Hi, I'm Bree, and welcome to my thread, The Love Between Us. This story is about the trio's seventh year, and their search for the Horcruxes. I hope you enjoy it.

Chapter One: Going to the Burrow Part 1

Harry was at the Dursleys' household packing all of his things into his trunk. When he finished packing and made sure that he wasn't missing anything, he grabbed his trunk and Hedwig's empty cage and walked out of his room and down the stairs in the living room where he found his aunt and uncle sitting and reading.
"I have something important to say." said Harry. Vernon looked up from the newspaper and said, "We know that you're going to your weird little friend's house."
"It's not that." said Harry, "Not only am I going to my friend, Ron's house, but I'm also never coming back."
"Not coming back?" Vernon asked, "What the ruddy H*ll gave you that idea?"
"If you haven't noticed, I'm of age now." said Harry, "So I can leave and never come back. Not only because I don't like it here, but it's also because Lord Voldemort might kill me."
"Isn't he the man the killed your parents?" asked Petunia.
"I don't know why you care but yes," Harry said, looking at her, "And Voldemort is trying to kill me and everone that isn't a you-know-what, so me and my friends, Ron and Hermione are going to try and destroy him."
"But you can't fight him." said Petunia.
"Why, because I'm weak?" Harry angrily bursted out, "I'm tired of you lot always saying that I'm good for nothing and weird. I've had enough!"
"Now see here-" Vernon started to say but Harry interupted him, "This is the reason why I hate it here, it's because of how both of you treated me, you're my aunt and uncle and guardians! You're supposed to act like my parents, but instead, just because I'm the son of the sister you hate," he glared at Petunia, "And just because I'm a wizard, you guys treat me like the dirt on your shoe! And since I know that you don't care what happens to me, I'll get out of this house, and out of your lives!" Harry turned around to leave until he heard his aunt say, "I do care about you." He turned around and looked at her, "What?"
"I do care about what happens to you," Petunia repeated.
"I find that very hard to believe," said Harry.
"Well, whether you believe it or not, I do care about you," said Petunia, "Why else would I have taken you in? I know that I didn't show it but like you said, you are my sister's son, and even though I disliked her, I still cared about her as much as I care about you." She got up from her seat and walked over to Harry.

"Harry, I'm sorry that I have never treated you right, but I was jealous of Lily and when you were born I know that you were going to be like her so my jealousy grew, which led you to feel miserable." And Petunia did something that she has never done to Harry and hugged him, leaving Harry standing there confused until he hugged her back. Vernon stayed where he was also feeling confused. Petunia stopped hugging Harry and said, "Try to be carefull, Harry. You're the only thing I have left of my sister."

Harry smiled at her and said, "I'll write to you and send them the normal way."
Harry turned around again and left the living room and out the door. Harry walked up to the street, held out his wand hand to sygnal the Knight Bus, and looked back the Dursleys' home, after all the things his aunt said, he wondered if he could still visit.

