Now I must say....wonderfully written. I really liked continued chapter were Ginny and Draco were caught making out by Madam Promfrey. lol that was funny.

I also liked the part were things were going a bit to far in your recent chapter.....I might have gone further than Ginny did but I respect her decision. I love Malfoy even more so for listening and respecting her decision. I'm very impressed by how much Draco has changed for Ginny and glad he his been put into Gryffndor house!! yay!!!
I'm scared for Draco with his father and hope that he comes back to Ginny.....I feel very upset for her, they both deserve happiness and peace together rather than all the crap they are receiving.
I loved the chapter and can't wait to find out what happens next and I hope you enjoy writing the chapters just as much as I love to read them!!!

Chapter 24:The Unthinkable

The journey back home was difficult for Draco. He thought it might be risky to apparate (sp?) to Malfoy Manor, because he didn't know what to expect. Draco was taking a train back home, and was tortured by his thoughts. "What am I going to find when I get home? What if mother is seriously injured? How will I be able to comfront my father?" Draco thought to himself. The train conductor could be heard overhead. "We have reached Crestwood Lakes." The conductor annouced. "There's no turning back now." Draco said nervously.

Draco's house wasn't far from the train station, so he just walked. When he reached his house, he hid behind a big bush checking the place out. It was a dark and stormy night. All seemed quiet at Malfoy Manor. Since Draco and his family were rich, his house was a mansion. Draco took out his wand and slowly walked up to the house. As Draco opened the door ever so slowly, he tuned his ears so he could hear the slightest sound. He looked around his living room and his jaw dropped. It looked as if a tornado had blown through his living room. He knew his father must have had a fit and destroyed everything. Draco had to walk slowly, not only because he had no idea what to expect from his father, but because there was broken glass everywhere on the floor. Draco searched the first four floors, to see the same sight. Everything was destroyed, including his room. He grew angry seeing all his belongings ruined, but he quickly forgot about it and thoughts of his mother came. There was one last place she could be, the Basement. Draco turned on his heel and headed down there. It was dark and dingy down there. It looked like his father broke most of the lights. The remaining working lights flickered as if they were losing power. In a dark corner Draco sighted what looked like a body. "MOM!!" Draco yelled not caring if his father heard him. Draco ran over to the body and moved it out of the shadows and into the light. It was confirmed, it was Draco's mother. "Mother? Can you hear me? Answer me!" Draco yelled frantically. "Draco...You came." She struggled to say. Then Narcissa passed out. Draco realized that she was chained up. She had magical binds around her ankles as if she were a slave. "Son of a b****! REDUCTO!" Draco said as the magical binds broke off. Draco tried lifting his mother up. "Leave her!" Lucius Malfoy said from a darkened corner. Draco gently put his mother's limp body back on the ground. "You have guts coming back here, after what you've done." Lucius said coldly to his son. "After what I've done? What about what you've done? Look at her!!" Draco demanded pointing to his mother. "She deserved it after what she put me through." Lucius replied uncaringly. "What she put you through? What could she have possibly done to deserve this?" Draco questioned angryly. "She turned her back on me and defended you. I know all about your betrayal, joining Gryffindor." Lucius said with a sour look on his face. Draco was stunned. "How did you find out?" Draco asked nervously. "Did you really think I could trust you to keep your mouth shut? I wanted to know if you revealed to anyone about your little accidents." Lucius said as he got cut off. "I wouldn't call what you were doing to me accidents." Draco interrupted. Lucius looked at him surprised that he had the nerve to interrupt him. Lucius continued. "I had spys on you. Believe me, I didn't expect to find out that you had switched houses!!!" Lucius yelled at the top of his lungs. Draco flinched in fear and terror. Lucius continued to explain, as Draco stood silent, unable to speak. "Your mother said that you were destined for greatness, it didn't matter what house you were in. Of course it mattered!! Then, you're mother defended your relationship, if you want to call it that, with that Mud-Blood lover." Lucius paused thinking of Draco actually kissing a Weasley and he got a ill look on his face. "You're a Pure-Blood Slytherin, you always have been. You have no busy with a Mud-Blood lover." Lucius said with fury in his voice. Draco gained the courage to speak. "Things have changed. I'm different now." Draco said, still clenching onto his wand tightly. "You're damn right things have changed. Can you imagine how sick to my stomach I was when I found out you were friends with Harry Potter?" Lucius asked with a twisted look on his face. Draco gulped loudly, he was scared out of his mind. "What the h*** do you think Lord Voldemort will do to us when he finds out? Did you ever think about that?!!" Lucius yelled once more, while moving closer to Draco. Draco moved alittle back, he was cornered. "He's your Lord, not mine. He can do whatever he wants to you." Draco said daringly. Lucius looked taken aback at this remark. Lucius then dug into his robes and pulled out his wand, Draco was ready for whatever came next. "Don't do this. Just let me take mom and get her checked out." Draco pleaded, for he didn't want to have to fight his own father. Lucius merely smirked broadly. "I'm your only son." Draco pleaded once more. "I have no son. STUPEFY!" Lucius yelled as a jet of red light went towards Draco. Draco dodged it just in time. Lucius sneered. "Why don't we take this upstairs?" Lucius asked retorically. (sp?) Then he apparated (sp?) to the upstairs living room. Draco was hesitate to leave his mother behind, but did so. He hoped she would be safer down there. Draco decided to take the stairs up, as to avoid any surprises. He found his father waiting for him in the living room, wand at the ready. Draco and Lucius quickly bowed to eachother and started the duel.

