This goes out to all you Snape fans, like me, knew that he had a softer side!

Severus Weeps

Such are the ways of princes past
when all but blackness taunts me,
Upon the hill where Lily lies
in shades of guilt upon thee.

Temptation speaks to those who need
a raven’s sight behold,
The nexus strengthens with each breath
to him, a thousand fold.

With eyes, that haunt him knowingly
her memory, he reaps,
For sorrow of what could have been
in silence, Severus weeps.

the Devil Wears Pink


Fringed suit
bow in hair
clicking heals
down the corridor

Evil quill
"shall not tell lies"
her blatent torture
is no one's surprise

Posted rules
on walls hang
sucks the fun
from everything

Hides behind
walls of pink
really makes
a first year think

Nasty hides
behind a smile
covered in
the pinkest bile

Her time will come
sooner now
time to rid Hogwarts
of this nasty cow.

If Ever There Was

If ever there was
a house elf so loyal
with biggest blue eyes
that sometimes told lies

with a crackle and POP
he comes in and out
warning of danger
to Potter, no stranger

set free by a sock
and the wit of a wizard
he always warns Harry
of things very scary

Though he speaks
of secrets he shouldn't
he feels guilt so grand
that he irons his hand

But all this in vain
and only to warn
his dearest friend Potter
...and the iron gets hotter

I am not sure about my feelings for Lucious.
Do I think he's good? Uh, NO, however, there is just the teensiest
intrigue about him.

ever pale
transparent skin
makes a young girl cry

Hoarding Dark and
magical things
...deatheater, perhaps
though you don't seem to try

Handsome in an
evil way
the depth of your eyes
makes a grown woman lie

All for the dark lord
nothing for you
the mark has been seen
look up to the sky

Loyal, he thinks you
scared, though you be
run like the devil
For your soul he will buy

dark eyes searching with great intent
palest of skin with a blush of fear
but he knows only one reason

Secretive plots, in agony he lives
startled at the sight of him
but he feels only one warmth

Protector, though he may be
looks of accusation weaping from his eyes
but he feels only one beat

Begged to take life
and promised he did for reasons unspoken
but he feels only one light

Betrayed and spat
against the highest of evil
but he feels only one darkness

Wizard's Rhyme

Mad-Eye Moody
demonstrating curse
Snape in the cupboard
with an alligator purse.

Silver hair Dumbledore
standing at the front
he and Harry Potter
always on the hunt.

Cranky little Umbridge
clicking down the hall
posting all her silly rules
up and down the wall.

Trelawney didn't realize
her magic held the key
unlocking darkest secrets
when she made her prophecy.

Godfather Sirius
dying to protect
at the hand of Bellatrix
insane, as we suspect.

Mr. Arthur Weasley
ne'er internal struggles
magically enchanting
items from the muggles.

Then there's sweet Minerva
with her face so stern
quite nicer than they think
she just wants them to learn.

Remus Lupin
howling at the moon
wondering if Teddy
will be howling just as soon.

Gilderoy Lockhart
Harry's nerves he'll cross
stands in front of mirror
with his packet full of floss.

Argus Filch and Norris
sneaking down the hall
learning loads from Kwikspell
and he thinks he'll fool them all.

Silly Stuttering Quirrel
with a turbin like a bun
whatever made him think
two heads, better than one?

Hateful man of discontent
in your voice I hear lament
Voldemort will take his toll
reject your body, steal your soul.

Says that he will comfort you
Takes your hand and guides you, too
Shows you all the things he needs
on your darkest thoughts he feeds.

Parseltoungue to you he speaks
evil from his dim breath reeks
Albus chose you to do ridding
dark lord keeps you for his bidding.

Luna's Lymric

There once was a nargle named Squeekers
and I caught him hiding my sneakers
I'm sweet as can be
I love to be free
and my best friend is Harry, the Seeker.

I often feed Thestrals good snacks
I always have treats in my pack
I share my good times
I love to tell rhymes
and I know that my friends have my back.

I'm blonde, and some think me looney
I'm strong, though some call me puny
always wearing my specs
as I often perplex
and I whistle a bloody good tooney.

This is a special poem. I've always felt Snape was not as horrible a man as everyone deemed. He did, after all, respect the bond and trust between he and Dumbledore. So, this is Dumbledore's message to Harry regarding the braveness he found in Snape.



Dumbledore's Message to Harry

Don't cry for me,
my dear young friend.
Life for truth,
I had to spend.

and lo I hold
the coveted wand,
in magic and friendship
we too, did bond.

I've told you tales
and wizards lore,
and my feelings of Voldemort,
how I abhor.

the twinkle
in the sky at night,
the firey feathers
of Fawkes taking flight.

There's much
you may not understand,
but trust me
for I've asked his hand.

You may think him
dark and greasy,
the truest of friendship
never easy.

When you see him
swiftly passing,
think not ill
for he's surpassing.

Somehow,
when he seems two-fold,
remember how
his soul he sold

and all to help
protect a life
from which the depths
of love held rife.

It takes a man
with trust, forgoing,
to concur
and soul, then owing.

I begged his help
to let me die,
He died in vain
for you and I.







Soul Searching

Loathe this wicked soul,
I smell the roots of death
are rotten,
Trapped inside this hole
and with last breath
I fall, downtrodden.
Others I must thole,
for in this heath
they've not forgotten.
Loathe my harmful soul
