Just gonna throw this out their, but for a little while I was thinking that it could take a H/Hr turn. Anyone else get that vibe while reading it?

I know what you mean. When Ron left and Harry and Hermy were all alone, I was getting a little bit apprehensive. But alas, nothing happened, and Ron and Hermione got together in the end yaaaaay!!!

Pssssh I knew Harry Hermione would never slink behind ickle Ronnie's back when he left but it very much annoyed me cos I couldn't read about the ahwb-vious chemisty between Ron/Hermione.

When she was being crucio-ed by Bella though I like cried - and mostly cos of Ron's reaction!

I squealed and jumped up and down for about 5 minutes when Hermione kissed Ron. It was great! My mother came in and asked what was the matter. I remember hugging her and shouting "SHE KISSED HIM! FINALLY!!!" hehe

As for Harry and Ginny...it was bound to happen. We all knew it, and yet, I don't really understand this pairing. There was so little development on Harry's part.

Draco's wife whom we do not see in the end? I don't know why...but I see her as 5'4" with long dark hair, brown eyes and an adoring look on her face. *coughs*

-Ron and Hermione were great!! The kiss was the best-est and funniest.
and also especially in the Grimmauld place when they looked like they fell asleep holding hands! and how throughout the whole book, Ron would just choose over Hermione's side and compliment her..

-Harry and Ginny were cool too! Though to me, Ginny will always be that little girl who needed saving from the Chambers, but I'm glad they got together in the end. Sorta like history repeating itself? I guess Potters really have a thing for redheads...

-Tonks and Remus were REALLY sweet!
Thats all I can say about that.

I wish there was someone for Luna and Neville because I'd really love to see who they ended up with..
But since he ended up as a professor, I guess he never marries...
since there wasnt ANY proof that any professor was married..right?

The ships were exactly as they were meant to be.

Harry/Ginny = perfect.
Ron/Hermione = finally happened! It was a long time coming!
Remus/Tonks = I'm happy that Harry had to yell at Remus in order to bring him to his sense. I'm happy that they married and had a kid. I'm sorry that they died, but at least they died together. I'm also happy that Harry was made godfather to Teddy (like Sirius was to Harry), even though he didn't live with them apparently.
Draco/? = He obviously found someone, seeing as he had a child (Scorpius).
Luna/? = Luna used to be very close with Neville, but we don't know whether Neville is married or not. Somehow, I do not think that Luna and Neville ended up together. But Luna did become close with Dean Thomas in DH, so that could be possible...unless they're just friends.
Neville/? = I really hope that Neville found love, but maybe finding confidence and becoming a leader was enough for him.

Usually I pay more attention to the romancing aspect, but this time round not so much. However:

R/Hr: FINALLY, they kiss. Oh man. I thought I was going to die without witnessing that xP

H/G: Wasn't too impressed by this ship this time round -shrug-

Remus/Tonks: Was a bit surprised with how fast they got married. They were very sweet together, though.

Snape/Lily: Not exactly a ship per se, but the most touching. Probably because I find unrequited love to be superior in a way. What can I say, I like bittersweetness in everything.

I absolutely loved R/Hr! The kiss scene was just so romantic and perfect...R/Hr rocks

Harry was obviously still hung up on Ginny the whole story, but they got together, as I knew they would

Remus and Tonks was just...tragic, to say the least. Poor Teddy!

Did anyone else see hints of Dean/Luna or was it just me?

And no one for Neville?

Ron & Hermione - All I can say is finally. It was the moment we'd all been waiting for.. I screamed when they got together and well, yeah, everyone in family was like, "o.O." and then they rolled their eyes when they realized it was Harry Potter related

Harry & Ginny - I was a tad disapointed that nothing further happened in this ship. I am glad that they got together but honestly - I would have loved to see Ginny's reaction a bit more when she thought Harry was dead. Or if that wasn't possible, her reaction at the end when Harry was alive and defeated Voldemort Yeah.. but I am glad they did get together.

