Those words were written on the wall when four random teenagers were dumped in a cell room. They have two things in common: they are witches & wizards and they have powers unlike any others.

They stayed in that room for days until they began to decode the message. But before they figured anything out, someone came for them, someone that is trying to destroy them all. The person--the man--was a shape-shifter and fed on each others' fears. They fled in time before the man, they refer to him now as the Dark Man, killed one of them, and he almost killed the weakest one.

The four are journeying the globe, in search for the fifth one that will help them get out of this mess.

When they find Hayley Moseley, she seems like an unsuspecting, typical girl. But she's adventurous and insists on helping them find her uncle--the man that can help them either find a cure for these mysterious powers or find the person that will make up the Five. But when Benjy--the boy who can control anything of the mind--can't read or do anything to her mind, he starts to wonder maybe she is the fifth one.

What will happen to them? What are their powers? Can the werewolf get along with his human [but undeniably tasty] friends?

Personality: Hayley is very optimistic and can sometimes get annoying. Her mood is constantly changing. She can be hyper, then five minutes later she can be grumpy. She cares about other people and will stand up for them. She doesn't have may friends, because of her constantly changing mood, but the ones she does have she will do anything for.

History:Hayley was born and raised in Juneau, she has grown to love the cold and can't stand great heat. She is an only child and has been treated as one. Her parents weren't very good parents so she then decided to go in search for her uncle.

Personality:: Benjy is very quiet, but he'll speak out if he needs to. He can be funny and smart, but usually he stays in the shadows and tries his best to blend in as much as he can. At first he doesn't know what to think about Hayley, because he tries to read her mind, tries to control her (on experiment), but nothing happens. He doesn't like to be confused, but this girl makes him so confused it's silly.

History:: He was born and raised in Boston. He noticed he had powers at fifteen, and he's been freaking people out since then. He didn't have any friends until he met the Four, and he feels right at home with them.

Personality::Kate has the sort of personality that can change,very quickly.She has different mood swings according to whom she is speaking to,or dealing with.She is normally very sweet and sociable,but can be harsh and honest,which sometimes isnt a good thing.But normally shes funny and charming,she has a certain glow.She keeps her busniess and life to herself,but other wise,shes a pretty nice girl.

History::Kate was born in Spain,but she speaks both Spanish and English perfectly.You couldnt tell that she was spanish because of her perfect english.Kate hasnt had a bad life.She found out she had powers when she was about 14 almost 15 ish,and that changed her life,dramatically,in the way that she had to keep herself to herself.She couldnt do alot of things that she could do before she found out she could move objects with her mind and hands.With just one thought,she could move a cup of tea from her kitchen side,to the table where she was sat.When she met the other 3,she felt something click,and it felt as if she was now complete.

Personality:: The Dark Man is remorseless in his pursuits, never letting up until he has achieved his goal, reached his destination, or eliminated his target. He is almost completely without mercy, and is very difficult to barter with. He doesn't speak often, but when he does, he is surprisngly eloquent, bordering on the pleasant. But this cannot be allowed to overshadow the fact that The Dark Man is almost totally evil.

History:: Little is known of the history of The Dark Man, considering no one really wants, or can, ask him about details. He was born in a little village in Southern England, to Muggle parents, and other than that, there is very little common knowledge about him. There is litle doubt however, that his past must be as corrupted as his present.