Going to the Burrow Part 2

Harry stood on the side of the street until he heard a loud Crack, and the Knight Bus drove over to him. The Knight Bus was the same way as the last time Harry saw it, only instead of the regular conductor, Stan Shunpike-who Harry guessed was still in Azkaban-it was an atractive woman that looked familiar to Harry. The woman had long, messy black hair that was put into a ponytail and she had emerald green eyes like Harry's.
"Hello,"said the woman, "Welcome to the Knight Bus, the emergency transport for the stranded witch or wizard, I'm Viola Robins and I will be your conductor for this afternoon."
Viola looked at Harry and asked, "Do I know you from somewhere?"
"I think so." Harry said, grabbing his trunk and Hedwig's empty cage and carrying(sp?) them up into the Knight bus.
"Hang on," said Viola, "Now I remember, you're that boy that Voldemort is after."
"Yeah." Harry said, surprised that Viola actually said Voldemort's name. He hardly knew anyone who was actually brave enough to say his name.
"Yeah, my little brother and sister are really facinated about your life." said Viola.
"Them and everyone else," Harry muttered.
"Oh, well they're not the kind of kids that bother people." Viola said going up to the front while Harry followed her.
"So, here's your seat." Viola said, as soon as she and Harry got up to the front, "Take it away, Ern." she added to the old man driver. Ernie then started to drive at high speed.
"Where are you headed?" asked Viola.
"The Burrow," answered Harry, "That's in Ottery St. Catchpole."
"You hear that, Ern?" She asked the driver, "The Burrow, that's in Ottery St. Catchpole." Viola took out a copy of Daily Prophet and started reading. Harry looked at the front cover and saw a picture of a man that looked familiar, "Who is that man?" he asked. Viola turned the front page to look at it, "You don't know who that is?" she asked, "That is that son of You-Know-Who."
"You-Know-Who has a son?" asked Harry.
"Yeah, I know," said Viola, "That's really hard to believe, I can't believe." She scowled at the picture, "I hate Him so much! When I was a baby, he killed my parents and he tried to kill my twin brother but now I don't know what happened to him!"
"I know how you feel," said Harry, "I lost my parents when I was one."
"That's how old me and my brother were." said Viola.
"Wait, how do you know that?" asked Harry.
"After my family died, I had to live in a new wizard family and when I got older, my adopted parents told me about what happened, they also didn't know what happened to my brother either." she took a picture out of her pocket and handed it to Harry, "That's a picture of my parents and my brother." Harry looked at the picture and saw that it was a copy of a picture of him as a baby with his parents. "Hang on, that's me and those are my parents."
"That's impossible!" Viola said, taking back the picture and looking at it.
"Actually, it is." Harry said opening his trunk, taking out his scrapbook and taking out the same picture, "Here." He handed Viola the picture who took it and gasped.
"Oh my God," she said, "If we both have the same picture of our parents, and if we both lost our parents..."
"Then that must mean we're twins!" Harry finished her setence

Going to the Burrow Part 3

"I can't believe this!" said Viola.
"Neither can I." said Harry, "I mean, where've all this time?"
"I was given to wizard family since you were the one that was in grave danger, not me, so we had to be adopted seperate."
"But why didn't Dumbledore tell me that I had a twin sister?" asked Harry
"Because, he didn't think it was the right time for you to know yet, also, I guess he kinda forgot about me since I went to Beuxbatons instead of Hogwarts."
"But my name has been in the Daily Prophet for a few years now, why didn't you start looking for me?" asked Harry
"Because, my adopted family didn't know what my old last name was." answered Viola
"This is really hard to take in." said Harry
"I know, why were you all this time anyway?"
"At our aunt and uncle's house, they're muggles so I didn't know about our world until I got my letter."
"I wonder why they didn't tell you about me?" asked Viola
"I guess they didn't know you were born since our mum and aunt never talked to eachother anymore before our parents died."
"Total Squib." said Viola
"What do you mean?" asked Harry
"Isn't it obvious?" asked Viola, "Our aunt must be a Squib, why else would she and our mum never talk to eachother, it's because our aunt was jealous of her."
"Hey, you're right!" said Harry, "Why didn't I think of that?"
"I guess after all the things that happened to you you never thought about it." said Viola.
"Yeah, I guess that could explain it." said Harry
"By the way, why are you going to the Burrow anyway?"
"Because I'm staying at a friend's house for the rest of the holiday, also I'm going his older brother's wedding."
"Let me guess, he's marrying Fleur Delacour."
"How did you know that?" asked Harry
"My adopted parents and her parents go way back," said Viola, "So I've been friends with Fleur and her little sister, Gabreille for years."
"That sounds cool," said Harry, "Maybe you can go to the wedding."
"You know, I was planning on it." said Viola, "Okay, I'll go."
"The Knight Bus then suddenly stopped, "Well, here we are." said Viola, "Tell Fleur that I'll be coming there tomorrow."
"Will do." said Harry, "It was great meeting you."
"Same here," said Viola, "See ya."
And with that, the Knight Bus took off at full speed.

