Default Gladrags Wizardwear

Gladrags Wizardwear has large windows showing off its quirky and novelty clothing. Anything from robes to shirts to socks and even underpants can be found inside on display. There's no need to wait until the next time you can make a trip to London or Paris or any of its branches stationed around the globe -- Hosgmeade's very own clothing store will have you looking your best in no time at all as soon as you walk through the door.

Once inside, you will find yourself overwhelmed by fabric of all shapes, sizes, and colours. Anyone that loves to shop for clothes will find themselves in heaven here. Mannequins showing off the newest merchandise will follow you around and place clothing in your hands, enticing you to take the clothing and try them on in the changing rooms in the back of the building. If you have any questions or need some altercations, the shopkeeper is there to help.

Default Jess...
Swedishfish Girl! Madame Librarian! Jess's Soul Sister! Sweetest Swede!

Laurel walked into Gladrags, clothes shop with a skirt and a jacket draped over her arm. Both clothing items were frayed, holed and well dirty after long time use. She loved both the skirt and jacket and had overused them and now she wondered if they were worth repair or just needed to be replaced. Hopefully Ms Longshadow could giver her some sage advice. Laurel slowly made her way up to the counter, eyeing up the pieces she walked by humming to herself. "Would it be too weird for a professor to walk around with turquoise earmuffs?"

Laying her skirt and jacket on the counter, Laurel gave signal to the shopkeeper that she saw that she was busy with another customer. Waiting in queue was something she disliked so she glided over to check out the hats and ear muffs section.

Ethan had grown a wholeeee inch since last summer when he got his first robes at Malkins. Not to mention he could use another scarf, which is what brought the first year Slytherin into Gladrags that day. What the still small boy didn't expect to see or hear was his head of house in there mumbling something of turquoise earmuffs?

Rummaging through the scarf display, he nodded politely at the professor. "I think earmuffs in the castle is a bit overkill? Unless you're planning to spend time outdoors?" But that was just his two cents and like, he was only twelve, so what did he know? It also wasn't as if she taught an outdoors class like Care of Magical Creatures; no, she taught in the stuff, smelly Divination Tower.

This was not quite what Brody had in mind when he said he wanted to hang out with Ethan in Hogsmeade. He had wanted to do something fun. Clothes shopping was not. His Aunt Tallie always took care of his clothes for him. But Ethan was his friend and after some complaining, he had still a bit reluctantly followed him into Gladrags. "Oh, yeah. I totally agree with that. It's best if you just use them when repotting mandrakes.''

Brody could not keep the bored tone out of his voice. His gaze passed over the Divination professor, ignoring her completely then settled back on Ethan. Arms folded across his chest, he asked, "So what are you getting again?''

Laurel liked clothes shopping in Gladrags because it was usually less busy with people than Madam Malkins and thus she could browse in her own good time. However she didn’t expect that her earmuff’s comment would be commented on in return by two boy students. With a Pidgeon hat in hand she turned to face the boys. Laurel addressed Ethan first smiling, but with a little edge to her tone. "As a matter of fact Ethan I do enjoy spending time in the outdoors, and then earmuffs can come in handy especially in the winter season when I teach lessons outside. Don’t you wear earmuffs when it’s cold?"

She then turned her gaze to Brody and asked a bit pointedly "Brody, I take it that you are speaking from personal experience then when you suggest using them when repotting mandrakes?" Laurel did not appreciate his tone. Kids needed to show some respect.