Tonks & Lupin - Not one of my favorites but still cute and believable. I was extremely glad when they got married and had little Teddy Tonks - especially for Remus who had probably been extremely lonely for most of his life what with James dying and Sirius in Azkaban.

Lily & Snape - I imagine Snape was Lily's best friend - very best friend but I don't think Lily ever thought more of Snape. Whereas Snape is concerned he always loved Lily very much. Had they remained friends would they have married? I don't think so - James and Lily loved each other anyways.

Yes people, we all knew it was going to happen. For a few chapters, I thought something would happen between Harry and Hermione but finally, after all these years of waiting, the kiss we've all been dying to see:

Lily/Snape: I honestly think it would have worked out between them if Severus had been sorted into Gryffindor. But then, there would be no Harry if they got together at the beginning. I honestly thought, during the snape memories, that they were gonna star wars' it and pull a snape telling harry through a memory, "i'm your father." i seriously considered it for a bit, and thought that it would be hilarious and awesome! i never really liked james, sorry mate.

Ron/Hermione: Well, obviously. We had seen signs of this, well I had, from Book 2. It's just taken 6 years or so for it to finally develop. The kiss- shocking. I was like, "what!" cuz it was so out of the blue. loved it though. did think that there was a harry/hermione thing going on for a bit during the middle, but it went away when ron came back.

Harry/Ginny: Even though I never liked Ginny, I am glad that they ended up together simply because Harry is happy and peaceful. Honestly though, I wouldn't have minded perhaps a harry/luna

Remus/Nymphadora: I hate that they had to die, but at least they went together. That's sweet. He was the last of the Marauders, so I sensed he would go.

Luna/Dean?: I saw it too Lissy. There was a possibility. They spent some time together when they were both captured and there was a point where Dean took Luna's hand and ran up the stairs with her. I would have minded it, although I thought that...

Neville/Luna?: ...would have ended up together. They seemed right for each other.

Draco/?: Why was he at King's Cross with a child and no wife. Had she died? Left him? Or just not there? Very odd, makes me mad that he was there with no lady.

And what about the Weasley's? George? Percy? Charlie? They can't have someone special?

I totally loved the shipping!!! The H/G moments were soooo perfect even if they weren't that many. I loved the Ron and Hermione kiss...it was just soooo cute!! I feel sorry for Lupin and Tonks...I wish they could've been together longer. It just so tragic...*sniff*

I feel the need to be a little smug. Does anyone remember after the release of OotP? We had the HUGE debate for MONTHS about ships and the outcome, right? Was it R/Hr or H/Hr? Was it H/G or H/L or H/Hr? And then we got the answer in HBP...but it was FOREVER in DH! All shippers who have believed in these ships, like I have, since CoS...or at least since GoF, we have been satisfied and proven RIGHT!! Okay, so now that I've bragged and all that, you will excuse me for posting all of my favorite moments in DH:

"Is this the moment?" Harry asked weakly, and when nothing happened except that Ron and Hermione gripped each other still more firmly and swayed on the spot, he raised his voice. "OI! There's a war going on here!"
Ron and Hermione broke apart, their arms still aroudn each other.
"I know, mate," said Ron, who looked as though he had recently been hit on the back of the head with a Bludger, "so it's now or never, isn't it?"

I was soo happy to see Hermoine & Ron get together. I think they are meant for each other. I cried when they kissed.

I'm happy with Harry and Ginny. I think we all knew they were headed for each other. The Ginny birthday kiss was soo sweet. Did anyone notice in the chapter art that Ginny & Lily look soo much a like?

I think I was surprised the most about Luna and Dean. I would of never pictured them together.

I don't think they showed Draco's wife because she wasn't one of the gang they we new from the books.

I felt soo bad for Snape. I don't think Lily had any idea that Snape loved her as more than a best friend. But she did love him - like Harry loves Hermoine.