"EXPELLIARMUS!" Draco shouted hoping to knock his father's wand out of his hand. But no such luck, as Lucius quickly dodged the spell. "I would have expected better from you. IMPEDIMENTA!" Lucius yelled. Draco didn't have enough time to react and was knocked backwards off his feet. He surprisenly got up quickly. His adrenaline kicked in and he barely felt the blow from that hit. Lucius looked at him surprised. "TARANTALLEGRA!" Draco screamed. The spell hit his father. His father's legs jumped into a crazy sort of tapdance. He fell to the floor, dropping his wand. Draco worked quickly. "ACCIO WAND!" Draco said as his father's wand came flying to his hand. Lucius got up as the spell wore off. He had a disgusted look on his face. He was getting beaten by his own son. "Give it up father. It's over." Draco said alittle relieved. Lucius ran up to Draco and knocked him off his feet. Both wands flew out of his hands. Lucius forgetting about the wands, let his anger and hatred take over him. He got on top of Draco. "I don't need magic to deal with a traitor like you!" Lucius yelled in frustration. He punched Draco across the face repeatedly. Draco's lips got alittle swollen from being punched there so many times. His lips were bleeding perfusely. (sp?) As Draco kept getting hit, thoughts of Ginny filled his mind. The thought of her sweet smile and firey red hair, gave Draco the strength he needed. It was now or never. kill or be killed. Before Lucius could punch Draco again, Draco shoved him off of him with all his might. Lucius fell backwards. Draco lunged for a wand, any wand. "AVADA KEDAVRA!!" Draco shouted loudly. The Killing spell hit it's target directly. Lucius Malfoy fell to the ground hard. Draco breathed hard, trying to get as much oxygen in his lungs as possible. He was exausted. He slowly walked over to his father's dead body. Draco fell to his knees. He looked at his father's face. Lucius Malfoy had complete and utter shock on his face. He never expected his son would go through with it and kill him. Draco then looked at the wand, and dropped it to the ground. It was his father's wand that he had taken. "I just killed my own father, with his own wand." Draco sadly thought to himself. Then Draco did something he never thought he would do again. He cried. He cried for his father. Even though Lucius was one of the worst father's in the world, and never showed Draco that he loved him, Draco still loved him. Draco cried for a few moments, then wiped his tears away. He then picked up his wand and his father's and pocketed them both. He went back down to retrieve his mother. She was still passed out. With not much strength left, it was difficult to pick up his mother. (He decided not to use a levatating spell, because he didn't feel like using another wand so soon.) Draco took one last look at his old home and apparated (sp?) to Hogsmeade. He then struggled up to a carriage so he and his mother would get a ride to Hogwarts. The ride up to the castle was quick. Draco took his last bit of strength and carried his mother inside the grounds. He got inside, near the Great Hall. It was very late, so the feast was already over with. Then Draco began to feel extra weak. He put his mother down and then collasped. Hagrid was thankfully passing by and saw the two bodies. Since he was half-giant, he carried them both easily to the Hospital Wing.

OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE HE KILLED HIS DAD! THATS SO TOTALLY WICKID!!!!!!! lol, I never liked his dad; it's about time some1 killed that man off! lol. Awesome story, can't wait 4 more!!!

omg!!! he killed his dad?! Poor baby!! But excelent post Steph I loved it too pieces, I was crying when he killed his dad, not because I liked his dad but because I felt so sorry for Draco. His poor mother was hurt too. wow heavy stuff........truly awesome stuff Steph and I can't WAIT for your next post, bring it on!!!! yay Steph!!!

