Stacey, I wanted to ask something about The Scarlet Letter: does the film have a happy end? I've read the book and the end is very sad, but I've recently read a few film reviews and they always say that the end was changed. I don't wanna wait until I get the DVD myself ...

I think that the ending is good but I can say that the movie is nothing like the book...I hope that helps....and it is one to own because Gary looks *blows kiss* in it!! *whooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaa*

Stacey: Thanks! If the film really is so different than I still got hope for Gary's character. I'm gettin Scarlett Letter on DVD either tomorrow or on Friday (depends on how fast the mail is) and I just can't wait.

Oh dear, another double post from me - but I can't help it today. There's something I just have to share with my fellow Gary fans.

I just finished watching The Scarlet Letter for the very first time and I must say that it's an awesome film! Completely different than the book, but still amazing - especially Gary was gorgeous. If anyone would like to dicuss the film here I'm always willing to post.

Gary was an absolute dream in that movie!!! His eyes *sigh* were the bluest that I had ever seen them!!! And his hair *sighs again* wow!!! I am not keen on guys with long hair but he is one that is HOT in my book with long hair or short....either way he looks *blows kiss* yummy!!!

I wouldn't say that he looks yummy, rather delicious.

I watched the film again today and ... *also blows kiss* Absolutely awesome. I really don't know why some people don't like this film *shakes head*. Anyway, my favourite scene is probably in the end, when Dimmesdale shouts out that he's the child's father and that he loves Hester and that in God's eyes he's her husband. That's an awesome scene. And Gary is .... like I said delicious.

Valera I have to say that the graphics are super but there are a couple of pictures that are not SS material (the first and last ones). But I have to say that they are just.....YUMMY!!!!

i haven't watched The Scarlett Letter yet, the film was banned in my country when it first came out and the DVD version is all cencored up.
so i probably have to find other means though, hehe.
oh is the movie really good? how many out of ten?

Oh Valera it is okay!!! I have to say that you are absolutely wonderful with your graphics and I will definately credit you and your hard work!!!!

As far as Gary goes in The Scarlet Letter, I give him an 11 because he is just soooooo HOT in that movie!!! Censored or not, I would still watch it because I am sure that they only cut out one part and it was not that good anyways *ish not a big Demo Moore fan* but the rest of it is wonderful!!!

It's too bad the film cencored for you Here it's no problem at all. We got a PG-12 rating for the film, and I can only think of one scene that would be cencored - agreeing with Stacey, that one scene was actually very kitschy, I'd say, like in a typical romance.

My rating: maybe 11.5 - because Gary's absolutely awesome - and especially wonderful is the scene in which he christens his child in prison *awwww*, and the scene in the end, when he shouts out that he's the child's father and that he loves Hester.
