She may be small, but don't let her fool you. This woman will not let one person walk over her, and she is far from ever being a passive person. She is down to earth and very argumentative, never afraid to snap at the person who dares tell her what do to in a bossy manner or if she simply doesn't like you. Some people are afraid of her, which only fuels her pride. She has been married for eleven years -surprisingly- with two sons, and has been a death eater since 1967, even if she was already working in the Ministry. Filthy mudbloods. What are they good for?

Appearance:
Red, straight hair that falls a bit under her shoulders, piercing blue eyes and a young, very pale face. She has medium height and is quite thin.


Background:
Though she was born in India, Kali is a British girl at heart for her parents and all her ancestors were born somewhere in British territory, most of them in England to be precise. So why does she live in that country? Well, due to two factors: 1) her parents had moved there once they got a promotion from the ministry; 2) after living in India for 25 years she has created roots in the country and it’s hard for her to consider leaving it and also, the fact that she’s about to get married doesn’t help either. Due to the fact of being an only child, Kali was sent to the best wizarding school in the area and eventually graduated as the best in her year and in a matter of months got a job in India’s Wizard Ministry in the department that’s the equivalent to Britain’s Department of Mysteries. Though she has the ability to ascend to a higher job within her working field, it seems that she is unable to do so due to an age law that will only let her ‘move up’ at the age of 35. This is one of the reasons why she took, without thinking twice, the offer to go to Britain and work there for as long as she was needed there.

Personality:
Kali’s personality is perhaps a bit difficult to define in a few words. She is, without a single doubt, a true fighter: a fighter for her independence, for her family’s and friends happiness and for whatever she believes to be a good cause. She tends to plan everything beforehand and doesn’t like surprises that much. In fact, she can’t even handle surprise birthday parties without getting angry at whoever planned it later. She is extremely cold towards those who she dislikes and, if in a bad mood, she’s capable of doing quite some horrible things to those people. Well, let’s just say that she is too sensitive for her own good, and she tends to bottle everything up.

Still, don’t take me wrong; Kali is a very loyal and fierce friend. She’d find a way to go to the moon if someone she cared for needed it. She is also a very good listener but not so good at giving advice. She is also a wonderful worker since each time she is given a project, she works on it with her soul, heart and body, even if that means having to spent a whole week without barely sleeping.

Very wavy brown hair (though she prefers to use it straight) that falls a bit over her shoulders, tanned skin and sweet hazel eyes. She is slender and is a bit shorter than most women.



Personality:
Just like most people in her family, Rosa (as she prefers to be called) is a bubbly girl who is unable to understand workaholics for she is purely in love with parties and adventure of each and every kind. To tell the truth, she is so in love with this kind of life that she tends to arrive late to work, make at least one new friend per week, have a new boyfriend every month (she believes that ‘guys were made so that girls can have fun’) and go to a different party almost every night. And why does she do this? Because, in her point of view, life is too short to be spent with worries, spent without trying something new every now and then.

You’re probably wondering how she can maintain her job. Well, that’s simple. Anna is a pure genius when it comes to finding ways to get out of trouble and once she starts working she does so in a way that makes most people stare at her with her mouth wide open, especially if they know about her obsession.

Background:
Rosa’s parents are both muggles, and so are her sister and older brother. Her youngest sister and the girl’s twin brother, however, are also wizards like her. Sadly for her, though, they only entered her school on her last year there and so she wasn’t able to see her siblings’ progressions concerning school, something she had always desired to watch.

Still, with or without her brother and sister, Anna was always one of the top students in her year, even though she rarely touched and frequently was in detention for talking during classes. Due to her bubbly-ness and to her constant need of seeing something new, it took her some years to actually decide to settle down and start to work. During these years she spent with uncertainty she travelled all over Europe and to some other random countries. After this, when she returned home, she had fully decided what her job would be: she’d be an Unspeakable. When she was starting to get bored once more with her job, she found the opportunity to go to Britain which she accepted without thinking about it.

Nickname: Ang (used only for closest friends)
Age: 29
Hair: Honey blonde, wavy, though usually has a bit of uncontrollable frizz. Her hair is slightly below shoulder length and she can usually be found wearing it in either a loose bun or ponytail.
Eyes: Sea blue
Height: 5’9”
General Appearance: Angela’s frame is tall and tends to leans towards the slender side, which is both an advantage and a curse when it comes to squeezing into small spaces required by her job.
Clothing: She mostly wears comfortable clothing, considering that most of her work required such attire.