Chapter Two: Apparation Tests Part 1

Harry grabbed his trunk and walked towards the Burrow. When he got to the doorstep and knocked, a strange sound came through the door and he heard Mrs. Weasley saying, "Who's there?"
"It's me, Harry." he answered and the door opened to reveal Mrs. Weasley.
"Harry," she said, smiling at the sight of him, which he returned "How wonderful it is to see you again, dear."
"It's great to see you too." said Harry.
"Come on in," Mrs. Weasley said, moving away from the door so that Harry could come inside, but when he came inside, something small and gray ran over to him and started to tug at his pants leg.
"Bad dog, Jack!" Mrs. Weasley scolded and picking up the gray creature that attacked Harry, "Well, I see you've met Ginny's new dog, Jack."
"When did she get a dog?" asked Harry.
"Last week, she found it digging in our yard, we thought it must've been a stray since it didn't have a colar, so we let Ginny keep him."
Harry looked at the dog, he never really liked dogs that much since he had bad experiances with his aunt Marge's dog, Ripper, that involved him being chased up into a tree by him for hours.
"Where's Ron?" asked Harry
"He, Hermione, and Ginny are in his room, where you'll be sleeping, of course." answered Mrs. Weasley, "Could you please take Jack upstairs with you on your way there?" she added holding out the puppy.
"Sure," Harry said, taking the puupy and his trunk out of the kitchen.
"Will you need any help taking your trunk upstairs?" asked Mrs. Weasley.
"No thanks, Mrs. Weasley," Harry said walking up the stairs, "I'm alright." He walked all the way up the stairs until he reached Ron's room and knocked on his door. The door opened to reveal Ron, Hermione, and Ginny. Ginny was sitting on Ron's bed while Hermione was sitting by the window, it looked like they were all talking.
"Hey, Harry." Ron said, smiling.
"Hi, Harry," said Hermione, "How are you?"
"Hey, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, I'm fine thank you." Harry said, walking into the room, "Ginny, you're dog was chewing on my leg." he added, giving Ginny Jack.
"He's always doing that." Ginny said, taking her puppy, "I wanted to name him Chewy but Ron named him instead."
"It ws payback for naming Pig," Ron answered, closing the door, "Now we're even."
"What kind of breed is he anyway?" asked Harry.
"We're guessing that he's a wolf/dog hybrid," answered Hermione.
"How do you know that?" Harry asked, putting his trunk in a corner.
"Before I came to Hogwarts, I used to read about dogs," she answered, "I also used to train them."
"I didn't know that you liked dogs." said Harry
"I like dogs because they're really easy to get along with," said Hermione, "Kinda like people."
"I'm really sad that I won't be able to take Jack to Hogwarts." Ginny said, sadly, while she scratched the back of Jack's ears.
"Well, at least we'll be able to come here during the holidays." said Ron
"I just hope he doesn't run away while we're gone." said Ginny.
"Or attack people." Harry said, looking at the dog.
"What makes you think that he'll hurt someone?" Hermione asked, looking at Harry.
"Because, some wolves or wolf/dogs sometimes hurt people, even purebred dogs do that."
"Besides Sirius in his dog form, name one dog that hurt people." said Ginny
"My aunt's dog, Ripper." Harry said, grudgingly, "When I was little, he chased me up a tree."
"Well, not all dogs are like that." said Ron.
"Well, then I guess I'm not much of a dog person." said Harry.
"So, Harry, how was your summer?" Herrmione asked, trying to change the subject.
"It was dull," said Harry, "Except for the fact that I just found out that I have a twin sister."
"WHAT?!" Ginny, Hermione, and Ron yelled in unision.
"Yeah, I just met her on the way here," said Harry, "She replaced Stan on the Knight Bus, and she's also friends with the Delacours, which reminds me," Harry added, looking at Ron, "Where's Fleur?"
"She's with her family right now," said Ron, "She and Bill are getting married tomorrow, why do you ask?"
"Because I want to ask her why she didn't tell me about my twin sister, Viola."
"I wonder why she never told you." said Ginny.
"Probobly because she didn't like him at the time," suggested Hermione, "I mean, she only started to like him after he got her sister out of the lake."

