Pep Rally: The Stage

A stage has been set up in the middle of the Pitch, looming with red velvet curtains which will eventually be drawn to reveal... Well, what exactly? Are the whispers around the castle true? Is it really set up to host famous guests? Only time will tell, since the Captains and the Flying Official are not uttering a single clue.

At the end of the day, this is also where the prizes will be awarded for those students involved in the competitions.

Better grab a seat in the many chairs placed accordingly and before you will be an unforgettable show and rewarding experience.

OOC: This event is open to multiple characters, not only your Hogwarts student. Characters played in this thread must be listed in your profile, and it should be clear when you are playing different characters by your purposeful usage of varying fonts, colours, etc.

Bel wasn't late! Honest! She'd been here helping set up, and then she'd remembered that she'd forgotten something, and now she was back after rushing all the way back to her dorm, tearing it half apart to find what she was looking for, and tearing all the way back. She'd painted her face, just yellow and black striped under her eyes, and had pulled on a Hufflepuff hoodie with her badge in pride of place on her chest. And the pockets of said Hufflepuff hoodie were stuffed full of.... something.

Look! There were her teammates, conveniently together. A couple of her other housemates too. Oh and other friends and people from other houses but for now, her focus was on her fellow badgers.

"Hey guys!!" Was she gonna chant too? Yeah she was! Heck yeah! "HUFFLEPUFF! WOOHOO! ONYA HUFFLEPUFF!"

And she'd got there right in time to hear Henry Whittebrook introduce himself. Impressive! She'd known he was on the guest list and she was still beaming from ear to ear. HUFFLEEPPUUUFFFFFFFF!

So this was a pep rally for the final matches?!Well, in that case... "HUFF-LE-PUFF! HUFF-LE-PUFF! HUFF-LE-PUFF!" she chanted. Oh, yeah! They were going to be the loudest ones out there, she was sure! She managed to overhear Cutie Charlie over the loudness of her chants. "A practice match against the professionals? I don't know if I'm good enough for that!" She stayed quiet to hear Mrs. Culloden's speech, but when the woman began cheering for Hufflepuff, Maddie just couldn't help it.

"HUFF-LE-PUFF! HUFF-LE-PUFF! HUFF-LE-PUFF!" she chanted again.

After a quick stop for food, Elissa made her way to the stage area. Her brown eyes scanned the crowd, and she spotted a group of her housemates (Maddie, Daisy, Emmalyn, and Charlie). She waved at the Head Girl and Quidditch Captains as she passed, greeting them with a whispered, "Hi." Ducking her head so as not to block anyone's view, she made her way through the rows of chairs to sit near the other Hufflepuffs. "Hi, guys,"
she said with a smile. "Did I miss much?"

Oh, Ms. Culloden was a Hufflepuff too? That knowledge had Elissa on her feet cheering and applauding, and out came her dancing badger plush.

Charlie moved and sat beside Maddie before the first guest got her chance to speak. "Why not?" the Hufflepuff grinned and shrugged. "I know we won't be able to win a match against them...but think about the tricks we might learn," he said, spreading his arms out. "I plan to be the fanciest chaser out there. I say NO to boring." he said playfully nudging Maddie by the side.

More Hufflepuffs appeared, and Charlie can't help but smile at the sight. Yellow was such a cheerful color and it was amazing to see so many of them wearing it proudly. "Elissa over here!"

Soon, the program started, and when the first cheer was said, Charlie was on his feet, screaming and pumping his fists in the air. "BADGER ROOOOAAAAAAAAAAR! HUFFLEPUFF LET'S GO!!!"

"YOU GO, HENRY!" Charlie slammed his chest and pointed at the former Hufflepuff Head Boy.

And look, their very own star seeker was here! "HOWZIT BEL!" he said, giving her the classic surfing shaka hand sign.

Thrilled to be in an every growing Hufflepuff group, Emmalyn grinned at Elissa's comment over the amazing food. "I sure hope there's some left after this." She wasn't sure how she was going to fit more in her stomach, but it was worth trying. "Did you see how many former Hufflepuffs have been on stage?! It's so awesome!"



She quieted down when Henry took the stage. ANOTHER HUFFLEPUFF!!! "We are excited you're here!" She yelled towards the stage. The more Hufflepuffs the better. Plus, he was a chaser!! Her position on the team. Once he ended his speech, she started chanting "HUFF-LE-PUFF HUFF-LE-PUFF!!!"

A few minutes later, she noticed Bel and Charlie. . More Hufflepuffs!! "Hey team!" She turned to Elissa, also noticing Maddie was next to Bel and Charlie, "We should go and join them. What do you say?" She also eyed Daisy "Come on, Daisy, let's all get together!"

As she moved the few feet through the crowd, she heard Charlie yell badger roar, so she did just that "ROOOOAAAAAAARRRR!!!!"

First year Vivian had decided that calling her friend ‘Zorro’ was much more easier to remember than Fiyero, But even that nickname had its own memory to it. She could safely say that it was the gytrashes’ fault that the nickname came to life, if the Gryffindor could remember that certain DADA practical.

And that blush was very much noticed. Vivian couldn't help but chuckle a tiny bit at her friend’s clumsiness right there. She herself was pretty clumsy too, and she could very much imagine how terrible it would be to actually break something as expensive as a camera. lt seemed Iike a slick model, after all. “You‘re welcome,” she replied, along with a wink. All good, no harm done.

The next Quidditch professional that came was someone Vivian was familiar with. That was their Head Boy from two terms ago. She had been under his student leaders team too, when she had first received the badge. So, despite the obvious Hufflepuff spirit in here, Vivian clapped for Henry. lt was nice seeing familiar faces, especially of those who had graduated through the years. Hogwarts was home after all, wasn’t it? As for Zorro’s question, the Head Girl simply shrugged a shoulder. “We’ll find out sooner.” Vivian had not planned of getting autographs nor did she want one, though, but she knew very well some others would want signatures of famous athletes. What better opportunity than today, really?

“But we should take a picture together, just so you know,” Vivian pointed out. Because they were old and graduating soon and did they really have a photograph together? She wasn’t sure, but it would definitely be for keeps.
