Hey Everyone! How are you all? Hope everyone is doing alright. Um, someone you make already recognize this fan fiction already because of the title. It's back again for those that enjoyed reading it. For those that are new readers, this story is a bit different from those posted - well, the ships, I should say. I think that's all I have to say...oh, comments are nice. It helps me as a writer to improve when you give me a good comment. Well, I hope you guys will stick with me till the end with this story. The first chapter is a bit short, but trust me, the other chapters are LONG. I tend to write A LOT. XD Are you ready? Grab you popcorn and drink! Story time is about to begin!

Chapter 1: Not Over Him…

Parvati was packing her trunk when her sister Padma came into her room. She glanced up and her sister who she could tell had something on her mind. Parvati and Padma are sisters; but twin sisters. They could almost tell what was on they other’s mind or if something was wrong. Both sisters shared a bond like no other; they shared secrets, memories and pain together like any sisters did. But today Parvati didn’t know if that bond was still there between them when her sister asked the question about him.

“Parvati, um, there’s something I wanted to ask you for about a week now,” Padma said.

“Sure, Padma, what is it?” Parvati asked.

“Um-Parvati, I was wondering if-if it was okay that I asked Harry to end of the year Ball,” Padma replied.

Parvati’s was taken back by what her sister said. How could she ask that question? Padma knew exactly how her sister felt about Harry but Parvati told her that she was over him. But was Parvati really over him?

“Parvati?” Padma said. “You said that you were over him and I just thought-”

“Yeah, yeah, it’s fine Padma,” Parvati smiled.

“Are you sure?” Padma asked.

“Of course I am,” Parvati replied. “I’m over Harry-honestly I am. I mean- we never dated or anything….so, it doesn’t really matter.”

“But you were in love with him,” Padma stated.

“Yeah, well-that’s all in the past now,” Parvati said. “And besides-Harry doesn’t like me like that. He thinks I’m all girly and giggling.”

“You know you should’ve told him how you felt,” Padma said.

“I don’t think that would’ve made a difference Padma,” Parvati looked at her sister. “Um, if you don’t mind, I want to finish packing.”

“Um, sure, okay,” Padma nodded.

When Padma was gone, Parvati walked over to her door and locked it. She fell to the floor and cried. Parvati knew she wasn’t over Harry but she had to tell herself she was to forget about him. Now, her sister wanted to know if it was okay to go out with him. Was this really happening or was it just her imagination? Parvati knew this year wasn’t going to be easy for her.

*falls into thread* Woo! I have two readers! Awesome! I've been waiting on someone to reply so I can post the second chapter! I'm happy you guys like it so far! Okay, here's chapter two! Enjoy!

Chapter 2: Unexpected Company

At Platform 9 ¾ there was a busy buzz of excited students looking forward to a new term at Hogwarts. Many of them were discussing about their summer vacation with friends. Padma looked around and spotted a few of her friends and made her way over to them. Parvati instead headed onto the train and looked for a compartment. She walked all the way to the back of the train looking for a compartment and finally found one. Parvati pulled the shades down and threw herself on the seat. She closed her eyes for not even a second when the compartment door suddenly flew opened and in marched Draco Malfoy with a smirk on his face. Parvati rolled her eyes with uttered disgusted.

“Well, well, look what we have here,” Draco said, smiling.

“Don’t you have some poor defenseless 1st year to rip to pieces?” Parvati spat.

“And miss this amazing opportunity to make you miserable?” Draco told her.

“You know what, go ahead and knock yourself out,” Parvati said. “I really don’t care right now.”

Draco wrinkled his brows together; he leaned against the door and folded his arms. He knew this wasn’t like her. She would never give up an opportunity to fight with him when he attacked her with his remarks. They couldn’t go a day without insults whenever they saw each other.

“What’s up with you?” Draco asked.

“Like you care?” Parvati looked at him.

“I don’t,” Draco said. “But it’s not like you to pass up on insulting me.”

Parvati shrugged.

“Okay, now I’m creep out,” Draco exclaimed. “Not like you to not insult me.”

“Then why don’t you just take advantage of it?” Parvati said.

“It’s not fun if you don’t insult me back,” Draco stated.