Apparation Tests Part 2

After lunch, Harry and Ron had t take their Apparation tests.
"I'm kinda excited," said Ron, "What about you?"
Harry shrugged, "A bit."
Mrs. Weasley led them to the fireplace, "Good luck you two."
"Thanks." Ron said grabbing a bit of Floo Powder out of it's flower pot and throwing it into the fire. He walked into the fireplace and said, "Ministry of Magic!" And with that, Ron dissapeared.
"Your turn, Harry." Mrs. Weasley said, offering Harry the flower pot full of Floo Powder, which Harry carefully took out. He threw it into the fireplace, walked into it, and said, "Ministry of Magic!" All of the sudden, he strarted to spin on the spot. Harry kept spinning until after a few minutes, he fell out of the fireplace in Ministry of Magic.
Harry got up and looked around for Ron until he saw him near his fireplace.
"I don't think I'm ever going to get used to that." Ron said when he saw Harry.
Harry shrugged. "It's better than the Night Bus."
"We better get going then." said Ron.
"Do you know where to go?"
"Not really," answered Ron, "I thought you knew."
Harry shook his head, "Maybe we can ask your dad for directions."
"We can't, remember? He's in Romania getting Charlie."
"Oh yeah."
Ron looked around at the passing workers, "Maybe we can someone here for help."
"Yeah," Harry said, walking to a nearby woman and asked, "Excuse me, do you know where the seventh years can take their Apparation tests?"
"Oh yes," the woman said in a familiar voice, "It's over by the Department of Mysteries." The woman turned around and to Harry's surprise, the woman he was talking to was Cho Chang. Cho and Harry stared at eachother, "Oh, hi Harry." said Cho.
"Hi, Cho."
"So, where's Hermione Granger?" Cho coldly asked
"Why do you ask?" asked Harry.
"She's your girlfriend isn't she? Or are you not keeping track of all the girls you've dated?"
"She's not my girlfriend!" Harry retorted, "She's just my friend!"
"Friend? Don't make me laugh! On our date to Hogsmead all you did was talk about her!"
"All I said was that I had to meet her in the Three Broomsticks, I never said I wanted to!"
"Like I said," said Cho, "Don't make me laugh!"
"Look, you know what, I don't have time for this! My friend and I have got Apparation tests to do." Harry walked away from Cho and walked over to Ron.
"I see you've met up with Chang." said Ron.
"Yep, she's still mad at me for what happened in our fifth year." said Harry, "The Apparation Tests are going to be taken by the Department of Mysteries."
"Great, let's go."

Apparation Tests Part 3

Harry and Ron walked down the corridor towards the room next to the Department of Mysteries.
"You all right, Harry?" asked Ron, "You're looking a bit sick."
"I'm fine," said Harry, he felt guilt rising inside him when he saw the entrance to the Department of Mysteries, "Just feeling a bit nervous."
"Me too," said Ron, "We better hurry or we'll be late."
Harry and Ron rushed to entrance and opened the door. Harry and Ron looked around and saw some students from Hogwarts waiting to be tested, some of them they knew; there was Seamus Finnigan, Neville Longbottom, and Parvati Patil from Gryffindor House, Padma Patil, Parvati's sister from Ravenclaw House, Susan Bones from Hufflepuff House, and and Crabbe and Goyle from Slytherin House.
"I can't believe they didn't go with Malfoy." Harry whispered to Ron.
"Probably didn't want to risk getting caught by the Order." muttered Ron.
"Ron, Harry, over here!" Seamus said, gesturing them to join them.
Harry and Ron walked over to Seamus and Neville, "Hey Neville, Seamus," said Harry, "How's your summer doing?"
"It's been kinda the same," answered Seasmus, "And me mam doesn't want me to go to Hogwarts this year."
"Wouldn't be surprised, especially after what happened at the end of last year." Neville said, glumly. Harry guessed that he was still upset about Dumbledore's death.
"She doesn't think that Hogwarts is safe anymore," said Seamus, "Well what are the chances that our home won't be attacked either?"
"Well, I guess we're a bit safe as long as we don't go wandering off at night." said Neville.
"And as long as we make sure that the people we trust aren't just Death Eaters in disguises." Harry said, thinking about how he, Hermione, and Ron were tricked by many of people in disguise.
"Finnigan, Seamus and Longbottom, Neville." someone called out.
"Well, come on, Neville." Seamus said, as he and Neville walked away, "Wish us luck."
Harry watched them leave and looked at Ron, "When do you think we have to take our tests?"
"Probably soon." Ron answered, shrugging his shoulders. Harry looked around and saw a familiar girl, she was the same age as him and Ron, she had long, black hair with curls in it, and she had freckles.
"I'll be right back." Harry said, walking towards the girl. When he was abut a couple of feet away from the girl, she looked up at him and saw that she had recognisable blue eyes.
"Lina?"
"Harry?"
