Poet's Pointers
Welcome to the Script Crypt, SnitchSeekers very own Poetic Vault deep within the tunnels and chambers of Gringotts. Like all other threads it has certain rules. Follow these and everything will go with the flow.
".....now let's see....what rhymes with orange?" Rules:- You must create your very own portfolio where all your works go. Don't post a new thread everytime you have a Poem. Try entitle it 'Spot's Poetry' or something like that.NOTE: your first post MUST contain a poem you can not just post something like "This is my Poetry thread" without including a poem.....it WILL be deleted if it doesn't contain a poem.
- I know your post won't appear as soon as you post it, that's because It has to be checked by me first. So don't post threads saying: Where is MY Post???'Whaa!'
Since this is a Harry Potter based site, all entries must have something to do with the HP series (books or movies) either characters, locations, themes, etc. so please no poems about other subjects here......
THIS IS A NEW UPDATED RULE TO TRY AND CONFORM TO THE OTHER FF THREAD RULES ALL NON-HP-RELATED POEMS WILL BE DELETED AND A PM WILL BE SENT TO THE AUTHOR NOTING IT.
- ALL THREADS will have to contain an SS rating in their titles to conform with the rules for all Threads in the Grimauld Place, you can find an explanation of the ratings here......"ratings"
- Be Original, Don't take others work and claim it your own.
- Spelling. People will read your poetry so make sure it is in a language we all understand. (and following the SS guidelines that means in English as well)
- Follow all the SS Code of Conduct Rules at all times.
- When replying to someones work, please write something constructive. Don't spam their Portfolio, and if you have nothing to say then don't post.
Poetry threads that remain inactive for 30 days or more will be moved to a FINISHED POETRY THREAD, if you wish to post a new poem and reactivate it you must PM me first.....Sir Spots

You want to input your poetry but you think you need to check your spelling and maybe looking for some better words. Sure, then check out this site for help:

| Poetry Announcement Please Read Now!!!
I would like to inform you of a new rule that you may have missed if you haven't read them recently. As of August 1st. All poems submissions must be related to Harry Potter themes. This can include the characters, the settings, the storylines, or any other theme that can be related to the Potter books or mivies. If you post a poem that is not related to these themes after this date, It will be deleted and no new threads will be approve with non-HP related material. This has already been the policy in the FanFic and FanArt threads so we needed to bring the poetry threads into compliance as well..........SirSpots

| Why Is My Thread Closed???
You may be wondering why I've closed your Poetry thread. More than likely it is because it contains material that is NOT HP-related. There are many wonderful, very heart-felt poems on these pages of poetry but, as stated in the rules for Gringotts Wizarding Bank, all material must be related to Harry Potter, the books, movies, characters, etc...... If you would like to remove your non-HP related material from your thread, please PM me or one fo the other Poetry Mods, ad we will open it so you can (or we will) remove them. Thank you for your understanding on this and cooperation, Sir_Spots
