Happy Felting!
Kristi’s Felted Snitch Bag
Pre-felted dimensions: forgot to measure
Felted dimensions:
Materials:
Knit Picks Wool of the Andes: 2 skeins Daffodil (or any yellow/gold worsted
100% wool)
Knit Picks Wool of the Andes: 1 skein Dove Heather (or any gray/white worsted
100% wool)
N & H hooks (gauge is not important, you can use a larger or smaller hook but, remember that the more loosely you work the more the fabric will shrink during the felting process)
I had just enough yarn using the amounts listed above so, please take that into consideration when buying yarn for the project, especially if you use a larger hook or crochet loosely.

Row 9: Ch 2; (1 sc around ch3 of scale, sc in next 3 sts) repeat to end, sc in last 2 st, sl st to round 5, fasten off & leave long tail
Turn one wing “inside-out” by pushing scales to other side. Now there is a right and a left wing.
Finishing:
Use tails to sew wing pockets onto bag (or weave in your ends and sew after felting)
Attach handles (if desired – I use a twisted cord and felt with it attached to the bag, slipping the end between two stitches and knotting either on the inside or outside depending on look)
Place assembled bag (or pieces, if you prefer to assemble afterward) in a zippered pillowcase (or knot one, though those can be tough to get unknotted if you tie it tight enough not to come loose in the wash) and felt in washing machine. Shape and allow to fully dry. Run through the wash again if you want to felt it further (I find projects using Wool of the Andes need two wash cycles through my front loader to really felt up well).
If you want, you can now sew a zipper on (do this after felting so you know what size zipper you need).[/spoiler]
