MacAlister’s Academy for The Magically Inclined is a prestigious, private wizarding school for those students who have sauntered down the incorrect past and whose parents can actually afford to send them off to be counseled back into the path of righteousness. In other words, it is an expensive fancy boot camp in the middle of a rocky island near Ireland.

Spotted with several hills, all covered with luscious green grass it serves as the home for not only the Academy but for the largest amount of Common Welsh Green dragons in the world. This RP takes place with a sudden congregation of students and staff before the Fountain of the Silent Cry where the two remaining dragons which call the expansive hilly grounds of the Isle of Virtue their home announce the sudden disappearance of each and every dragon but themselves.

Keep in mind that these are only rough layouts of how things are. I will include some brief descriptions of places now but for the most part you can all just use your imagination.
The Gates:

When you first reach the Academy the massive black gates greet you. As you enter you are greeted by two security guards. They take your belongings, pat you down in search of forbidden objects and accompany you down the cobbled path surrounded by several tall towers on which atop lay replicas of the Common Welsh Green dragon, staring you down.

Groundskeeper’s hut:

It’s odd shape makes it look like it has been pieced together by different sized pieces, all made of a different material and glued together with spellotape. Wondering further, before you even reach the door, the stench of codfish and incense hits your nostrils nearly knocking you backwards.

Main Building:

The stone from which the main building composed of three floors and two towers was built is onyx speckled with grey lines here and there. Massive cherry wood double doors open as you enter. To your right are several pegs in which you hang your heavy cloaks, used for the winter and on rainy days. Underneath the peg are several rain boots in different sizes. To your left is the staircase leading to the other floors. Straight ahead there is an open set of doors in which you can see several round tables with chairs. That is the cafeteria.

Well, it all depends on what you choose. I'm going to answer your questions and I hope you don't mind but they're good questions so I'll add them and my answers to the main posts in case others are having the same doubts.

First of, MacAlister's is something like a boot
camp. You take your normal lessons like you would at Hogwarts except the school is considerably smaller and there are strict rules. You are not allowed to leave the premises at all unless your parents come to pick you up. You are not to be wondering outside of the main building or the dormitories past 6:30. Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 7:30. If you are late to the cafeteria you will get none. Lunch is served from 11:30 to 12:30 it goes the same for breakfast, if you are late there will be no food until dinner which is served from 4:30 to 5:30.

The school's age limit is from 14-18. You don't have to use your school charrie as there are no houses at MacAlister's but if you want to RP that your charrie was previously from Hogwarts but because of bad behavior or whatever other reason he/she was sent to MacAlister's that is fine.

You do not need to RP your charrie coming up to the gates or anything of that sort seeing as your charrie should have already started. I have not posted the main post but the action will start with all of the students gathered near the Fountain of the Silent Cry which is out in the ground on the left side of the gates, surrounded by several slabs of stone. =) So for your RP sample you can basically RP whatever you want seeing as the RP itself has not yet begun.


Boys' Uniform:




Navy blazer. White shirt. Red tie. Khaki/Beige colored pants. Shoes either black dressy shoes or white slip ons allowed.

Girls' Uniform:



Same rules apply for the shoes, blazer, shirt and tie. Skirt is a plaid skirt, mostly red with green, yellow, brown and navy colored stripes.

- Please try to stay as active as possible. If you disappear make sure you catch up when you do get back. I know life keeps us busy when we least expect it but don't just drop out FOREVER. Post, even if it is to go: "ABUH? I'M LOST!11!ONEONE"

Height: Rather short, 5'8" He tends to be shorter than a lot of the girls in his class.
Build: He's pretty small. Shortish, tiny frame. He doesn't have much muscle to him.
Appearance:
Casual with a hint of old school punk-rock. He likes belts, not that he needs them. Various t-shirts, band shirts, normal jeans. He has a snake bite piercing but it's his only piercing. And yeah, he wears eyeliner. What's wrong with that?

