Hogwarts RPG Name: Gemma Jewels Sixth Year | Star-Lynn Parker skipped through the hallways of the train, black and blonde hair pulled up into one long pony tail that tickled her shoulder blades, a few wisps of hair delicately framing her petite face, showing her small, fairy-like features that greatly resembled her mother’s, Gemma Jewels. In many ways, the girl was very much like her mother. She had the same outrageously optimistic outlook on life, and saw only the good and righteous in people; immediately blocking out all the malice until it was invisible. She was carefree, and vulnerably trusting like Gem and had the same tendency to believe that animals were talking to her… Which they weren’t. However, in small, insignificant ways she differentiated from her. Her eyes were multicolored, for one. The left was a golden hue, and the right, a pale, tea green. She was not completely insane, unlike her mother, and preferred bunny rabbits over toads. Star tugged on Ed’s hand, who was walking slowly, and skipped down the hallway, attracting wolf whistles and laughter. She was dressed in bell bottoms that had such a flared end, that they hid her size-six feet, and over her raven claw blouse, she wore form-fitting purple t-shirt covered her up to her collar bones, a large cupcake the only emblem on the tunic. The out-of-place werewolf Slytherin opened a compartment door where mingled Hufflepuffs and Gryfindors relaxed and chatted. A few waved to her, but gave Ed a worried glance, and she let out a long sigh, nodding slowly. Star was faintly aware that her twin never failed to frighten everyone, and was slowly coming to accept that fact. She couldn’t see why! He could be such a sweetie. She paced down the hallway, and finding no suitable compartments, opened one only to stare straight at Thorn. “Hiya Thorn!” She chirped, giving the girl a cheerful smile, and skipped in, oblivious to the fact that she was uninvited. She plopped down on the seat opposite, and winked at everyone who surrounded her. Ed-Jonas Parker trailed behind his sister, watching the floor with a baleful expression, though his green and gold eye(s) could not be seen under his long hair, which brushed to his nose and cut off with short, razorblade cuts near the nape of his neck. Ebony arm warmers wound themselves across his arms like snakes, and his dark eyeliner could be seen as he tucked a strand of hair beneath one ear, revealing his verdant eye. His jeans that hugged his ankles were a deep black, and his shirt bore the sign of some angsty wizarding band. Though he preferred classical, Ed could put up with the Basilisk Bite and enjoy it. His look-alike’s overly happy ways were starting to tear at his nerves as he shouldered his messenger bag and gripped his wand, raven nail polish catching the light, along with the two silver rings that were pierced through his lip. If Star had been anyone else, she would have either been writhing around on the floor by now, or dead. However, he held one soft spot for a living being, and it happened to be for his sister; so instead of shooting an Unforgivable at her when she tugged at his deathly pale hand, he grumpily submitted, and trailed behind. As he was led into the Huffie’s compartment, he ran his wand against his lips threatening, a mischievous grin creeping to his lips, causing him to look goulish. He would kill them all one day, of course. Simply for being ignorant fools. He had no time to deal with such personas. As he stumbled into Thorn’s apartment, his fingers itched to curl into a rude gesture, but he controlled himself, deciding showing emotion made him appear like he cared, which he didn’t. With a resigned sigh, he settled himself into a seat and stared ahead, hair now covering his face once more. |

| Misery started when the compartmet door slammed open to reveal two similar looking teenagers. Then it hit her "You must be the parker twins." She said nodding her head. She took a moment to look over the two teenagers. The girl was the exact opposite of herself, her brightly colored clothes contrasted greatly with Misery's own drab wardrobe which consisted of black jeans, combat boots, gloves that cut of at the fingers and a black turtleneck to hide the scars on her body. The boy on the other hand had a menacing air about him, something about him mader her not want to trust him, she glanced at Thorn only to see him eyeing the boy the same way she was. "I'm your commander Misery and this is my second in command Thorn please have a seat." Thorn watched Misery with interest, he could tell that she was nervous about the upcoming mission. Neither of them were used to being around many people, they were both found as orphans Misery's father abandoned her because she was a half breed, part vampire, her mother had been bitten when she was still in the womb, she was used to being hated and ignored. Thorn on the other hand had lived his first five years of life as a normal wizard, that is until he was attacked by a werewolf when he got lost in the park. The "Academy" had found in them both a natural talent for vampire hunting, or that's what they said. They had been trained in the art of vampire hunting and witchcraft all of their lives for a mission like this and now they were saddled with a team who didn't trust Misery or each other. He gently put a hand on Misery's elboy she glanced at him and he nodded towards Harry who was still in their compartment. Misery got his meaning and smiled slightly at Harry "Harry we need to have a private conversation do you think you could find another compartment, it's very important, err...family stuff."

She nodded inside the compartment, indicating the two of them to take a seat. "You'll have to be a bit more specific, I'm afraid." After the events of last year one couldn't be too careful. | Langston sat down on one of the seats inside the compartment. His eyes followed the girl as she sat across from him. He noticed the simpliest things about her in those few seconds.
"My mum and dad sent me here," Langston started his lie, "I was going to school with my cousins in Italy, but Mum and Dad are British, and well you know how rich muggle Brits are." Langston gave her a small grin, that was completely honest. His parents would have never let him go to school anywhere besides London, and he was arranged to get into Oxford, like his father, that was until he found he was a wizard.
"It's not exciting, coming here as a 7th year. I don't know much on what has happened here, except the major things." Langston nodded to a Daily Prophet that was on the floor of the compartment. A photo of Dumboldore was on the front, an article about his death was underneath. He looked back up at Hermione.

A photo of Dumboldore was on the front, an article about his death was underneath. He looked back up at Hermione. | Hermione sat down slowly as Langston detailed his arrangements and what brought him to Hogwarts in the first place. She formed her lips into the thinest smile she could; being wealthy was something Hermione found distasteful. It reminded her of Draco Malfoy and all the workings he used regarding his father and the power the famly itself had over the wizarding world -- it was enough to make anyone sick.
Then she followed his gaze to the discaraded paper on the floor. The photograph on the front made her gasp inaudibally and she turned her eyes away from the paper, but kept focussed on the floor. Sure she'd seen the article thousands of times since last term, but the fact that the students were on their way back to Hogwarts after those events made everything seem -- more realistic than she liked.
Hermione took several deep breaths before finding her composure regained, and looking back to Langston. "It's no secret anymore --" she began, "What happened on the school grounds this past spring. I believe the entire Wizarding community knew about it within a couple of hours."
Wanting to say no more of the matter, she got to the legistics of the school. "Professor Minerva McGonnagal is the new Headmistress at Hogwarts, now," she began again. "Professor Horace Slughorn will fill the post of Head of Slytherin House and Potions Master, while Professor McGonnagal hired Professor R.J Lupin as the new Head of Gryffindor House and Defense against the Dark Arts teacher." She wasn't so sure about disclosing Lupin's -- special circumstances -- and figured it best not do to so.
"I'm not sure how you will be sorted, though. There are four Houses at Hogwarts: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw -- and Slytherin. Students are placed into their houses based mostly on personality -- sometimes background (family and magical) ---
Hermione suddenly recalled some words of wisdom Dubledore once told Harry --- "It is our choices that define who we are; Far more than our abilities."
She sighed heavily and glanced down at the photograph in the Daily Prophet. |
