Incomplete Drabbles The forum is home to all drabble threads that didn't quite reach their 25/50/100 target, but are definitely worth keeping on SnitchSeeker.

  1. Dream a Little Dream of Me - Ella Fitzgerald

Dream a Little Dream of Me
Ella Fitzgerald

Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper I love you
Birds singing in the sycamore tree
Dream a little dream of me

1 September, 1985

The stars shone bright above the beginning of Aurora Sinistra's tenure
as the professor of Astronomy at Hogwarts -- her dream.

In her Hogwarts days, spent as an inquisitive Ravenclaw,
Aurora could not seem to tear her eyes away from the Great Hall's ceiling.
This didn't change now that she was seated at the front of the room.

With wide eyes turned towards the "sky" above,
the newly-minted professor identified various constellations:
the Plough (just south of Polaris), Cassiopeia...

"Aurora, it's dinner time," Headmaster Dumbledore
reminded her with a twinkle in his eye.

She had star-gazed through the entire opening speech.