“Well, then you’re just going to have to find a substitute for the time being because the insulting Parvati wouldn’t be around,” Parvati said. “So, until then, go find yourself a couple of 1st years’ and beat on them.”

Draco closed the compartment door and took a seat across from her. Parvati wrinkled her brows and looked over at him. Unusual is what just happened Parvati thought.

“Um-did you just decide to switch personalities there for a moment?” Parvati asked. “What are you doing?”

“Finding out what’s wrong with you,” Draco replied.

“Thought you didn’t care?” Parvati smirked.

“Let’s just say for the moment I do,” Draco said.

“Wow, wish I had that on camera,” Parvati told him. “Could’ve been worth millions; I mean-that coming from you? Scary.”

“You’re right that was scary,” Draco said.

“So, what now we two become the best of friends?” Parvati asked.

“And ruin my celebrity status?” Draco said.

“Don’t kid yourself,” Parvati said. “Not many people look at you like that.”

“Yeah, but you do,” Draco smirked.

“And exactly how would you know that?” Parvati asked. “Have you been spying on me?”

“Oh, come on, I see the way you look at me,” Draco smiled. Parvati rolled her eyes. “You think I’m hot.”

“I think you’re a total jerk that’s what I think,” Parvati smiled.

“Denial is the first step of admitting you fancy someone,” Draco stated.

“Since when did you become a relationship therapist?” Parvati asked. “And when did you decide to date Gryffindors?”

“Not any Gryffindors, just you,” Draco replied.

“Okay, you are totally creeping me out,” Parvati exclaimed. “This isn’t the Draco Malfoy that’s my rival enemy.”

“And you aren’t the Parvati Patil that’s my rival enemy,” Draco smirked. “These are two people that are actually getting along.”

“And you like that?” Parvati asked.

Draco shrugged and got up. He walked over to her and leaned over and whispered something into her ears.

“Can’t say I don’t,” Draco whispered. “How about you? If my rival enemy doesn’t return the next couple of days, then I guess I’m stuck with you.

Draco looked at her and smiled. He left Parvati in the compartment alone, bewildered. There was a small smile that appeared on her face. She couldn’t remember the last time that she smiled.

Chapter 3: How You Remind Me

Walking out towards the Quidditch field with a book in her hand and her eyes glued to the pages, Parvati accidentally collided into someone.

“Ah, I’m so sorry!” Parvati said, looking up at the person realizing it was none other then Harry Potter himself. “Oh-Harry…”

“Hey Parvati,” Harry smiled. “How are you?”

“Er- I’m fine…” Parvati replied. “Could be better…” She shrugged. “What about you?”

“I’m doing pretty good actually,” Harry said.

“Good to hear,” Parvati said, nodding.

There was an awkward silence.

“So, what are you reading,” Harry asked, looking at the book in her hand.

“Oh, um-I’m having problems trying to block spells,” Parvati replied. “I’m just reading up on this hoping it’ll help but instead I’m lost then I ever was.”

“Well, how about I help you?” Harry suggested.

“Um-that’s really nice of you Harry but I rather you not,” Parvati said.

“I know I might not be the best teacher but I’m good in Defense Against the Dark Arts,” Harry said.

“Get lost Potter!” Draco said. “She doesn’t need your help; she can take care of herself.”

“Push off Malfoy,” Harry snapped. “She’s my friend.”

“You actually have friends?” Draco asked. “I thought you only hung out with those two losers.”

“Draco,” Parvati looked at him. “Stop it.”

“No, its okay Parvati,” Harry stated. “Come on Malfoy let’s see if you’re tough like the way you talk.”

“Okay, stop it!” Parvati yelled, standing between them. “Both of you.”

“Okay,” Draco said. “If he doesn’t leave, then we’re leaving.”

Draco placed his hand on Parvati.
“Don’t touch her Malfoy!” Harry pushed him.

“Why you-” Draco started to walk towards him but Parvati intervened him just in time.

“Draco, no,” Parvati said. “Look at me…Draco look at me!”

His jawline was visible then ever. Taking his eyes off of Harry, he looked at Parvati.

“Can you please just wait for me over there?” Parvati asked. “I’ll only be a minute.”

“Fine,” Draco replied.

She turned her attention back to Harry. He pulled her into a corner so Draco couldn’t overhear what they were talking about.

“He’s up to something,” Harry warned her.

