On the opposite side of the shop from the pygmy puffs is a brand new, brightly colored area. Large balloons in various animal shapes float above a colorful and slightly falling apart stand with a giant helium tank sitting beside it. A few feet away are several shelves full of every magical toy you could ever dream of, just waiting for you to take them home.
Looking for that perfect birthday present? What’s better than a miniature Quidditch set? Complete with a two-feet-wide Quidditch Pitch and your own quidditch teams to play the game while you watch! Or how about a mini Magizoo set? You can take care of your own magical creatures right in your house! Feel free to browse the shelves! You’ll find everything from teddy bears to enchanted model trains! These toys are great as birthday or Christmas gifts, or even just to buy for your own entertainment. You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy toys, either. You’ll find that there are toys for every age! If you have a question or need assistance, please ask the shopkeeper. Please don’t try to reach the high shelf items by yourself.
If balloons are more your thing, prepare to be amazed! That is no ordinary tank of helium. Is it even legal helium at all? Who knows! This magical helium is charmed to keep your balloons high in the air... FOREVER! No more droopy birthday balloons! The balloons come in four different sizes (small, medium, large, super-jumbo) and 10 different animal shapes. Could it get better than that? YES, because the animals MOVE. Wow! Talk about awesome. If you would like to purchase balloons, please ring the bell on the balloon counter and the shopkeeper will be there to assist you in a moment. Please do not try to use the helium tank by yourself.

"FABTASTIC. Let's get another one of those ships!" Because he wanted one for himself, please. Wasn't Aunt Lori soooooooooo kind to have given them money?

Which wasn't really all that sad, because now Beau was going to be the only Montague at school and wouldn't have to COMPETE with his sister for attention at quidditch time. Because people ALWAYS wanted Liliane to try out for the team and not him. So maybe he'd finally get his Go Go crown back. "What can we get Anna with?"

Not that Sparrow would ever voice that thought about his mother aloud, Merlin no! He'd heard stories, y'know? About her temper and how BAD it could get. Worse than grounding. Worse than CLEANING. Apparently, there'd been high heels involved - and he'd seen his mums high heels!!! They. Looked. So. Sharp. And. Pointy.
So he would never ever insult her because he enjoyed Sailing Camp too much. (Of course, he didn't believe the stories - his mother was SUCH A GREAT MUM most of the time - like today! - but she would definitely cancel Sailing Camp if he was horrible.
And he was never missing sailing camp.
"ANOTHER ONE!" Spar thrust the basket at Beau and then hurried back to where he'd came from, with lots of slight shoving and elbows and 'excuse me's, grabbed another pirate ship and then hurried right on back to put it in the basket. Just in time to hear that. "She isn't?" he looked surprised, but really he wasn't, because McCartney wasn't that much of a wimp and Smeliane was definitely more of one. Should have just copied him and Libby - got snacks and stayed in a tower. SAFETY FIRST.
Now for the interesting part. "HMMMMM. We could make her grow a moustache!" Cue hand demonstrations. "ORRR U-No-Poo or or or or a fake wand. OR EVEN A LOVE POTION." He seemed rather excited about that, but hurried on lest Beau get the wrong idea. "You spike her with it, yeah? And then she falls in love with you and puts you on the Quidditch Team!!"
Ab. So. Lute. GEEEEEENIUS!
He so should have been a Ravenclaw like Lib.

In fact, Brody wanted it more than ever and it made him feel as though he were a kid again rather than an almost teenager. Hearing his name, his mind momentarily drifted from the giraffe. "Ethan!'' he called back. There was a grin on his face upon seeing his only friend and crush. "Hi. How are things going so far?'' During the holidays he meant.

He grinned though back at the dormmate. "Good, good. Apparently my father isn't really happy about the lake stuff, but he says dangerous stuff happens all the time..." E rolled his eyes at Brody. "What do your parents think? I mean i guess, he's glad me and my sisters didn't really get involved with the attacks and stayed out of harms way." Ethan shrugged, thinking on some note he wanted to be there to protect the school, but also knowing he didn't know half as much defensive spells as his peers did.
"So what'd you need here?"

"It makes sense for him not to be happy. I mean anyone of us could have died.’’ A morbid thought but Brody was quite comfortable saying it. “I’m glad you weren’t injured at least.’’ He shot a quick look at the giraffe, wondering why he had let those words slip out. But then Ethan received his gaze again and it was a blank one. “My parents are dead.’’ He wasn’t sure if he ever told Ethan that, though Ethan knew he lived with his aunt and uncle. In fact, he rarely talked about his parent to anyone so he wouldn’t be surprised if no one knew.
Brody shrugged. “Nothing. Just suggested it. Have you got anything you want to do? If not, we can go get ice cream.’’ Unless Ethan had to meet one of his girlfriends. The thought did not sit well with Brody and suddenly felt moody.