Chapter 25:In The Hospital Wing

Hagrid brought Draco and Narcissa to the Hospital Wing and Madam Pomfrey couldn't believe her eyes. Draco was her most seen patient ever. Both Malfoys were in pretty bad shape. Hagrid knew all about Ginny's relationship with Draco, and Harry, Hermione, and Ron's new found friendship with him also. He headed right for their common room, after being dismissed by Madam Pomfrey so she could get to work. Since he was Gamekeeper at Hogwarts, Hagrid knew all the common room passwords. Plus, he was a Gryffindor before. Ginny was still waiting for Draco's return in the common room. She loved Draco so much that she didn't care how long she waited for him. Ginny had been waiting for Draco for 10 hours!! Ron, Harry, and Hermione stood up all night waiting with her. They were truely concerned for Draco's well-being. All was quiet in their common room because it was 1 o'clock in the morning. Everyone was asleep, and Ginny, Ron, Harry, and Hermione just kept waiting in the common room with their p.j.'s on. Hermione got up to give Ginny some tissues for her tears when the portrait door opened up. To their surprise it was Hagrid. Ginny got up so quickly, you would have never guessed she was shattered beyong belief. "Is it Draco? Please tell me he's alright." Ginny said nervously knowing that Hagrid couldn't be here for a social hour. Hagrid looked at them with a concerned face underneath all that beard. "I found Draco and his mother unconscious near the Great Hall. There in the Hospital Wing now." Hagrid said. (I know that's not how Hagrid talks, but I've honestly never paid much attention to how he talks.) Ginny's jaw dropped in shock, then snapped out of it and ran out of there quickly. Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Hagrid weren't far behind. For a giant, Hagrid could surprisenly ran fast. When Ginny reached the Hospital Wing, Madam Pomfrey was nowhere to be seen. She was clearly still working on the Malfoys. Ginny didn't care about anything much right now, all she was concerned about was Draco's well-being. Ginny pulled aside a curtain, and it turned out it was the patient she was looking for. She just followed her gut feeling. Ginny walked up slowly to Draco's bed. Even she couldn't believe what she was seeing. Draco's once handsome face was covered with too many black and blues to count. His lips were swollen, and his nose looked broken again. "Oh my God." She managed to whisper. Then out of nowhere, Madam Pomfrey came back to check up on Draco. "Oh my, you startled me Ms. Weasley. Now, I'm sorry Ms. Weasley, but you need to wait outside while I finish with Mr. Malfoy." Madam pomfrey said both strictly and kindly. Ginny forced herself to do as she was told. Madam Pomfrey closed the curtain once again. Ginny just stood there, staring at the curtain intensely, as if trying to see through it with X-Ray vision. (lol, sry I just love Superman, if u haven't already noticed my siggy.) Since it was very late, the castle was dead silent. Ginny heard Ron, Harry, Hermione, and Hagrid's loud footsteps a mile away. She turned around to look at the door-way just as they entered still running. They were all breathing heavyly, trying to catch their breaths. "How...is....he...?" Hermione said as she continued to try and catch her breath. Ginny turned away from them and looked back at the curtain. "I don't know. I only saw him for a few seconds." Ginny said sadly, as she tried not to cry. "He has to be okay. He just has to be." Harry said as he looked Ginny right in the eyes. Ron nodded in agreement. Then they all heard the sound of the curtain being moved and they turned their attention to Madam Pomfrey. She had a very worried expression on her face. "What is it?" Ginny asked worried. "Mr. Malfoy has been through a great ordeal. He will recover smoothly, he just needs lots of rest." She replied. They all breathed a sigh of relief. "And Mrs. Malfoy?" Ginny asked curiously. She didn't know Draco's mother very well, but was concerned about her, for she was going to be her Mother-In-Law someday. "Mrs. Malfoy is in worser shape than Mr. Malfoy. It appears that she was being starved, and held against her will. I discovered circle marks around her ankles that could only be made from magical binds. She may be here longer than Mr. Malfoy." Madam Pomfrey said sadly. Madam Pomfrey was once hurt by an abusive husband herself, so it troubled her to see Mrs. Malfoy in her condition. "That's horrible." Hermione replied sincerely. "I never thought Lucius could be that much of a monster." Ron said angryly. "Lucky you found them when you did Hagrid." Harry said as he looked at Hagrid. Ginny noticed that Madam Pomfrey still had a worried expression on her face. "Is there anything else Madam Pomfrey?" Ginny asked. "Well, before you all arrived, I was informed that The Ministry Of Magic discovered Lucius Malfoy's body at Malfoy Manor." Madam Pomfrey said uncomfortabley. Ginny let out a shriek of horror and disbelief. Hermione's jaw dropped. Harry and Ron were just trying to comprehend what they had just heard. Hagrid looked both shocked and alittle happy. Lucius Malfoy was always cruel and rude to him. "I'm afraid we will not know what happened at Malfoy Manor until Mr. Malfoy, or Mrs. Malfoy awakens." Madam Pomfrey said seriously. Ginny looked at her as if asking her something without even opening up her mouth to speak. "Yes Ms. Weasley. You may go in and see him now. But please, one visitor at a time." She said with a tiny smile.

Wow! I can't say that Lucious didn't have that coming! Finally, Draco and his mother are free. Considering the circumstances, I don't see how the Ministry could charge Draco with anything because he was defending his mother and himself! He could even be considered a hero!

Oh that was so sad. Poor Ginny and Draco. But even worse his mum is in really bad condition!!!!!! I always knew that Lucius Malfoy was nothing but a big bully!!!!! I don't no what can happen next, I mean Draco killed he own father, will he tell Ginny? Will the Ministry make a huge deal of it? I CAN'T WAIT TO FIND OUT!!!! But fantastic stuff Steph, your an amazing writer and I can't wait to find out what is going to happen to Draco and his mother.
