OH, and its also the 30 chapter too!!

I got up wicked early the next morning; the sun hadn't even come up yet. I tired falling back to sleep, but after a half-an hour I gave up. I got out of bed, and got dressed. It was a little chilly so I grabbed my green sweater and put it on, and then walked outside to watch the sun rise.
George had to go back to the shop, but I will see him again when we go to Diagon Alley, which will be when we get our letters. According to Hermione that should e today, along with our O.W.L's. I'm not too nervous about them, I know I did fine. So there is no reason to give myself a nervous breakdown stressing over it, like Hermione is about to do.
Once the sun was up, I walked into the kitchen to Mrs. Weasley making breakfast, Mr. Weasley sitting a the table reading the Daily Prophet, sitting next to an extremely sleepy looking Ginny, and Hermione pacing.
"What’s the matter, Hermione?" I said, already knowing the answer.
"I failed. I failed everything’s just know I did."
"Calm down." I said, taking a seat next to Ginny.
"Calm down? How can I calm down? I failed everything!"
"You two!" she snapped at Harry, and Ron, who were coming down the stairs. "Its about time you woke up!"
And you thought I was kidding about giving herself a nervous breakdown?
"Look!" said Ginny, pointing out the window. You could see four dots, getting bigger in the distance. Mrs. Weasley opened the window just in time, and the birds lined up on the table, and stuck out there leg.
I walked over tot eh owl that had the letter with my name on it, and untied the letter. Before I opened it I looked up at Hermione who looked ghost-pale, and was shaking.
I looked back at my own letter, and opened it.

"How did you do?" asked Hermione.
"Good." I said trading hers for mine.
She had done better than me, only one E. (We took all the same classes.)
After everyone revealing there marks, and a round of suffocating hugs from Mrs. Weasley, we were off to Diagon Alley.
After we apparate, I was expecting to see the bright, busy streets of Diagon Alley, instead I saw the opposite. Everywhere you looked seemed to have a dim, gray cloud over it. There were signs covering the windows that showed wanted, escaped Death Eaters, and most of the shops were boarded up. Few people were on the streets, and those who were, were huddled together in groups.
"Where shall we go fist?" asked Mrs. Weasley. She looked anxious, like she wanted to leave at that exact moment.
"I wanna see the Joke Shop." said Ron.
"That sounds like a great idea!" I said eager to see George.
"No, we should get school supplies first." she said.” Don’t you need new robes? Let's go to Madame Malkins."
"I don't need new robes, Mom." complained Ginny. "I need to get books."
"Why don't we split up?" I suggested. "You can come with me Ginny."
"To the Joke Shop? And see you snog my brother? I’m good."
"I meant to Flourish & Blotts" I said, blushing.
"Oh." she laughed. "Ok then!"
"I don't think we should split up." said Mrs. Weasley.
"The will be fine, Molly. And we can leave faster this way."
"Well, okay..."
"Good. Why don't we all meet at the Joke Shop, in a couple hours?" said Mr. Weasley.

