Be assured that there will be another competition. I cannot say when that will be, but we will have another. Just...please be patient.

Are we supposed to interact with the challengers as though we are the only ones there, or are we supposed to react to other's actions aka, other character's actions?

In the rules it says we are not allowed to "bewitch" competitors and challengers, does that include self-defense and charming objects near challengers?
i.e. if a challenger attacks us physically are we allowed to cast a body-bind curse or summon something a challenger is holding on to?

You may freely interact with everyone else within limits though; no causing harms to others nor Role playing other character's actions. You should be fine with everything else Quote:

i.e. if a challenger attacks us physically are we allowed to cast a body-bind curse or summon something a challenger is holding on to? Sure defend yourself, without hexing in return. In the example above you can use Expelliarmus, or duck out of the way instead of binding the castor. Most likely that character would be eliminated for causing harm unto others. Don't do the same in return (PM any of the challengers - linking to that post if it happens)

I realize there's been a slight confusion about the key. In every floor the key to access next floor up is hidden and its in your hands - the member- to find it and capture it in some way. Once you do, the challenger for that floor will pm you the password that unlocks the next forum up. And so on.
I do recommend, that if you find the key. To not tell where it is located, its part of the challenge to find it. So no one should ruin it for others.

Always follow the challenger’s hints and you’ll find the correct key.
II. If it is the correct key – once you unlock the next floor for yourself, the key goes back to its original hiding spot/ a duplicate takes its place. There are enough keys for everyone else. And each level becomes more challenging to locate it.

if we're working in a group, are all the group member's scores added together in the end, or are we also competiting against one another (point-wise) even though we advance together?
No each individual will be graded based on his own work (even the ones working in group). So the group move along together, but they are graded individually only fair to everyone else in the group.

Another question about groups; do you think you could do both a group score and an individual score? Since in the case of a group, only one person needs to find the key, then that individual would earn the points. Wouldn't that already mean group members have less points to earn then individuals?
Er, hope that makes sense... |

Nope. Definitely not. Each individual whether participating in a group or working alone will be graded based on their own effort and Role Play skills. We allowed people to work in groups to make it more enjoyable for them while hunting. It was an option, not compulsory. There shouldn’t be a preference to a group in contrast to single players, sorry. To make it fair to everyone else, playing only one grading sheet would be carried for each participating character.
If you really want a group score- they way I’d do it is average the scores for all three players in the team – you can calculate your own group’s score that way

Weren't we supposed to get our scores as we move up to another level? Cause when we were sent the password to the next level, our scores weren't listed... |

Yup you should have. Sorry for the inconvenience, but lower floors are so busy atm, I've seen scores. Give mods/challengers a chance, I'm sure they'll PM them to you the soonest they can/get a chance to do so