Miscellaneous: Some have said that Angela talks too quickly, but she, however, thinks that others are simply not accustomed to this form of speech.

Personality: Angela is a warm, friendly person, having patience that some claim to envy. Of course, with the job that she had, patience was most certainly a virtue. From years of a hard childhood, she’s managed to create a sort of shield against people. It’s easy to get to know her, but she tends to shy away when a relationship begins to move to another level. She’s a relatively quick thinker to match that quick mouth of hers. She won’t hesitate to speak her opinion, even if it disagrees with the opinion of someone else.

Background: Angela was born and raised in Paris, France. Her schooling was less than stellar until one day in her sixth year when they began to study curse breaking. The field immediately sparked her interest, and led to research and hard work until finally, she was offered an apprenticeship to Egypt. However, she was forced to turn it down per her parent’s ruling, even though she was technically an adult in wizarding terms.

On her day after her 20th birthday, she left her parent’s home, on less than friendly terms, and traveled to Spain. She had been there upon a trip some time ago and had discovered that she enjoyed the atmosphere and culture of the area. After spending some time there, she was once more offered the apprenticeship after she had contacted the head of the program. Quite excited, she immediately left for Egypt where she was taught the basics and more under the guide of her mentor. Once leaving the program, she discovered that she had an almost unnatural talent for the art of curse-breaking, able to sit and unravel the complicated spells for hours at a time.

After some time had passed, she had caught the notice of the Britian Ministry of Magic. A contact here, a few decisions, and she was on her way, unable to pass up such a chance.

Personality: Gavin, right off the bat, is very spacey. He hardly pays attention to things right in front of his face - unless he finds it interesting. He'll get so bored at things that he'll do something spontaneous - like playing with fire, and, being the absent-mind that he is, will probably accidently set something really on fire. He cannot compliment someone without saying an insult in between. If he thinks you're pretty, then he'll probably tell you that you're "not the ugliest thing he's ever seen, but pretty darn close."
He's brutally honest - so brutal that he cannot seem to get a girlfriend and stay with one. They get so upset with the things he says that they threaten him and burst into tears.
He'll probably be the most loyal person you'll ever meet, however. Once you become friends with him - unless you get p.o.ed by his trying-not-to-be-mean-but-somehow-succeeding-in-being-cruel attitude - then he'll back you up when you need help. He's very over-protective, but that can be a good thing, too. He's not overly protective where you can't speak to someone else without his permission, but he's protective that when someone upsets you, he'll make them pay. Despite him being absent-minded, he has a good long-term memory. You won't expect him to remember things but he does - it just takes him a little while to think it back up again.

Backround: Gavin was born in Craiova, Romania, but moved to England when he was three. There, he grew up in London, England. He has a year-younger brother and two half-sisters. His mother doesn't speak much - only to Gavin's younger brother. No one knows why, she just ignores everyone else. His father has gotten in trouble with the ministry, which is why Gavin couldn't attend Hogwarts until his fifth year.

Personality: To put it frankly, Daito is not very nice at all. Actually, he's rather cold-hearted and very sarcastic. He likes things to go his way and if you screw up his plans then he won't be happy. And when he's not happy, you better watch out. He's very unpredictable - which involves him completely blowing up, or being rather calm and collected. He's one of those shady/suspcious-looking people - he'd sell your secrets out in a heartbeat if someone offered something valuable. Actually, he'd sell you in a heartbeat to make a bit of money. At first, in order to gain your trust, Daito will try to charm and persuade you - which he tends to think he does very well. Once he gains your trust, theres no telling what he will do.
Of course, he if does like you - which is rare. Normally he'd use you - then he'll keep your trust and actually be a very useful friend. Useful as in having connections.

History: Dai is half-Japanese and half-Swedish. His mother is Swedish and his father is Japanese. He has an older sister and nine-year old sister. Even though he's cruel to his "friends", he cares very deeply for his family. He won't show it and he won't admit it, but the random trips he takes, which he refers as his 'important business', is really visiting his sisters.


