The castle houses several suits of armor but, this one seems to be a particularly popular place for meetings between friends.

Camira walked until she found the suits of armor. She'd always felt relaxed around them. Maybe it was because they went along with the dungeon theme. Who knew. She leaned against one and started talking. "Imagine all the things you'd have to say if you were alive. I wonder if I could animate you and have you tell me all the school's secrets?" She smiled at the thought. She'd have to look into that.

Tanjiro walked along until he saw a girl leaning against a suit of armor.

'What the devil!?', he thought.

He grinned forcefully and said, "Well I guess I'm not the only one who gets along with suits of armor," He interrupted. In truth, he was just trying to spark up a conversation. Maybe this girl knew loneliness like he did.

Camira jumped as she heard a voice. She turned around, already starting to blush. 'Goodness, that is the second time this week I've been caught talking to an inanimate object', she thought to herself. 'I'm defintely going mental.' She gave the guy a smirk. "Yes well, this suit of armor is a far better conversationalist than most of the people in this school, though I'm not quite sure who it's a reflection of at this point. Camira Yaxley, by the way."

Tanjiro stuck his head out a little, frowned and nodded as if the situation were understandable.

"Umm, interesting, interesting...," he said slowly. He walked a little more closely to the suit of armor and observed.

After close to 5 seconds he looked back at her and said, "Nice to meet you, I'm Tanjiro, AKA Tees. What year you in?"

Hmmm... the boy was talking rather slowly. Perhaps she was scaring him? Ah well. Couldn't be helped. Besides, if she really was going mental, people would have to get used to it eventually.

Tees. She liked that name. She would definitely be calling him tees. "Nice to meet you too, Tees. Love the nickname, by the way. I'm a fourth year. What about you?"

Tees adjusted to the more 'normal' conversation, starting with speaking normally.

"Oh cool. I just started attending Hogwarts so... 5th year is like 1st to me." He looked around the corridor as if every part of it was a mystery.

Oh, a transfer student. They were always fun, and this one was quite pretty...well, whatever the boy version of pretty was.

"Really? How do you like it? What have you seen so far? Have you been to the grounds? What school did you go to before?" Camira knew she was throwing a lot of questions at him, but it was nice to have someone to talk to who didn't know her. It made them less likely to judge her based on her past behavior.

Tees was taken aback from all the questions but he smiled along, not minding. He thrust his hands into his robe's pocket and answered, "I think the place is awesome and all but I'm still having mixed feeling about it. I'd definitely like to see whether these Hogwarts students are any good at quidditch.

I haven't been around much. Just the great hall, and the Slytherin Common Room. I've been too the Grounds once, but I didn't stay long at all."

He stopped to grab a breath, then continued, "I was home schooled till I was 14. Then my mom wanted to let me experience a real school. My dad wasn't up for it. He wanted my help because it wasn't easy managing a hotel in wales."

He stopped to think about those times, looking up at the ceiling, almost lost. After about 2 seconds he smiled at her.

"So have you ever been to Japan?"

He knew she probably hadn't, but if she did then it would've been great to discuss his home country.

Camira smiled and nodded enthusiastically as he spoke. Interesting. She'd never met anyone who'd been home schooled. Well, other then herself, but that was only for one term.

"Japan? No, I've never been. Is that where you're from", she asked a bit hesitantly. She hoped she wasn't making some kind of offensive assumption or anything. "Can you tell me what it's like.... if you've been there, that is."

Tees nodded again, not minding her question, and said, "I've lived in Japan for 9 years. I can remember that it was peaceful there. A lot of people just farmed, studied, and did whatever it was we'd do. It was corrupt there, though. Gangs were what disrupt that peace...." There was more to it, but he didn't want to scare the girl.

"What about you? Where are you from, originally?"

Wow. Japan sounded very interesting. Calm and peaceful, yet full of adventure. “Me? I grew up in England. My father is a business man so he’s out of town a lot. I spent a lot of time with my mum. She’d read me stories and have the house elves bake me cookies. I miss those days. Things were so much simpler when I was a child.” She didn’t want to tell him her mother was dead. That was far too personal. “So, you mentioned Quidditch. What position do you play?”

Tees sighed through his nose, then nodded in agreement. "Yes, everything's easier when you're a child. Being naive can be a happy thing, too."

He stretched his arm and said, "I play the Chaser position. I just love doing the most fun part." He rubbed his neck.

"You wanna grab a seat at the Common Room or something? I'm a starting to get a little tired from all this standing, and I coulda' sworn that that suit of armor moved a little."

