes of Every Flavour Beans, two packages of Pumpking Pasties, two boxes of invisible gum, and two pumpkin fizzes. She'd managed to talk herself out of everything else. "How much for these?" she asked the shopkeeper, momentarily drawing her attention away from Jimmy.
