Hiya there all you SSers, this is Kat, your resident fan club feline and co-president of the GWFC. I'm here in the Chamber of Secrets with Laila aka Magical Soul and why are we here you may ask? For the August Flavor of the Month of course, affectionally chosen to be called Jelly slug in honor of the big bad basilisk who used to reside here.

Say hello and any other words you may have to our gracious audience my dear.

*stumbles into the studio and poses for the camera* Hello Kat! *shakes hand and takes a seat* And hi everyone *grins at audience as they applause* It's really sweet of you having me here I'm honored... really honored *blushes a bit*

Let's start off with something simple....what's your favorite ice cream flavor be it the actual "muggle" flavor or a kind you think you might like if it was real?

Umm.. I like chocolate flavor It's awesome and makes me even hyper-er than I am ~~not to mention adds more acne, hehehe, you haven't heard this though.~~

So Laila looking throughout the FC's I see that you are very active for a newer member. What is it that attracts you the most to the Fan Clubs and why?

*nods as Kat talking* Well, I was un-sorted and feeling slightly bored ~~playing in the Weasley's shop all day~~. And the forum is huge literally and I usually got lost when looking for an interesting place to get hooked to So my sister discovered those fan clubs, I didn't notice them before *says it off-Air hehe*, and she recommended them and when I participated in LPFC first it was great really, so I continued on applying for other fav FCs and meeting funny and hyper people made me really attached to them *drinks water*

Ah..yes, there can be some interesting...characters in the fan club and not just the characters that the clubs are based on *acts innoscent*

So speaking of characters, you mentioned Lily Potter as your first club. Is she your fav, or is there another that tops your list? (this can be anyone even those without fcs)

No, actually she's not my number one character. I almost like all of Hogwarts students even the bad ones They give the HP world more sense of reality. I generally (Like most fans) prefer the trio along with the Weasley family But LPFC's name caught my eye and Lily is one character that has touched my heart very when I knew her story with Severus *sniffs* I mean, of course I sympathized with him as well but she was kind of torn between two worlds before choosing one... the right one ~~Although I don't like James Potter at all~~

Uh huh such a sad story. *sniffles with you and shares tissues* I for one have a soft spot for dear Severus myself. Its a shame he had to end the way he did. ~~Well he was a bit of a git at times wasn't he?~~

With mention of the last book, was there anything you would ask to change or is it perfect the way it is?

Yes, Severus is the hero... I mean one of the heroes in HP world and I don't claim that I felt he had some secret role to play at the end, but I was a bit suspicious about him and Dumbledore ~~Yeah, he expressed himself harshly to Potter. But we can blame James a little, Heh~~
The last book was kind of a bit disappointing to me. It's very good though I preferred a better plot. I consider the 4th and 5th plots the hardest and most exciting of them all. There were a bit of flaws (I may call them) Like an idiot as Malfoy's friend conjuring such complicated dark magic? Or the way Harry escaped after pretending to be dead, and Narcissa doing what she's done at that time. Those didn't fit in my head easily. *takes a breath from rambling by drinking some more water* Oh and the epilogue was touching, but I preferred a Post-Battle chapter that would explain the reactions of the characters we've lived with for 7 years.

Most certainly. I have to agree there were many ends not tied up...the most critical in my mind...George and his dealing without his twin. Oh well I guess thats what fan fiction is for...so we all can add our own unique spin to things.

Speaking of unique, is there anything you'd like to tell us about yourself?

Well, I agree with you on the George matter. I had the impression that Percy's reaction was too dramatic for his usual attitude. He is back on the right track of course, but his reaction was overdone. George's, on the other hand, was so blurr and I preferred that JK gave us 'more time' to mourn over such important character. Anyways, thank God for fan fics ~~I don't read them unless someone asks me to however.~~

*gets nervous all of a sudden and plays with her fingers* About myself? Umm... I don't know what to tell you Let's say that I can be ~~eccentric~~ a little childish at times, and I love to know more about the world. Yuck! doesn't sound fun at all, but that's what I could get from my head *smirks*

Aww thats ok. It was a random question I threw out there since I'm new at this and nervous too. *pokes sorting hat that always places me in Gryffindor when I can be such a coward. ~~Book worms for the win~~

Well anyway back to the fan clubs. If there was any character you thought should have a fan club that doesn't who would it be? (Always good to root for the underdogs sometimes eh? )

Does Grawp have a fan club? Or even Hagrid? *eyes Kat seriously* If not, then shame on you mods! It's Hagrid we're talking about! We can have some skrewts and dragons in the club too, for his own sake. You know he won't be happy without 'juicy' creatures that we can hang out with

Grawp doesn't and Hagrid used to though because of inactivity it unfortunately lost his solo status. But fear not his unique awesomeness is still celebrated in the Extra Characters Fan Club. Where characters are no less special.

*glances between notes and clock realizing the time*
Looks like we're just about done. But before we go, give a shout out to those you please.

The first person I wanna give a shout out to is DFTBA without whom I wouldn't be a member in SS and of course to my youngest sister ~~and mom's spoiled kid~~ The fastest seeker And to all of SS members who became my lovely friends.

*hears hissing* Oh and of course to the basilisk without whom this chamber wouldn't be existed *giggles nervously*

Ah yes...him *puts sunglasses on*

When the fan clubs request open again someone should ask for it

I disagree with you here I think what Narcissa did and when Harry pretended to be dead were one of the best surprises although it’s your point of view.
