http://lberghol.deviantart.com/ Harry stood at the alter in a dashing black suit, just waiting. He looked scared but inexplicitly happy. Ron, his best mate, stood beside him talking him through it all (“Harry, just breathe in and out…”) keeping him as calm as possible (“You look great. And just remain calm.”). Looking up once and awhile, giving him a smile, and patting him on the back. “Mr. Weasley, the procession is going to start in fifteen minutes.” the priest said to Ron.
Harry turned chalk white and gulped. “Ron…”
“You’ll be fine Harry. Once you see her, you’ll forget everything else,” winking Ron stepped from the alter and hurried up the aisle. He walked a little past the arch and searched for Hermione in the crowd of bridesmaids.
“If you’re looking for Hermione,” said a particularly dreamy voice, “ she is over there by the window.”
Ron grinned down at Luna, “Thanks Luna.” I really do like her, Ron thought as he moved from Luna’s side and pushed through the crowd trying to spy Hermione. Not having seen her all morning he had no clue what she would look like. Probably, he thought, in the dress robes she wore for the Yule Ball. After all, Ginny’s bridesmaid dresses were wearing periwinkle blue. Maybe they did it on purpose?
When he finally pushed past the last person he saw her. And she was definitely not in her dress robes. Her back was to him and she was staring out a window. She was probably analyzing something. She was always analyzing something. But when Ron drew closer he heard a sniffle. He put his hand lightly on her shoulder, “Hermione…are you alright?”
She turned around quickly and threw herself in Ron’s arms. “Oh Ron! I just can’t believe its all over! Harry getting married!” she hugged him tighter, “I just can’t believe we are here.” Ron hugged Hermione closer. "I can't either. But we are, Hermi--"
But than Luna came up to them, “You do realize, that the procession is getting ready to start now? And you,” she pointed to Ron, “need to be up at the alter with Harry.”
“Oh! Thanks Luna,” he glanced at Hermione, “See you up there.” As he walked back through the throng of people he caught a glimpse of Ginny standing in the shadows making sure she couldn’t be seen. He grinned to himself and continued his journey up towards the alter.
“How you feeling mate?” Ron clapped Harry on the shoulder and stood beside him.
“Nervous, so happy, and scared to death. What if she changes her mind?” Harry looked worriedly up at Ron.
“Don’t worry Harry, she won’t.”
“She deserves bett--” But before Harry could finish this thought the Strings version of Unforgettable interrupted him. Both men looked up to see Hermione walking down the aisle.
She wore a deep crimson dress that had a small train that ran along her back and fluttered above the ground. Her wavy brown hair was swept up behind her head in a simple ribbon. Hermione looked at them both, as she took her place on the opposite side of Harry, with a single tear trickling down her smiling face.
After Hermione came Luna, in her periwinkle gown with her pale blonde hair similar to Hermione’s, escorted by Neville who looked uncertain as to how fast to walk. Luna looked up at him and gave him a genuine smile. His facial expression relaxed as he smiled back and took his place beside Ron and Luna stood beside Hermione.
Than Demelza, dressed the same as Luna, was escorted by Colin. Parvati came down the aisle in her periwinkle dress in a flourish escorted by Seamus. Lavender was escorted down by Dean. Than Fred and George walked down the aisle together carrying the rings. When the entire party was in place, they all looked down the aisle at the archway.
And there she was. Her elegant white dress seemed to flow around her. Her auburn hair was swept up into a gorgeous braid that made a hallow on top of her head with a single white lily on the left side. She had a bouquet of white and crimson lilies in her hands.
The entire church gasped in awe. Mr. Weasley came to Ginny’s side, she placed her hand in the crook of his elbow and they began to walk down the aisle. Unforgettable was replaced by the sweet melody of Ave Maria. Ron looked over at Harry and saw him looking straight at Ginny. He had eyes only for her. Ron looked back at his sister and saw that she had tears in her eyes. When they reached the alter Mr. Weasley lifted up her veil and gave her a kiss on the cheek. “I love you Daddy,” Ginny said as he covered her face with the veil again.
As the vows are being said Ron looked past Harry and Ginny at Hermione. She looked over at Ron, as if she knew he was looking at her, and gave him a small smile than looked back at Ginny. But Ron couldn’t look back at Harry and Ginny. The priests voice flitted through one ear and out the other, all he could see was Hermione. It was as if the rest of the world had disappeared and they weren’t at Harry’s wedding anymore.
“…You may kiss the bride.” Ron’s gaze snapped back towards Harry and Ginny and saw them both smile as they leaned in to kiss.

I love it! It's a great start! Harry is so nervous and Ginny is so happy. But Ron, however, didn't seem to care about the wedding. Ha ha! PAMS PAMS PAMS PAMS!!!!!

