Sirius And The Ladies

It's time to discuss Sirius and his actions with the ladies. How do you see him with the ladies? Do you believe him to be with just one lady at a time or where there several? It should be interesting to find out what everyone believes Sirius to be in the department of love!

Hmm lets see, sirius my man and the department of love


We know he has: good looks, he's a black, a marauder, quite the rebel, highly popular at hogwarts with james -secretly rawrs-, etc etc. So i come to my conclusion that he can turn some heads towards him and by that yes i mean girls.

Knowing his mischevious ways could never be udnerestimated although i am quite surprised that JKR never showed us that he in anyway had any sort of feelings towards a specific girl like james did with lily. However! we did get hints that sirius in someways did comfort james on the way lily reacted towards him, meaning in someways sirius did have experience with girls or knew the way they 'function'

So here i can say, He knows how to treat a lady =) -cough-

I would say he'll probably be the charmer towards several girls at a time, unless he really liked one and when he does he will truely be faithful to only that one person. Until death do them part thats what i'd like to believe. The reason i believe so comes from his character and relationship with his friends, his loyalty and courage =).

Being quite the charmer he was, I am sure there were several girls who flocked their way into Mr. Black's territory. I agree with Rhea in that he could turn quite a few heads, hince he does own the largest FC on SS , and with being so popular, it comes with the territory. He knew he was handsome and to me he had confidence. Maybe the love of the girls on top of his great bonding friendships with the Marauders, minus Peter, was his only means of feeling truly loved.

But with that comes the hard part....I believe that girls either loved him or loathed him, there was no in between. I also believed him to be quite bewitching in that he possessed more than one girl at a time but loved them all equally. His sights were never set on one lady, they were set on them all. With his enchanting smile, his captivating eyes and his lushish hair, face, fingers, toes, elbows....etc, his looks could take him to all oceans all over the world.

I do believe that he knew how to treat a lady and knew as much as he could about them but let's face it girls....NO MAN ever truly knows a woman! We all have that mysterious part about us that no man can ever figure out. So instead of the ever so famous...Mysterious Sirius...We are the ones that are truly mysterious to him!

Well, I personally feel that Sirius, while probably not an out-and-out flirt (I think J.K. once said that Sirius was too busy being a rebel to concentrate much on women) probably did use his looks to his advantage a little. My view is that rather than having his sights set on lots of girls, he used his amazing hotness *hem hem* to pick and choose. While James chased Lily for years, Sirius' targets probably changed according to which chic was the biggest thing on the block at the time.

I wish Sirius had lived and we could have seen him actually in love with somebody. There's an amazing fanfic I was following ages ago, called Ebb and Flow, on www.fictionalley.org about the love story of Sirius and an original character called Althea which you might want to check out (though it's R-Rated, so get away kids... ). It's an interesting take on Sirius really and truly in lurve.

Sirius beein' the most dangerous and pretty of the marauders he couldn't possibily have one lady at a time. He must have been the Romeo of the time. Conquering everyone's heart!

if anyone has read "Romancing Thoughts" by TiffanyT. on this site, it has an interesting depiction of just how Sirius was with the ladies. I've also seen a lot of fanart made on Photoshop and Paint and whathaveyou...and they always seem to depict him as this icon...not that I don't agree with the notion...i mean to say, if i went to school with him everyday, i would probably be drooling all over the place.

Anyway, i think he was very handsome and all the girls probably had crushes on him, but i kind of think he didn't really care, and was just using it as an ego feeder. I mean, he never really settled down with a girl like James...and they were tight and (i think) just as good looking as each other. I think that was one place where their personalities were different.

But, the bottom line is:
Sirius was a sexy beast.

I think that Sirius got a kick out of girls having crushes on him. I mean, sure he must've had a crush or two but, hello, Sirius is serious! Sirius is good-lookin', that's for sure. Maybe, he had a little charm for the ladies. Umm ... but I don't think he'd be serious with anyone ( Unless it's me! ). But, you never really know.