Personality: Nolan tends to keep to himself rather a lot. He's got his friends and he'll confide in them, but he doesn't always strike up random conversation. He's perfectly content sitting side by side with his friends in silence. Still, if you need to talk, Nolan is the guy to come to. Quite, contemplative, and honest. He'll tell you the truth, even if he feels you don't want to hear it. Still, he's a good friend to keep by your side, because if he gets angry, he gets angry. He'll tell people how it is and yell if the need is. He's quirky and every now and then will pipe up with odd bits of information. In general, he gets along with most people. He's rather reserved but can break out of his shell now and then. And, on more than one occasion he's been known to be pretty playful.

Extra: Nolan is the Ravnclaw Prefect and best friends with Mazzie. He has a pet named Dylan, a white and grew pawed and earred cat.

Height: 5'7" She manages to be shorter than her fown best friend.
Build: She has a small build. Nothing tiny, though. She's slender, though rather normal sized. She certainly isn't flat stomached or perfectly toned. Pffft this girl hates excercising.
Appearance:
She definetly likes the old school style, too. She loves hoodies and jackets and will wear them with anything, even skirts that it wouldn't go with. Matching clothes is no matter to her. She loves to pair off her grey hoodies with her school uniform. She tends to steal Nolan's belts often. Accesories are her best friend; bracelets, necklaces, earrings, barrettes. Flashy things. And yet, she disdains purses. With a passion.

Personality: Mozzie makes up for Nolan's lack of noise. She talks and talks and talks. And seems to never shut up. She's hyper and eailsy excited and tends to be a bit daft on observations. She likes noise and commotion, playing music turned up so loud it pounds in her body. She loves to dance where there's no sound and make people laugh. She's not popular or anything, but she's got a good personality, in her opionion. While she's not the greatest to go to for advice, she's the type of girl to go to if you need to do something fun and get stuff off your mind.

Extra: Nolan is her best friend and closest confidant. Her only pet is a small brown owl named Tiny Tot. She comes from a family of five siblings, she being the only girl and the second youngest of them all.

Appearance:
Tristan has a very disheveled look. He doesn’t often brush his hair and he wears his clothes rumpled now and then. Large eyes that are often hidden behind his dark hair. A deep dimple in his left cheek.

Personality: Your typical moody, broody boy. Tristan is quiet and tends to prowl. He doesn’t make friends easily, mostly because he’s a bit on the blunt side and has trouble getting along nicely. He has a soft side that he displays to those who endure his bad attitude though and to those friends he gets along well and is really loyal. Still. If he catch him on a bad day, try to just avoid him.

Boo is tiny but she makes up for it with her loud personality, which seems to be a physical description of hers. She loves ribbons and all things shiny or sparkly. She loves leggings and boots and Converse and anything cute. Japanese items, kitties, froggies, etc. Now and then she wears thin wire rimmed glasses.

Personality: The first thing you’ll note about Boo is that she’s loud. Not in voice but in personality. She seems to be flashy and attention driven and especially vain. She loves her appearance and checks it often and makes a lot of comments about herself. She’s quite confident, though don’t let that fool you. Deep down, even Boo has some personal issues with herself. She’s prone to lying if she’s bored and wants to make trouble, but fortunately she doesn’t bore easily. One would think she has ADD with her SPARKLE SHINY OOOOHHHH distraction. She’s blunt and sometimes can be mean (and doesn’t even realize it). She’s kind of dense, though, and won’t always get the joke. Still, she likes to immerse herself in people and talk to those who hide in the corner (if only to see how wide their nervous or angry eyes get.)

Extra: Tristan is like her brother and he’s the one person she’ll obey. She was sent to school because her parents decided she was too much of a handful and quite simply didn’t want to mess with her.

Build: Riley is very thin for her age, though that doesn’t mean she’s not in ship shape. An exercise lover, she has a flat stomach and is small built.

With her sketch book, she loves to sketch anyone passing by without them knowing they were being sketched, to her it makes it more intense. Dreaming one day she’ll fall in love, Riley pretties up for the guys around so they would notice her, but no guy seems to notice her, making her heart break into million pieces. She isn’t the best girl out there, but she thinks that if someone would only try and see who she really is. She maybe that girl.

She was born in France – the first child to her parents – and lived there until she was two, which was when her younger sister – Brigitte – was born. Anything with frills, lace, and ruffles, she will wear it. Personality: She really doesn't really have that much going for her. She likes to read, write songs, sing, play around sometimes with her brother, Teleno.
