Quietly sipping his coffee, Evan listened to what his boss had to say. Apparation was not his area of work but being in transportation he was well aware of all forms of transport and helped out where he could when it was needed. This whole Uber business was still rather new but he had to admit that he was sure it would have it's perks.
Did he have questions? No. Not right now. No questions and no concerns. Maybe if he were to thinking about it a bit more that would change. "Count me in, Lynley. I'll help out wherever you need me to." It was all a part of the job. Raising the cup in his hands to his lips he took another sip of the hot liquid that usually helped get him through the long days.

"There are scones and...whatnot...over there." She gestured at the refreshments table she had set up. Coffee, tea, orange juice. Some scones. Fruit. She herself just drank her coffee.
Glancing at the clock after more people arrived, she cleared her throat to begin. "Okay everyone...this meeting is just about Uber. I know we've been set back--" she scoffed, "Due to some...things out of our hands--" That she didn't feel like getting into, "But I think we're all set to go! SO...we're going to be taking applications and registrations for apparition for these Uber Apparators. I think we'll hold a little party for he launch of such a new and exciting way of transportation in Diagon as soon as we have some apparators approved. Chloe," she looked at the younger woman, "I know you have volunteered to sort of work on the Uber stuff...be in charge of it..." Yes yes? "And I'd like you to continue on that path. So...I'll be posting some ads in the Daily Prophet and...we'll go from there. I will need a few extra hands on making sure these people can NUMBER ONE...apparate well. Two, have their licenses up to date, and THREE...willing to fill out all the paperwork and then CHECK their paperwork. So even if you're not in my apparition division, let it be KNOWN that I may be pulling people to help on this very special project. I WILLin the future be working on making our very own UBER section in the apparition division!" she smiled a little, mostly strained, and nodded.
"That's really it. Unless there's any questions? Concerns?"
The gangly Apparitions Lead swiftly but silently took up a seat just as Lynley started the meeting, fumbling over his paperwork as he tried to compose himself and keep up with his boss' discussions. What a time to have woken up late! Vickers never liked being rushed the way he did that morning, but at least he made it just in time before things got really awkward. Specially with the topic at hand.
He let his co-workers speak up first as he tried to reel in those weird, nervous psychological ticks of his. Breathe in, breathe out, calm down. "I-Is there a-anything you want me to do with Apparitions testing L-Lynley? A-Anything you want me to work on?" Ok that wasnt too bad. At least he was coherent yeah?
Yeah thats what crazy is, when its broken you say theres nothing to fix++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++And you pray that everything will be okay, while you're making all the same mistakes

Scones, yes, good, at least no bacon and sausage were being served. She stood and went to get a single scone along with a cup of tea, returning to her seat, just as Lynley began the meeting.
Uber? Right, she was reminded of that brief conversation in the break room so many months ago and volunteered? Maybe but only because if by volunteering it would mean eventually more money, though fortunately the Ministry Daycare remained affordable for Ministry Employees.
"Do you think there should be an age minimum for uber apparators? Because I could see young people, like maybe seventeen or eighteen, newly licensed of course, wanting to make some extra money. Or well, anyone in particular, but particular young people because its easy enough for them to do."
Also, uber section in the apparition division sounded cool. She nodded when Natalie, Evan, and Vickers all volunteered to help. "I should be able to work on some promotional stuff for the first day of Summer too. We can have a table out in Diagon Alley, yes?"

Nice to meet you, where you been? ______________I could show you incredible things
OH good, they were much chattier now! Thank Merlin. It was nice to see the head apparition person here, too, since this would eventually go under his division. And some of her employees brought up good points, surprisingly.
"I already have a spot picked out for the party, probably somewhere easy. The Leaky, one of their private rooms." She nodded. "But Natalie and Chloe, you two can certainly organize the food and stuff. I trust you both with that task!" She gave a rare smile. "The launch party won't be happening until I send out applications for Uber Apparators. "Vick, if you could write up a quick ad for the Daily Prophet that I'll send off once it's done...for the applications, that'd be great." She nodded again. "I may need all of you for paperwork depending on how many people sign up. And we'll need to..as I've said before, make sure they can accurately apparate AND that they have their licenses."
As for the age,....ummmm. "What do you all think? I'm not too keen on letting newly licensed people to apparate. They've not had enough of a go yet...the criteria could be...you have to at least be 19, and to have had your license for at least 2 years." That sounded good, right?
She hoped Evan didn't have too many hard feelings with not getting a specific job, but he did have a lot on his plate, and she didn't much think he wanted to organize a party.
