I think, for the most part, book!Hermione and movie!Hermione are pretty much the same. She was one of the ones I feel like they did really, really well in transitioning her character from book to film. The biggest difference I can think of is that she's described as pretty plain in the books and by J.K. Rowling in the conversation between her and Daniel on the DH2 Blu-ray, but in the movies she's really beautiful. Which can't really be blamed on anything except genetics

So I don't really have that big of a problem with it.
And I think she got the right amount of screentime in the movies, basically same as the amount she has in the books. Or maybe a little less than what the books had, since the last four are huge and some of the stuff from it had to be cut, like S.P.E.W. But still, with what they could fit into the movies, I think she had the right amount - not too much and not too little.

That was in the book

Granted, in the book it was more of a slap while in the movie it looks more like a punch, but it's awesome of her either way, imo
