I have lots of HP scrappy-wise ideas in mind. Maybe I'll work on something this weekend.

Beautiful bracelet, Erin! I love crackle glass, too. I have some in a few different colours but haven't used much of it yet.

Ern - The crackle glass is gorgeous, and I love this bracelet, too! Both you and Jan are so very talented with jewelry making, makes me want to try my hand at it myself! I have needle nose pliers and some findings, perhaps I might give it a try.

Scrapbooking stuff will be coming up soon, as well as more knitting, I'm sure. Kudos to all of you guys, I love seeing all the wonderful projects and things from all of you and the idea sharing is great.

Clever expression of the spell, with the chains as spouts coming from the wand or the main link of the earrings. Really nice colour choices too! Well done!

Thanks. I wish the pictures were a bit clearer, but I was very pleased the the effect. I love working with chain (but expensive, whooo), and this was a nice way to do so.

I liked the earrings too, Ern! I should have known you would come up with something great for this project, the earrings are absolutely perfect for this theme!

Edit: I do love this new challenge, Magical Familiars. I'm out of town until the night of the 20th (Saturday), but that gives me lots of time to think up a fun project and get it done! Ooh, this is going to be fun! And sorry I've been slacking on the challenges lately, guys, I've been busy with a very important (and extensive) project, I'll try to participate more!

hehe His eyes are really tiny. I'm making another one now (well, I just have to weave in my end and it's done) with bigger eyes and it's totally hilarious. The kids stole my first creation. I'm thinking of giving them out as Christmas ornaments. LOL

Jan, I do like your entry for water, though I agree with you that it seems more like something you would expect related to an earthy topic. Is it a bracelet or a necklace? I can't seem to tell the size from the picture.

Kris - That Pygmy Puff is so cute! I will have to try this. I think it would be fabulous in fun fur. And I love those beads you did for Death Eaters - especially the little skull.

I think I probably mentioned, but I haven't been doing any challenges lately because of having to complete a huge project I've been working on (I will include photos in my thread if I ever finish!) After I get done with that, I will be back in business and ready to participate fully once again. It's just that I have a deadline and the project is massive, if I don't stay on it I never will get it done in time! (Well, once you guys see it, you'll understand!)

Edit: Jan, you are a pure genius! I just read your Craft Olympics post and I love it! This is going to encourage more submissions to the craft challenges, I know I have plans of catching up on things once I finish my massive project (hopefully next month) and I think others are going to contribute now, as well. Speaking of contributing, I will PM you soon as far as things I have to contribute to the cause. I certainly look forward to participating in this, both as a participant and as a donor, and I commend you for making this whole thing more interesting and fun!

I'm glad you like the craft olympics idea. I'm still working on that thread. I've counted up everyone's points and have to post them now. Also I want to put links in the 2nd post to each of the challenges for convenience.

Jan - I'm more motivated than ever to finish up that project (which is indeed a craft thing, it's a challenge afghan which I have had to design myself and features a view of purple mountains and some trees in the foreground, have had to chart everything out in detail and use a lot of yarn bobbins and stuff, very confusing - but it's for a good cause and something I do every year). I really want to work on those challenges and get caught up to date, all are great and well thought out and I have more motivation than ever, since I love competitions, especially craft related ones! Definitely, as I told you, I will be making some contributions, as well.

Speaking of competitions, marfamarfa and HermyGirl, both of your contributions to the Magical Familiar challenge are wonderful! I am so inspired when I see the awesome projects others complete, and these are really, really cute! I just love all these little creatures you guys are coming up with!
