Oh yey! This is definetly the best ship. I've shipped R/Hr since book one too! Yay a whole thread full of people who have actually read the books, heehee. I love all the cute little R/Hr moments in the books... my favourite is when Hermione goes, "I was going to ask you, but obviously if you'd rather I got off with McLaggen..." and then Ron goes, "No, I wouldn't." And then, Harry goes: *smashy my pot* Hehe. What's everyone else's favourite  / moment?

Ron and Hermione are simply meant for each other. It's very hard to find a pairing where the lovers do match so perfectly with each other. It was such a pain to read book 6 when you have thousands of situation when you think: "YES! YES! Come on! NOOOOO! Are you two that stupid or what?"
Well. We can say: Love makes you blind. Really. Even Harry has noticed it...
If they don't get together during the 7ten book, I will cry. T__T

I agree with everyone that Ron and Hermione HAS to happen what I don't want to do is wait ... *pines for July* but yeah I wish already ... *dies*  for luck.
I don't know about a couple being more compatible, but I keep thinking of all the firecracker couples that shoot off sparks in love ... like in GwtW OMG! it's kind of like that, except Ron hasn't just taken Hermione and kissed her to shut her up ... seriously, sometimes she nags ... and then Hermione can slap him and call him a scoundrel all the while secretly loving that he was such a lion *raaaawwwwr* *Otty dies* and then when he goes to her room to apologize she can open the door and pounce on him and then they can be like ... well if we like each other let's kill Voldemort and help Harry and then we can get married and insert lots of cutesy R/Hrness and Harry pinning for Ginnylove and voíla! ♪♪♪  To R/Hr shippers ears ... *Plays the wedding march* OMG! ^Me too! Weddings are teh beautiful-est things in the world. If Ron & Hermione get married in the seventh book (Yes yes yes I know it is tres unlikely... but hey I can dream, right? We can all dream... *breaks into some old song about sweet dreams being made of these*)
But. If they do. I shall cry my little ol' eyes out. I <3 this ship. I truly do. The only thing I <3 better than this ship is the ship becoming eternal through teh matrimony, and possibly hot chocolate with white marshmallows that are almost melted.
No, scratch that. I love the wedding of R/Hr more than teh hot chocolate.

Milly | I have to agree, melted marshmallows in chocolate are pretty keen but nothing beats R/Hr ... and I'd love to read the wedding, I wish Jo would write it seperately as a little book for charity or something even if she doesn't write it for DH. The sad thing is I know what she'd say, she wouldn't write it because us readers would have imagined it better ... *sighs*
Which isn't to say that Ron and Hermione won't be married by the end of DH.  I'm keen to get my hands on Rupert and this book like superfast. | |

Anyway, it was Valentine's Day and I've been thinking , Ron and Hermione they're going to be an item -no doubt here-what they would call each other? 
They should invent new love words for each other. Secret pet names maybe? though we wouldn't know them until they blurt out in front of Harry. That would be hilarious.
Seriously, the wait for July is killing me ... get here already ...