Other: Daito speaks fluent Japanese, Swedish and English.

Personality:Orion is not one to be double crossed. His serious attitude is that of his father's, his mother will tell quickly that it was not from her personality. Orion can be a pushy person at times but is normally a kind person.


Background: Orion was born in Isreal, his father is German and his mother French. At the age of eight (8), Orion's parents moved from Isreal to Britain for the one fact that they knew their son possessed magical powers and the only school deemed worthy to them was Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Once Orion received his letter to enter the school, his father's attitude wanted nothing more than Orion to finish with top NEWT grades to enter the Ministry. Once graduated, Orion decided to take his schooling skills and put them to good use, within the Ministry.

Personality: He is one that loves to talk with his hands, it is his only means to have his point come across the correct way, with feeling. His deep voice makes it sound as though he always knows what he is talking about but beware, he might not know everything but don't tell him otherwise. He pronounces his syllables as clearly as he can so that everyone will be able to understand him in some sort of fashion. He considers himself on the Dark side of life and is not one to come out during the day. Do not cross him or he might have to get his cane after you.

Background: He may have been around for a few years but he knows people and places. He came to know Tom Riddle from a local Dark Wizards shop named Borgins and Burkes. Dark artifacts were things he loved to collect and sometimes Tom would send the wrong things home that Pugsley just would not completely understand. He has several things stashed away at his home all collecting dust and spider webs.

His high society comes with a very sharp edge. No one seems to trust him but they do not let him know otherwise. They consider him a member of the MoM but do not let him inside the walls very often, unless everything has been put away and out of sight. Look out for this man for he may have eyes for whatever you possess.

Personality With her mothers looks and her fathers intelligence Selene is the epitome of beauty and brains. Only recently has she truly embraced her new found beauty that has slowly come with age. From a very young age she excelled at defensive charms and curse breaking, a sure sign to her parents that she was witch to be reckoned with.

Selene comes from a pureblood family but absolutely detests the prejudices that certain individuals hold towards half bloods and muggle borns. That is one topic that is best left untouched when in her presence. Though she tries to understand other peoples feelings towards the subject she has pretty much made up her mind on the issue, and is firm in her belief that her way of thinking is the right (and only) way of thinking. Aside from her stern beliefs in equality for all within the wizarding world, she is a kind and generous person and works hard as an Unspeakable within the ministry to maintain stability in her world.

As sweet and generous as she may be it is best not to be fooled by her calm and friendly demeanor. Within Selene resides an astute and perceptive individual that isn’t afraid to do what is right no matter what harm might come her way. She is stubborn at times and can be a bit of challenge which in her opinion can be a blessing and a curse.

Upon receiving invitation to work at the British Ministry of Magic within the Department of Mysteries Selene had her reservations on whether relocating would be wise; but after much thought and a good talking to from her father, she decided to go. Her hesitation came as a surprise because Selene isn’t one to dilly-dally.

Personality: Ariston is the typical geek, with thick black framed glasses and a tight belt around his waist. He will not move without his Bonsai plant. Grown much attached to it, he carries it around with him everywhere and speaks with it ever since he got shunted out of a social life for being different, the bonsai plant is the only thing he trusts and calls it by the name Victor.

When nervous or shy, Ariston rubs his nose unconsciously. Overall he’s very shy in which stutters often while fidgeting with his glasses. He’s a bit rough around the edges and doesn’t believe anyone would want to be his friend unless to use him for their special needs. White shirt, black sweater and trousers is his karma. You wouldn’t see him in anything different.

History: Born and Raised in Greece. Ariston comes from a pureblood family with a streak lineage, a few of his ancestors were known as political rebels or vendettas. Thus, it restricted his education to certain schools and work areas after graduating with exceptional grades. Lucky for him, his relatives from his mother’s side found ways and connections to put use of his mind though job status in itself wasn’t very reputable. Working as an archeologist, in the Macedinian mountains, studying caves and runic symbols from oldest of times.

History: Born and Raised in Russia. Zoya was born into a muggle family, very little does she remember of them since she was abducted by bounty hunters during inter battles, raised by them for a period of time learning tactics no child should learn then moved into magical school once her powers developed. Fascinated by magic, she integrated herself into history along with Astronomy. Post school, she tried to test her knowledge in Astronomy, working with a local yet genial Astronomer perusing the way of stars and heavens.