“Now the bride and groom will share their first dance.” the DJ announced over the microphone. He started flicking his wand about getting ready for the song to start as Harry and Ginny took their places on the dance floor.
“They look so blissfully happy,” Hermione thought from her seat on the side of the dance floor.
‘Wise men say only fools rush in, but I can’t help..’
Harry and Ginny began a slow dance in a waltz position.
‘..falling in love with you.’
“Hey Hermione,” Ron whispered as he took the seat beside her.
‘shall I stay? Would it be a sin?’
Hermione looked up at Ron. Sometimes she hated how tall he was. Almost gave her a crick in the neck looking up at him all the time. “They look great don’t they.”
‘if I can’t help falling in love with you.’
“Yeah, they look really happy.” Ron sighed.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen Harry this happy.”
‘Some things are meant to be..’
“He has never been this happy. Neither has Ginny.” Ron said quietly as he gazed over at his best mate and little sister.
‘take my hand, take my whole life too.’
But Hermione’s gaze wasn’t on Harry and Ginny anymore. It was on Ron instead. When did Ron become so emotional? Hermione saw his hand dangling on the side of his chair. She couldn’t take her eyes off of it. She wanted to reach down and grab it, hold on tight, and never let go. Her stomach fluttered at the very thought, “Oh come on…it’s just Ron. I thought we were past this..” She quickly looked back up to see Ron staring at her. Slowly he raised his hand and grabbed hers. He turned back towards the dance floor and didn’t let go.
‘for I can’t help falling in love with you.’

After the newlyweds were done with their dance and done dancing with their parents (Harry danced his Mother and Son dance with Mrs. Weasley) the rest of the guests began to dance as well.
Ginny, Harry, Hermione, Neville, Luna, and Ron were dancing crazily in the middle of the dance floor. Onlookers couldn’t help but chuckle at their odd dancing. But none of them cared, they were having way to much fun. After dancing for five songs straight, they need a break. They all went to the table and sat down, talked, and joked around.
“Hey Gin, do you want to dance to the next slow song?” Harry asked
“Oh yes,” Harry and Ginny got up from the table and waved to the others as they walked away to the dance floor. They all stared after them with smiled on their faces.
“Hey Luna, can you pass the water jug over please?” Hermione leaned across the table to grab the jug from Luna and poured herself some. “Ron, would you like some?”
Ron nodded, “Yes, thanks.” he paused slightly, not sure how to ask. But he had too. He wasn’t going to make the same mistake…again. “Hermione,” he said as he stood up in front of her, “may I have the next dance?” It felt as if his heart was in his throat as he watched her face. It changed from shock to joy in seconds.
“I would love to dance Ron,” she placed her hand in his and he helped her up from her seat and guided her towards the dance floor. The song soon began.
‘Would you go with me if we rolled down streets of fire,’
Ron placed his hand on Hermione’s waist and grabbed her right hand in his left.
‘Would you hold on to me tighter as the summer sun got higher,’
The slowly began a sort of waltz. But it couldn’t really be called that. There was no counting, no steps, no routine. Only them.
‘If I gave you my hand would you take it and make me the happiest man in the world’
Ron twirled Hermione out and than pulled her back into his arms.
‘If I told you my heart couldn't beat one more minute without you, girl’
Hermione laughed as she was spun about, Ron smiled contagiously at her. This was heaven.
‘Let me know if you're really a dream I love you so, so would you go with me’
They danced around the floor without a care about anyone else, or the fact that they gained an audience. All they could hear was this song. All they could see was each other. They were after all, both thought, best friends. Why shouldn’t and couldn’t they dance?
‘If I gave you my hand would you take it and make me the happiest man in the world
If I told you my heart couldn't beat one more minute without you, girl’
But as the dance came to its end, and Ron kept Hermione in his embrace, they weren’t thinking of any of that. Hermione laid her head just below Ron’s shoulder as he continued to lead her slowly around the dance floor. She knew she would never forget the Spicy smell that filled her nostrils, how his strong arms seemed to almost protect her from the rest of the world, and the soft beating of his heart underneath her ear. She closed her eyes and a soft smile played on her lips. But slowly it disappeared as she thought about what she had to do, how it was the only solution. She had to get away.
‘Would you accompany me to the edge of the sea.Help me tie up the ends of a dream I gotta know, would you go with me. I love you so, so would you go with me’

“No…please God. Don’t hurt her…NOOO!” Hermione yelled into the night as she sat bolt up right in her bed. Shaking uncontrollably she hugged her knees in close and closed her eyes in silent agony.
“Why is it always the same nightmare..” she whispered, tears falling gently down her face. Her nightmare flashed before her closed eyes. Her father lying unconscious on the ground--her mother in the center of a circle of Death Eaters who are laughing madly as they slowly torture her--Hermione bound to a tree, able to do nothing but watch and scream for help. She thought about her mother and father spending months in Saint Mungo’s barely able to recognize her.
“I have to leave.” she threw off the covers and wiped away her tears roughly. “I need to get away from it all. All the memories.”
♥ *hides* I know, I know. Its very short. But I'm posting tomorrow. Maybe even twice. I just don't want my posting to get to close to what I'm writing, just incase I have to change something or get writers block. Like right now, I'm stuck on dialog. I'm not going to get into details. But don't worry it's not writers block I just can't find the words, which happens to me to many times to count! lol. But even though it is short I hope you liked it. Comments? Critique?