I think Sirius probably was a chick magnet! <(lol). However, he might not have liked all those girls. Sirius probly had a crush on a few, and being who he was, got them. By that i mean, girls love rebels! He was definately into the whole trouble thing. Over all, Girls likes him and he only liked a feww, but if he wanted, he could get whoever he wanted!

I can see Sirius as a ladies man. Handsome, absolutely, girls crushing on him left and right. Of course, Sirius would get cocky about it, with his lovely and gigantic ego. All girls would probably love him, and he'd probably dance from one to the other? Can't you see Sirius on a dance floor with one lady, spinning her off for another several times? can't help but laugh at that thought... but I agree with luv_snuffles... the bottom line is Sirius was is a sexy beast.

Defo I like everyone's ideas so far and generally I agree with the perspective. Sirius appeared to be ever so busy with rebelling against his family and messing with Snape and the Slytherins that he may have transformed this into his main concern -- which could translate into less time for serious romance.

From what we witnessed in OOTP, young Sirius was too busy being cool to notice the probably-many-girls who fell for his looks or his reputation. If I were to suppose, I'd say he probably dated quite a handful of females from different Houses, but never found someone worth settling for. And if he were to find that special someone, I'd agree that he would probably be dedicated and faithful and such; after all, his loyalty is one of his strongest traits.

Anyways, even though JK pretty much left this compartment in his life in the dark, maybe it's better this way. Sirius' mysterious nature only makes him more appealing, I'd say.

I would assume, that Sirius would stick with one girl, but for a very short time, because he would get bored with a long relationship. I also believe, that in his younger years, he would feel couragous and chaotic to cheat, therefor, he infact would. But he would not get caught.

Okay, this fanclub has over 300 members, correct? And maybe ... 30 of them are guys Everyone could easily say his smile and his hair and those eyes and that body build and ... what was I saying? RIGHT. I'm going with he had many girls around, but he didn't use not one of them. Maybe he had many girls with him but he dated only one of them at a time, and when he realized they didn't function then he just tried to look for someone who fit him better. I think Sirius liked a lot of girls. He's got the charm, talent, and good looks to make the girls want him () so he's gonna have oodles of fangirls. I think he had several girls but would never get serious with one of them. He is a ladies man after all!

I think Sirius probalby enjoyed the affections of many girls, but maybe secretively loved only one. But knowing Sirius, I'm sure he didn't mind being stared at by a lot of girls.

I think Sirius was a flirt. He knows the girls liked him, and he didn't mind it. Although i'm sure he got a little annoyed when they flocked around him like love sick little puppies. He knew he was popular, and liked to milk it. I also am sure that he was just like James in the respect that he was a bit of a show-off, and maybe the way he showed off was with the girls, not with Quidditch like James did.

Well, taking information from the books, Sirius was very good looking, he was a black, had black longish hair, and a marauder. He seemed really charming and pretty -cough- flirty -cough-

Even though JK doesn't relaly say much about realationships with girls, I think Sirius was definatly popular amoung the girls. But I don't think he was one to go after a good few at the once. He's an extreamly loyal friend to James and Remus, so I can only assume he would be towards one girl. So I think he'd only go after one, if any, and remain loyal to that lucky girl. He is after all, such a babe, heehee.

Personally, I think that Sirius was a player as you all mentioned in that he flirted with several ladies at once. He had the brains, looks, charming attitude... all the things that would attract females to him. However, he one thing that would turn all those girls away in an instant: being obnoxious.

Seriously though, I think that his obnoxious attitude is what got him into trouble with the ladies. If he was so popular with the ladies, then why didn't he have a relationship or get married? Was he in love with Lily Evans, but knew his best friend liked her, so he sacrificed his own love?

Sirius is definitely the type who ALWAYS has more than one lady at a time. With everything he has going for him the women would definitely flock in his direction and being ever the charmer, he no doubt didn't have the heart to turn any of them away. I see him as the biggest heartthrob of all.