I was surprised that Tonks/Lupin had a baby. I thought they werrn't going to make it but it was mad sadder because of the baby they left behind. And our Harry was Godfather - how sweet!!!

I don't think Neville ended up with anyone because he became a professor. It looks like none of proffessor marry. But at least he has his plants to comfort him.

As for all of those we don't know about - I guess it's up to our imagination to decide.

Am I the only one that thought Snape/Lily would have been really cute?

Sorry, but I would have liked that...Snapey seemed more worthy of her than James, overall. Sev was just so nice to her, and he really did love her. Like he smiled when she said his name, and he was all happy when she insulted Jamsey. But whateverrr. Severus lives on!

Ron/Hermione. FINALLY. Dude the entire time, I was just like, kiss, kiss, kiss! I was awaiting it foreverr. Ronnie was so cute when he was like complimenting her and stuff.

And when the horcrux showed him Harry and Hermione getting together, and he got SO mad, I was like laughing so much

And the kiss was amazing. Haha Harry had to remind them that there was a war going on

That was so hilarious. But yes, any Harry/Hermy shippers are crying themselves to sleep right now

I just thought that would be the cutest thing ever! But Jo already said that wasn't going to happen. Poo. Oh well. I wounder who Luna did end up with though...?

r+h4ever1, i read all of those quotes, my favorite of course being the hermione/ron kiss! ahh, we had waited so long! i have a friend who hasn't finished the book yet, and she always says "i hope harry and hermione get together!"

HA. i just roll my eyes and call her delusional. i do hope that doesn't spoil it for her

~Snape/Lily, no surprise to me there... I had a hunch, surprisingly after I saw this S/L video on YouTube, then I thought about it and figured with how Snape is about Harry I wouldn't be surprised if it was there. I was waiting for J.K to come out with Severus and Lily for a long time, cause I read that part with Snape calling Lily a mudblood and how her expression was described, I had a feeling something was there. I was hoping it'd show in book 6 actually... but I was kinda happy when it finally came up - I could finally prove to m friend my feeling about Snape loving Lily was there. I had a feeling Snape got to the letter and ripped it actually (I didn't skip ahead), just for 'with love, Lily' thing... (seemed kinda desperate if you ask me but w/e). I dunno if I like Snape/Lily or James/Lily more... I'd say it's about even, but Snape seemed to care a bit more I think.
~Ron/Hermione, let's face it.... it's the obvious one! Canon-wise (story-wise), I like it

They're meant to be (again, canon-speaking. Other than that, I'm not a huge fan... not my first choice but how J.K did it... it was good!!)
~Lupin/Tonks, again obviously after book 6. I like 'em (much more than R/Hr actually). When it said 'asleep' at the end in the pile of the dead, I didn't get it... I wasn't sure if they were just unconscious or actually dead. Then I realized after continuing on they were dead... I dunn why, but I barely shed a tear until Lupin said: "I was trying to make a world in which he could live a happier life." Then I started crying... the most out of all the other times actually. Dunno why but I didn't cry as much, but I definitely did shed a few tears throughout.
~Harry/Ginny, again obvious even if it wasn't stated much. I love 'em... canon-wise of course (that whole same thing with R/Hr and canon-wise I like 'em, but I like H/G more than R/Hr).

(I dunno why but I love Draco/Hermione so that's why I'm not as big a fan of R/Hr. Out of the two I go for D/Hr but story-wise I'd totally go for R/Hr obviously)

EDIT: And about the H/Hr, I got that vibe once Ron left... not so much as the R/Hr throughout, but at some parts like in Godric's Hollow I totally noticed it!

Seevrus and Lily totally surprised me...i think im the only one that was surprised...i think they would have been cute, but just think, there would be no "Harry Potter" would there?

Ron and Hermione are ADORABLEEE!!!

and i sooo wanted Luna and Neville to get together!!! I know JKR said that they wouldnt, but i still had hopes...o well.... =(

i cried my heart out when Tonks and Lupin died....at least their together though...but still i was sad...
