Hello everyone ;P I really want to learn Russian I think it's a very interesting language. During my vacation I am going to learn something on my own, but I have a problem with my accent, so if someone could help me, I would be extremely grateful ;P By the way, keep on this Russian Lessons ;p

Ooh, really? That's so cool that you're going to learn some Russian on your own. I hope that we here can help you with that.

What sort of accent do you have? I know what you mean by the accents. I have this New York/Mid west accent that is apparently common in the US, but I live in Canada. I also speak French, so I know the whole deal with the accent.

Wow, you live in Canada, have the New York accent plus you can speak French, nice ;P I am from Poland so definiately I have the Polish accent ;p

I don't know when I should accent and where I shouldn't do that (in Russian of course ). It's quite difficult for me. By the way, I am glad I found here someone nice ;P

Yeah. I'm weird in that way. I knew French and English since I was able to talk, seeming as I'm Canadaian and such and I started to learn Russian in my freshman year of high school (Which was like 3 years ago).

Hmm ... well I have found a new way to do the whole lessons. If you haven't checked out the Russian learning thread, do so now. I updated it yesterday and Lesson 1 talked about how to pronounce the letters and a few words.

I've been in this thread already It's quite interesting ;P I have a lot of time now to learn Russian and to improve my English ;p so I'll often visit and read your Russian Lessons ;P I am crazy to learn during my holidays lol

Thanks. My Russian teacher from school replied to an e-mail on how I should do the whole Russian thread thing. She just said to have it be simple but with a bit of a challenge, easy to understand, and just like the classroom. I hope I'm doing that alright.

How do you make these Russian letters?

Well, I have a computer that can make those symbols when I type. I'm not sure how it does that though. lol. I suppose you could copy and paste the letters to make words. *nods*

Okay. I was thinking of coming up with a game for those who have started to learn Russian. I was thinking of having the game be like a ... "translate the word" sort of deal and you get a certain amount of points for guessing the right word. The words, of course, would be from the lesson, so it wouldn't be so challenging. What do you guys think?
