Beyond the Veil
Smooth, silky nothingness envelopes me.
Dark, black sky as far as I can see.
Where am I?
I reach into the darkness but nothing is there.
I cry out, but no one is there to hear.
Where am I?
My mind races in its jumbled thoughts.
How did I earn this fateful lot?
Where am I?
A wind rushes over my body.
I see form; a familiar effigy.
Who are you?
There is a memory. A moment in time
Is creeping forth from the depths of my mind.
What is it?
A flash of light; a deep, sharp pain.
This little thing has become my bane.
What happened?
I laughed. I laughed with despair.
The brevity of the moment is nothing but unfair.
What happened?
I fell. I fell and to my back I collapsed.
And then my consciousness lapsed.
What is next?
And here am I. Alone.
So far from what I’ve known and yet…
I’m home.

The Evolution
What happened to Sirius?
That boy of arrogance,
of cruelty, of in-tolernance,
For, when I last saw you
you were handsome, but cruel
smiling, but egocentric
And now, as I stare into your
bony, waxy face, you got what
you deserved, but your a changed man..
an evolution
You no longer need a wand
to grab everybody's attention
you only need your brain, and that
glare of yours to captivate my mind
I've never seen you tease a single soul
since I last saw you, I've never seen you
conjure a hex, or a jinx, since your younger years.
You are a changed man Sirius, that man
has captivated hundreds of fans, hundereds of people
and started up even a Fan Club, to admire
the changed person, we know as Sirius Black.
But now, as I have had a recent experience with all this trauma
and seen you, and met you long before your dying day
I last saw your face, exasperated, scared, gliding under
that veil, I cried when you dissappeared, my life
was no more use, my love.

Sirius Black--he is my man.
He was also known as Padfoot or Snuffles
In Animagus form, swift was the way he ran
He could be a dog, a big black one

Okay, I'll admit: I s-u-c-k at poetry!!! I couldn't think of anything else because I also suck at rhyming...and all other aspects of poetry. All of y'alls poems rock, while mine doesn't...
