Hello SBFC members

It gives me the honor to announce that SBFC will pass its ONE YEAR mark on March 27, 2007. And in this honor we have created graphics & other fun festives for our members to enjoy in due celebrations.

Today, March 27th, is our 1 year anniversay, and as a birthday treat, the SBFC would like to extend an invitation to all its members to get involved in the celebration

We have already opened Anniversary Tribute to Sirius Black and 101 or more Reasons Why SBFC Rocks Our Socks, but stay tuned for more!


Another important aspect is that for the following days, we may close some of the game threads , so as to apply to the new FC rules, which state that only 4 game threads can be open at one time. So don't fret if you see your favourite game closed these days

Hello SBFC'ers,

Its been a while since i made an announcement and since I'm at it, did you check out the new released pictures in our lovely news section? Sirius ones were AMAZING, hopefully we can make lots of graphics out of them for our own enjoyment.


So onto the real announcement,

As of today i have resigned my position as one of the SBFC Presidents, I still love you and Sirius and I will always cherish all my memories as President forever and ever. I've moved on to become one of the Sponsors for the club and since my love to my husband Sirius will never faint, I'll still be around to help Lissy and Cat keep the club's everlasting beat. We all know we are the best :SBFC:



As i step aside, it means you get to have a new President for the club


LadyNerd (Stacey), our Vice-President has kindly accepted the position. Please give her a warm welcome into the new position, I'm sure she will be an extra-ordinare asset into the line of Presidency for this club.

Fanclub Fanfic

The month of July is just around the corner and we need a little help to kick off the celebration. It’s time to put on your Thinking Cap and gather your black rimmed Harry Potter glasses for a month of fun and writing. Being part of the Snitchseeker Fan Clubs, the Admins and Mods have come up with a bit of fun with spectacular roles for all Fan Club members to enjoy and take part in.

As you know, Deathly Hallows is the seventh and final novel from the Harry Potter series. What if you, the members, could write the final book the way you see it or the way you would like it to end? Well, the time has come to hear your side of the story as told by your favorite Fan Club character in ‘Fanclub Fanfic’.

What we need from the Fan Clubs right now is for you, as a team, to agree on a topic or storyline for your character. You may participate in more than one Fan Club, it is all up to you, just as long as you have fun. Start a thread within the characters forum or have a discussion in the thread and have everyone post their thoughts and contributions to the story, to see where the novel would start and end.

Hello Fanclubs! It is about time you guys got another event! Well with July being a big Potter month, there is not a better time. As a Fanclub, you will be able to create your own version of Deathly Hallows. However, it will not be any ordinary version, you will have to write it from your characters perspective. If you play a cast member, then you do the character they play, if your character is deceased you can bring them back or have it looking down on the situation as a passed on ghost or the likes. This is not a competition, but some fun for all Fanclubs. Here is some guidelines:

1. Each fanfiction should be at least 7 chapters long or more. Within these chapters you must tell a complete story and conclude the Harry Potter series.

2. You can help all of your Fanclubs! and even share ideas throughout all of the Fanclubs. However, we do want to see a variety of stories coming from you all.

3. Not all fanclubs have to participate, it is completely optional but can lead to rewards for your fanclub.

4. It is completely up to the fanclub to arrange and organise their fanfiction. Who writes what etc.

5. Your fanfiction can be of any genre and we would like to keep it as cannon as possible, however we would love a bit of crazy additions to the story.

6. All fanfiction and SS rules apply. Your fanclubs fanfiction will be of SS rating Sa9+

Hello SBFC members! A discussion thread on the Fanclub Fanfic has been started and can be found here. It would be nice for everyone to check out and post a comment on your views for the upcoming event. We are SBFC and a huge fan club here on SS so lets get our wonderful and Sirius brains together and see what everyone has to say.

For those of you who have been waiting on the SBFC Fan Fiction, you may view the first chapter here. Each day, a new chapter will be posted every day until the final seventh chapter.

The story is placed around the final Harry Potter book, Deathly Hallows and the members views on if Sirius were to re-enter the Wizarding World, how would he do it? Some of the SBFC members give their views on our beloved character, Sirius Black and and his quest to seek out help for his Godson, Harry.

I dont know if i'm allowed to post this. But since the GOFC is merged in with the SBFC:

The GOFC is looking for a co-pressie and a secretary. PM siriusly_loving_gary [Christa] by the 9th of November.

Because there hasn't been a previous announcement about this, I'm pasting our Fan Club Admin's new formulation of the Discussion/Chat Rules. PLEASE pay attention to this information when posting in the main discussion thread, guys

The purpose for the new rules is to let everyone know what is allowed and what is not. The chat threads in the fan clubs will be changed, if not already, to Discussion threads. The purpose of this is to discuss different things going on with the character/actor, since the fan club is after all about that character/actor. Chatting is still allowed but to a minimum. As long as everyone posts about their favorite character/actor, they can also talk to their friends.

Presidents have the right to delete a post that does not contain something pertaining to the discussion at hand. So if you see your post was deleted, it was because the rules were not followed.

We, the Fan Club Mods are back once more seeking help from all fan clubs. What we are in search off are questions produced by you, the members, taken from the Harry Potter characters and actors within the movies and the books. All fan clubs do not have to participate but it would be a fun thing to start and get members involved in and get them active once more.

The fan clubs can come up with as many questions about their character or actor as they can, the more the better. Also, try and keep answers short, but if it is something that is hard to spell or is slightly longer than usual, create a tip, or ‘Tips’, that would help someone along, such as:

Please keep it spam free as we will be using the questions elsewhere on the site and a clean thread is easier to work with than a dirty one. Once you believe to have enough questions and are ready to turn them in, please send them to me, LadyNerd, and I will take care of them and get them to the proper place for more fun and excitement.

• Try and have as many short answers as possible so that it makes it easier on the members who are playing to type in the answers. If it is something that is slightly long or hard speller, create tips such as this:

SBFC Games Announcement

To encourage diversity within the club, we have just started using a rotating game system, which allows us to play different games, but still follow the 4 games per fanclub rule.

2 new games have been added, an Elimination Game & a 101 Game. Meanwhile, Sirius Likes and The ABC's of Sirius have been closed momentarily. Which doesn't mean they won't be opened again.

Activity Officer Needed!

The SBFC requires an Activity Officer, one of the most challenging and exciting positions available in this FC, as the SBFC is always involved in one event or another. Hence, the persons applying for this position would ideally be responsible, active, and creative.

If you feel that that description suits you, please go ahead and PM Blackened with the answer to the following questions:

1. How long have you been a member of the SBFC?
2. What are the suggestions for activities/events that the club should host?
3. How responsible would you say you are as far as FC positions are concerned? (on a scale of 1-10, 10 highest)
4. How many hours are you on SS daily?