“And, how would you know that?” Parvati questioned.

“Parvati, he’s Draco Malfoy!” Harry stated. “I really don’t think you should be hanging around him.”

Parvati folded her arms.

“It’s not really for you to decide who I choose to be friends with,” Parvati stated.

“I’m just looking out for you,” Harry said.

“I’m not five years old Harry,” Parvati told him. “I can take care of myself.”

She turned and started to walk away.

“Hey!” Harry called. He walked towards her. “If you still need help with blocking spells, you know where to find me.”

“Thanks,” Parvati smiled. “I’ll think about your offer.”

“Hey-” Harry said, lightly touching her arm. “Be careful, okay?”

“Yes, father,” Parvati smiled.

Harry laughed. Parvati walked over to Draco and smiled.

“Shall we?” Parvati asked.

“We shall my lady,” Draco replied, making her laugh.

Harry stood there watching them as they walked away. Draco turned around and smirked. He smoothly placed his arms around Parvati, who looked at him bewildered. Harry shook his head.

“I have a bad feeling about this…” He murmured.

“What are you doing?” Parvati asked.

“Playing the part,” Draco replied.

“Yeah, well, you better play the part and remove your arm before I break it off,” Parvati warned.

“I know you had it in you Parvati,” Draco said.

She raised her eyebrow.

“What happened to Patil?” She asked.

“I thought she wasn’t around?” Draco asked.

“She’s not,” Parvati replied.

“Okay, then,” Draco said. “Well, I have an offer for this Parvati Patil.”

“And, what exactly would that be?” Parvati asked.

Chapter 4: Friends

“Well?” Parvati asked, impatiently. “Are you going to tell me or not?”

Draco, still smiling, took her hand and twirled her around. He pulled her close to him and swayed as if there was music in the background. Parvati was befuddled by his actions and didn’t know what just happened.

“Are we preparing for the Royal Ball?” Parvati asked, amused.

“I like dancing mind you,” Draco replied.

“Wow…” Parvati said, impressed.

“What?” Draco asked.

“Nothing…” Parvati smiled. “Are you going to tell me this offer or what?”

“I’m getting there,” Draco said. “Patience, my love.”

“We all know that’s something you don’t have,” Parvati smirked.

“Who wants that when you have looks, hmm?” Draco said.

Parvati rolled her eyes.

“Yes, yes, we get the point that you’re drool worthy,” Parvati stated.

“And she finally admits it ladies and gentlemen,” Draco smiled. “Shall we give her around of applause?”

Draco started clapping his hands together. Parvati couldn’t help but laugh.

“Drool worthy and funny,” Parvati commented. “What else can a girl ask for?”

“Let’s give her another around of applause ladies and gentlemen,” Draco said.

“Enough!” Parvati chuckled. “Now, can you please tell me what this ‘offer’ is?”

“I was thinking about what you said in the train and I think we should do it,” Draco said.

“Do what?” Parvati asked, confused.

“Be friends,” Draco simply replied.

Parvati busted out in laughter.

“Wow, I didn’t see that coming!” Parvati manage to say. She looked at Draco and saw that he wasn’t laughing. “You’re serious, aren’t you?”

“Yes,” Draco said.

“You-you wanna be friends with-with a Gryffindor?” Parvati stuttered.

“Well, unless you want to be more then friends,” Draco implied.

“Are you feeling alright?” She walked towards him and placed her hand on his forehead.

“I’m fine,” He said, pushing her hand away.

Parvati raised an eyebrow and studied him hard.

“You know what, I’m beginning to think that Harry was right,” Parvati said. “You are up to something.”

“I’m not up to anything!” Draco protested. “Parvati-” He placed his hand on her.

“Don’t touch me,” Parvati pulled away.

“You trust Potter over me?” Draco growled.

“I would trust Harry over you any day,” Parvati stated. “What the bloody hell do you think!”

“At least I wouldn’t hurt you like he did,” Draco smirked.

“What is that supposed to mean?” Parvati asked.
“Why don’t you figure it out,” Draco said, and then left.