Camira turned quickly at glared at the suit of armor. It couldn't have moved...could it? She suddenly felt nervous. She could already imagine the headlines. 'Yaxley girl decapitated by suit of armor. Suit of Armor says Yaxley offended it.' Ugh, she definitely wanted to get out of here now.

"Yes, the common room sounds great", she said, forcing a smile. Now the armor had her paranoid.

Anna turned the corner of the second floor corridor and entered an area that seemed to be overrun with suits of armour. She giggled softly to herself, remembering the "No wearing the suits of armour" rule from last school year. Did anyone actually ever consider wearing them to the point where a rule had to be made? Ahh, oh yes. Bilium Q. Jones had. She remembered hearing a few girls talk about it during one Hogsmeade weekend. Silly Slytherin.

As part of her evening prefect duties, Anna peeked around all sides of the armour, trying to catch some lucky couple hiding out for an evening snog. Ehh, no one. This place was deserted...

Cale sighed as he walked along the corridor and past the suits of armour. His thoughts were still wrapped around the presents he had gotten so far from his family for his birthday. Theresa had woken him up at 7 o'clock to give him her present, which was a big bag of jelly slugs and a book on all sorts of different Chaser moves to use during matches. Ezra had given him--le gasp--a HUG as a present, and his mum had sent him a book on Herbology. Nice. Real nice.

As he turned the corner, he noticed there was only one other person in the hallway--Anna. Of course, fate was just THAT kind to him lately. Coughing awkwardly, he walked up to her, blushing all the way up there. "Erm, hi Anna," he said with an awkward smile.

Anna had just peered behind the last statue and was about to turn around and head back down the corridor when she suddenly heard someone talking right behind her. The noise took her by surprise, so it was only natural that she jumped a little, startled by the sudden appearance of someone else. And, of course, she just had to bump her head on the suit of armour she'd been looking behind, causing a loud noise to shatter its way down the corridor.

"Ow," she mumbled, rubbing the top of her head in an effort to stop the pain. She was then able to finally turn around completely and properly greet whoever this was standing right behind her.

"Oh!" Anna exclaimed, seeing that it was none other than Cale Newell who'd joined her at the suits of armour. He was probably on prefect rounds, as well. "Hey there...I...sorry, give me just a minute to make sure the hallways really aren't spinning like they appear to be right now." Anna blinked a few more times and then refocused herself. Ahh, that was better. Much better.

"Cale, how are you?" she finally asked. "Oh, and Happy Birthday!"

Cale jumped himself a little bit as Anna hit her head, and it sounded like she had hit it pretty hard. "Oh, are you ok?" he asked, hurrying over to her. He had been about to reach out and rub her head--his natural instinct--but stopped. That might not be appropriate right now. Not with their current situation.

"I'm ok," he mumbled, smiling sheepishly as she wished him a happy birthday. "Thanks...I'm finally of age!" he said, trying to sound enthusiastic about it. Instead, he just kept replaying memories of his last birthday. He had kind of sort of been with Cora, but slowly falling for Anna, and she had gotten him jelly slugs as a present, and he bought her a ton of chocolate frogs. Was that the time they threw the Cooper card under the rack? It might have been.

"Yeah, I'll be alright," she mumbled. "I think so at least..." He certainly had hurried over to her when she'd first nearly knocked herself out. That was so sweet of him. Then again, she would have done the same thing had it been him getting hurt instead. Oh, wait. No, no, no. She wouldn't have done the same thing. She woud have first made sure he was okay, then she would have hexed the suit of armour into oblivion for even daring to hurt him in the first place.

"You are of age, aren't you," Anna said, smiling as she talked. "I'm not too far behind you, you know. I'll be there next year. I hope you've had a really nice day. Anyway, like I said, I got --..."

She never got to finish that thought, though. The dizziness came back, and the next thing she knew, the floor appeared to be the ceiling, and the ceiling appeared to be the floor. "I...uhhh, Cale...," she mumbled, right before swaying back and forth a few times and finally staggering over just a bit to the point where she fell right into his arms.

Cale gasped as Anna looked about ready to pass out, and before he knew what was happening, she was falling towards him. He opened his arms without even thinking and caught her, and he held her in his arms for a few awkward seconds as he tried to process what was going on. "Anna! Are you ok? Do you need to go see the nurse?" he demanded.

Deciding it was better for them to sit on the floor, he gently helped her down so that was propped against the wall, but he still kept an arm around her protectively.
