thanks Kris,
Okay here it is, Professor Phoebe Phoenix requested a Valentine's Day poem about my favorite couple, it would have been easy to pick Harry and Cho or something like that, I chose to pick a different couple that I feel captures the V-day and the HP series so far....hope you enjoy it too.....Spots
Valentine Hearts
Both Gryffindors of days gone past, their love did there commence,
and to this day, so much has changed, yet love grows ever since.
Both students of the Hogwarts School, he dashing, her so sweet,
they rarely dared to break the rules, 'cept late at night, they'd meet.
To share each other's company and plan upcoming things,
to stay together, come what may, see what the future brings.
The times were good but evil lurked outside their peaceful world,
old bitterness once thought as dead, was once again unfurled.
The weekends spent together would be joyous, it is true,
trips to the shops in Hogemeade, time spent loving, just the two.
While others fought the battle, they began to start their life,
to begin a family was enough, for this young man and wife.
Their firsts were Bill and Charlie, full of freckles and red hair,
and not much later Percy came to join his brothers there.
Then came the two that parents dread, twin jokers to the core,
the ones most parents say "that's it" we're never having more.
But for these two, their love was such, they couldn't stop just there,
so in came Ron, same puzzled look, more freckles, more red hair.
Alas, the time had come to change the bantor of this throng,
the parents' dreams were answered when sweet Ginny came along.
Who'd ever think that such a group could come from just these two,
the Weasleys are a family who's bloodline's old and true.
On Molly's side, maternity, to take care of her young,
for Arthur's it the ministry to finish what's begun.
She stays at home to tend the house, make supper, beat the rugs,
he goes to work studying muggle-things, their batteries and their plugs.
Each night they come together and are thankful for their life,
they share what many long for between a husband and a wife.
Seven children raised as wizards in a time of evil choice,
they stand behind their parents' love for goodness, as one voice.
It's the Order versus Eaters, in a match that none can win,
for when it's finally over, a new life we'll all begin.
But for Arthur and sweet Molly, and their happy family,
each day they spend together shows how rewarding life can be.
For two who fell in love back then, what little did they know,
how each would need the other's heart to help their true love grow.
So on this Day of Valentines we celebrate their hearts,
the Weasley two that grew to nine, and this is how it starts.
Both Gryffindors of days gone past, their love did there commence,
and to this day, so much has changed, yet love grows ever since.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone……
Sir Spots