We all split up, and Ginny and I went to get our books, then to the Quidditch supply shop, we were going to try out to be Chasers this year. We thought we had better chances now that Harry was captain, and we had connections. We were going to stop to get ice-cream, but when we got there, the store was boarded up.
So we went to go find the shop, which wasn't hard, it was the brightest store in the whole place.
We walked in to find the place very crowded, as we pushed our way through the crowd, I lost Ginny. I walked saw a space at one of the shelves, and quickly squeezed my way over to look at what was there, love potions. I examined them for a few minutes when I heard,
"And who are you trying to make fall in love with you?"
I turned around to face George.
"No one. I'm think Slytherin love circle. Draco loves Millicent Bulstrode, who loves Blaise, who loves Pansy, who loves Draco."
"Interesting." he said, flashing me one of his adorable smiles that still made me weak in the knees.
"Yes. Now, go and ring these up." I said giving the potions to him.
"They're free."
"No they're not.
"You’re not paying."
I crossed my arms. "Fine, then can you at least get me a bag?"
"Sure." he said, giving me a kiss on the cheek, and walking away.
As soon as he disappeared in the crowd, another familiar figure appeared.
"I see you to are still together." said Katelyn; looking from me to the spot wear George had dissappeared."It's great that you’re so forgiving."
"What are you talking about?"
"He didn't tell you?"
"Tell me what?"
"About the kiss."
"What kiss?"
"Our kiss."
"Whose kiss!?"
"Me and Georges kiss!" she said, sounding annoyed. "God, you are so slow."
I laughed. "You didn't kiss George."
"Yes, I did."
"Why should I believe you?"
"Come on, Allie." she said. "When have I ever lied to you?"
I opened my mouth to speak, but nothing came out. She never had actually lied to me, almost killed me, sure, but never lied.
"Hi George." she said, when he reappeared. "It was nice talking to you, Allie." She then pushed her way through the crowd, and left the store.
"Here you go." he said handing me the bag. "I also gave you a Pygmy Puff."
I took the bag, but didn't say anything back.
"Are you okay?"
"DidyoukissKatelyn?" I asked, so quickly it sounded like one word.
"What?"
"Have you ever kissed Katelyn?" I said, slowly this time.
He didn't say anything. He just stood there, staring at his shoes guiltily.
I sighed. "When?"
"Last year." he said, his voice barely a whisper.
"Last year!" I was trying my best to keep my voice at a normal level.
"It was while we were broken up, and she kissed me, I swear." he said. "I pushed her off me right away, and told her I loved you."
I nodded. There was nothing to get mad about.
"Okay, I believe you. It sounds like something that witch Katelyn would do."
"She is not that bad, if you give her a chance."
"I have given her many chances, George."
"I don't think you have really tried."
"I have tried!" I said, not even bothering to stop myself from yelling. "I can't believe you are even sticking up for her!" I said, and started to push my way out of the store.
"I'm just tired of seeing you two fight, that’s all!" he called after me.
I ignored him.
"Would you move?!" I shouted at some innocent guy, blocking the door way, taking some of my anger out on him.

By the time we had gotten back from Diagon Alley, I had completely forgiven George. I mean, sure, he shouldn't have told me that I didn't try hard enough to be friends with Katelyn. But he was a guy. He was an idiot by nature, which tended to make him say stupid things. So why should I be mad at him, if the root of all this started with her?
I would have told him all this too, if Mrs. Weasley hadn't been so determined to get out of there.
It was fine though, George would come to see my off tomorrow, and we would kiss and make up, and everything would be fine.
At least, that’s what I thought. It was 10:59am and Mr. Weasley had to practically carry me on the train because I was convinced that George had slept in late, and was going to apparate on the platform at the last moment, where would quickly make-up, then he would give me a good-bye kiss, and I would make it on the train just in time.
So maybe I watched too many movies this summer, sue me.
11:00am.
The train had started moving, and I stared out the window, hoping George would at least pop up, late. But no luck. When the train turned the corner, I decided to go find Neville.
I found him in a compartment near the end of the train, with a blank look on his face.
"Hey Neville." I said giving him a quick hug, then sitting down. "How was your summer?"
"Hannah and I broke up."
"What? You have been dating since fourth year! How is that possible?” Why?"
He leaned his head against the window. "We got into some stupid fight-I don’t even remember what it was about-then we broke up."
Poor Neville, he looked heart broken.
"It’s a bad time for romance for everyone."
"What do you mean?"
"George and I got into a fight."
Neville sat up straight, probably getting ready to comfort me if I started crying. He was always there if I needed a shoulder to cry on, just as all good best friends are.
"It's fine." I said quickly.” Just something stupid. I was hoping to make up with him today, but he didn't come....probably because of the shop. We didn't break up. It's fine."
He gave me a concerned look.
"It is fine!"
He nodded slowly, and then went back to looking out the window.
Everything was fine, right? George only hadn't come because he was busy with the shop. But what if he wasn't? What if he thought they had broken up? And now Katelyn is his girlfriend? NO. That’s not true. What if it is? Its not.Why did everything have to be so confusing? Or maybe its not and I'm just over thinking it. Ugh, this year is not starting the way I hoped.
Allie clung to her Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes bag.
At least she would have her Slytherin love circle.
