Hi everyone!
Okay, I will say it, I am 41. I have 2 kids - ages 5 an 20 (wow, my son is older than some of you.lol). I have been a stay at home mom since I had brain surgery almost 3 years ago (everythings fine now). I was a Gary Oldman fan long before I was a Harry Potter fan. Gary is the reason I saw PoA actually but once I did, I was hooked! Sirius is my favorite character not only because of Gary but because I have always been a sucker for the tragic and misunderstood people. Everyone was totally against him and he was innocent the whole time. There is so much depth to this character. The movies barely even touched on it. It's a shame JKR had to kill of such a great character. It seemed pretty senseless at the time but book 7 has shown that it was necessary (bummer). | |

I am Prachi. I turned 16 in August this year and I have been an SS member for a little over 2 and a half years and I live in Australia. About to finish grade 11. *sigh* How time passes.
Anyways. The reason I luff Sirius? because he is SIRIUS! I actually fell in love with him quite a long time ago, but I didn't join SBFC for some strange reason and after a while, I pretty much vanished from the FC part of SS. *cough found another home cough* I still live in my other home, but I hope I will stay an active member in the FCs too. 
Okay. I was supposed to be talking about why I love Sirius. Ahm. Let's continue. Yes. So I love him because he is:
a) An awesome friend
b) An awesome human being
c) His animagus (sp?) is a DOG! I mean. How cool is that!
d) Because he is SIRIUS!
Ahm. Yes.
That'll be all. I think I have made my point. I hope.

I haven't been reading the books for long, infact I onyl started reading them last summer and I'm just about to finish the Oder Of The Phoenix. Which I'm dreading as I saw the film first and was SO shocked at what happened! It didnt' hit me for like 5 minutes! But anyway yeah that's why I've joined :]
Sirius Black is my FAVOURITE character ever! I'm not really a big fan of the mian characters, cause my other favourites are like Stan Shunpike and Sir Cadogen as theyre so funny. I think to sum up why I love Sirius in one word would probably be... CHARMING.
He's such a great guy, he's an amazing friend, REALLY loyal, I think it's so cute how much he cares for Harry and... well, he's a total babe really :p | |

Wahoo! I just found out that I'm the 500th SBFC member! Quite frankly, I'm on the top of the world
I was in 8th grade when I first read the Potter books, and by that time the first three were out. PoA was, and remains my favourite of the series (along with Half Blood Prince, actually) primarily because it had Sirius in it.
I used to be quite active on SS until I joined college, and then got really busy (waves at Siriusly_in_Love) I'm almost done with it now, and came back to find the fanclubs in place

Hello, everyone! Many of you know me, I'm sure, and may be wondering why it has taken so long for me to join Sirius' fan club, after all being a Black and all that, LOL! Well, it is only because I was taking on a few FCs at a time and definitely wanted to make this my next on the list (this is sweet 16 for me)! I'll hit them all in due time! I am a rabid poster, so once I join something I'm totally committed to the cause - yay!
My reason for joining this one? Sirius is a great character, loved him as a dog, I wish he had lived longer, and all you have to do is look at him and figure out why a girl like me might want to join his club! Know what I mean? I think you do!
