Post Rupert Grint starring in Agatha Christie TV drama; Daniel Radcliffe in 'Guns Akimbo'

Rupert Grint has chosen his latest project - a BBC adaptation of Agatha Christie's mystery The ABC Murders, which he will begin filming in the UK alongside American John Malkovich (who will take on the iconic role of Poirot).

No word yet on a broadcast date for the BBC One three-part series, but it will be helmed by Sarah Phelps, who wrote the TV adaptations of J.K. Rowling's Strike novels.

Also joining the cast are Rupert Grint (Harry Potter, Sick Note) as Inspector Crome, Andrew Buchan (Broadchurch, The Honourable Woman) as Franklin Clarke, Eamon Farren (Twin Peaks, Chained) playing Cust, Tara Fitzgerald (Game Of Thrones, Requiem) as Lady Hermione Clarke, Bronwyn James (Harlots) in the role of Megan and Freya Mavor (The Sense Of An Ending, Sunshine On Leith) as Thora Grey. Further casting to be announced.

This one off three-part drama marks the return of Poirot to television and continues BBC One and Agatha Christie Limited’s unique production deal that will see Agatha Christie Limited and Mammoth Screen deliver six more Christie adaptations.
Rupert will next be seen in the second season of his Crackle-series Snatch later this year.

On the other side of the world, Rupert's former Harry Potter films' costar Daniel Radcliffe is well at work on his current project, the dark comedy Guns Akimbo. A few photos on location in New Zealand from last week can be seen below.

A synopsis of the movie can be read here. No word yet on a release date.
