Yes, but that is what makes it a different country with it's own unique holidays! This year was hard since I lost may parents last spring. We really miss them terribly!

Yep, I like how we're unique countries and have our own systems. It just is weird in some ways to me-like learning the Imperial system for school. It is a lot more confusing then metric!

I don't understand either of them!!!!!! I go by miles per hour, pounds, ounces etc. Yes, the holidays aren't going to be much fun this year, I;m afraid. Mom died January 30th and dad passed on March 28...7 weeks and one day after mom. He missed her SO much....almost married 61 years! It takes some getting used to , not having them here anymore...it hurts alot!

I get metric 'cause it just goes by units of 10. Imperial is more random. Plus there is the fact that there is also Canadian Imperial as well.