Personality: Serious, friendly, and about always makes time for small talk. Considers his employees part of his family, and goes out of his way to make sure their comfortable around their work. And his work place is about the only place one would find him to talk or chat about what he’s working on. Other than that, people think he sits behind his office doing paper work. Quite the delusion he makes for all the success and effort he likes not to take credit for in bringing the Department to where it is today.

History: Rasputin has been department head for over 5 years. Before that he was working on various projects within each sub department for years before getting promoted to division head.

He was born into a pureblood family, and like many young brits he was sent to Hogwarts School of Witchcarft and Wizardy. After Hogwarts he took off a few years traveling the world. Once he was back to his homeland, the first thing he did was apply to the department of mysteries at the Ministry of Magic. Little did people know about what he did, encountered, or saw.

Rasputin Brown was seated on a stool eyeing the noas while one hand crossed his chest and the other laid on it while his fingers rubbed his temple. Six of his unspeakables gone missing over the last three months, no where to be found with no evidence to their disappearances or any sort of injuries forcing him to seal this project off the files and mark it as a top secret. His new team should be arriving any minute now, he was optimistic, very to say the least that his new assembled team will be able to extend their learning’s and hopefully break the mystery.

Behind the noas, you’d find a huge, wall wide, blackboard. On the board you’ll see all sorts of scribbles and notes from previous unspeakables whom have worked in this room. Theories, pointers, and warnings. The room is fairly empty, with a few desks scattered around, stools for seating, and bewitched book cases (filled with books).

Rasputin is pretty much lost in his own thoughts as you enter the room, but when your close enough he looks at you with a smile and a greeting in his hoarse tone, “Hello & Welcome to England. My name is Rasputin Brown. Nice to meet you” extending his hand for a handshake.

Family: perpetrators of Dark Arts, said to be followers of Voldemort

Personality: All his life he’s been directed by his parents in this and that. If beforehand, in his earlier years, he would follow their orders, as the natural thing to do, recent times have seen Magnus rebel against this so-called authority, and taking the reigns of his existence into his own hands. His mother and father want him in the ranks of the Dark Lord, but he wishes to hear nothing of that, and has dismissed the idea completely. Socially, he was always seen relatively well by all sides, and that is due to his polite and often sociable manner through-and-through.

Began his career in the Dept. of Mysteries in the Swedish MoM, where he worked his way up to Junior Head of Dept. That is where he first heard tales of the fabled naos and the fascination that it exerts on so many people, especially those in whose hands it ought to never fall. As a result, he has spent months researching everything he could find out about it, and even travelled to Romania at one point.

The minute his Head of Dept. made note of the summoning of the team of experts to deal with the case, Magnus decided he was the man for the job. While a Ministry official in his own country, he presents himself as nothing more than an expert in Archaeology and History. His family background notwithstanding, he maintains a certain air of mystique.

Personality: Adam is, there's no other word for it, a crab. Yes, he is. He's cranky, grumpy, serious, has a temper and is pessimistic. He loves to hate people, more often that not. He's anti-social, except when it comes to professional/business-like matters. There's no stopping him when he decides on something, even when once could say that a person had given it his all to try and persuade him. He can be friendly, but only on the rarest of moments. He sees fault in every little thing, but tries to give as much constructive criticism as he can (often turning out to be insults most of the time).
Despite his attitude, however, he has an undying passion for his work. He's very diligent and a good listener (even though he nags every so often someone utters a word).

Personality: Claudia is the objective yet fun-loving kind of person. She knows when to be serious and when to have fun. She can be a bit clumsy and careless at times, though. She always makes it a point to sort out her priorities, even when sometimes it never really works out anyway. She grabs opportunities as they come, and isn't afraid to take risks. However, that sometimes proves to be a problem when things don't go as planned, and then she gets frustrated. Her frustration usually lasts a day or two before it subsides. She also tends to be quite frank, which often lead to misunderstandings between colleagues, but she doesn't care because she knows what she was thinking and that's all that really matters to her.

The end of her ponytail swept the nape of her neck as she walked briskly through the British Ministry of Magic towards her destination of the Department of Mysteries. She, being Angela Kohan, native of France, and adventurer of the sands and st