Parvati wrinkled her brows together and watched as he walked away. At least she and Draco were back at insulting each other. She was befuddled as to what he meant as she headed to the Gryffindor’s Common Room. Harry would never hurt her, so what was Draco playing at? As she approached the common room, she spotted her sister Padma talking to Harry. Parvati quickly ducked into a corner so they wouldn’t see her. She watched the two from where she was; Harry and Padma were smiling and laughing. The question replayed in her mind that her sister asked about Harry.

“Um-Parvati, I was wondering if-if it was okay that I asked Harry to end of the year Ball,” Padma replied.

Parvati always loved her sister and wanted to see her happy, but knowing that Padma had fancied the boy that she was in love with was too hard for her to deal with. She couldn’t do anything but be happy for both of them. It was her fault not telling Harry how she felt about him in the first place.

“There’s only one thing to do…,” Parvati mumbled to herself.

Chapter 5: Get Over it

Parvati sat in the library the whole day trying to read her book, but in her mind she was debating whether or not she should do the one thing that would maybe solve her problems. Slamming the book shut, she sat back in her seat and sighed. Parvati ran her fingers through her silky black hair; placing her arms on the table, she closed her eyes and rubbed her temples.

“There you are!” a familiar voice said merrily.

Parvati opened her eyes and wrinkled her brows together. She looked at who her intruder was.

“I’ve been looking for you all over the place,” Padma stated, taking a seat next to her sister. “You’ve been in here all the time?”

Parvati nodded. “What do you want?”

“Well…” Padma grinned. “I asked Harry if he would like to come with me to Hogsmeade this weekend and he said sure!”

“Oh-well, I’m happy for you,” Parvati said, but it didn’t seem like she was.

“I was wondering if you would like to join us?” Padma asked.

“And what feel like the third wheel?” Parvati snapped.

“What’s wrong with you?” Padma wrinkled her brows together.

“Nothing, I’m fine,” Parvati lied.

“Are you?” Padma implied. “I think you’re upset that I asked Harry if he would like to come to Hogsmeade with me. You know I asked you before if you were okay with this and you said you were. You’re not really over him, are you?”

Parvati looked away from her sister.

“Well, you know what Parvati, you had your chance to tell him that you were in love with him but you didn’t,” Padma reminded her. “I’m with him now, so you need to get over it.”

Padma got up and walked away with a smile on her face. Parvati was so furious that she stormed out of the library and went to look for the one person she had in her mind all day. She knew he was somewhere around; walking outside she spotted a group kids and the one person she was looking for. Parvati made her way over to the group of kids that were laughing.

“Hey, Draco, can I speak to you for a minute?” Parvati asked.

Draco, still laughing, turned around and wrinkled his brows together.

“That all depends on what you want,” Draco smirked.

“You,” Parvati simply said.

Chapter 6: Gossip

Padma was heading to the Great Hall when someone had called her name. She turned around to see Seamus Finnigan running to catch up with her. Padma stopped and waited for him.

“Hey,” Seamus managed to say. “I’ve been looking for you every where.”

“What for?” Padma asked, as she continued on walking.

“I heard you told Parvati about you and Harry going to Hogsmeade this weekend,” Seamus stated.

“Yeah, I did,” Padma replied. “Who told you?”

“You’ve been at this school for how long now?” Seamus asked. “You should know how news spread! I’m surprised it’s not in the Daily Prophet! I can see the headline in my mind: Harry Potter takes a break to focus on his love life; the mystery girl is none other then Padma Patil, the twin of Parvati Patil that Mr. Potter took to the Yule Ball. Last we heard that Parvati was secretly in love with Harry, is she still in love with him? Could this be a love triangle?”

“You should consider starting your own gossip column in the Daily Prophet then Seamus,” Padma said.

“So, it’s true?” Seamus asked.

“All I did was asked him if he wanted to hang out and he said sure,” Padma replied. “That doesn’t mean we’re dating.”

“Then why did you tell Parvati she needs to get over it?” Seamus asked.

“If I didn’t know better Seamus, I’d say you’re trying to get information from me so you could actually start that gossip column,” Padma looked at him and smiled.

“I have all the information I need,” Seamus smirked. “Including the one about your sister becoming friends with Malfoy.”

“What?” Padma wrinkled her brows together and looked at him. “She’s what?”

“Parvati decided to join the dark side,” Seamus nodded. “Sad, but true.”

“That was something I didn’t expect her to do…” Padma mumbled.

“Padma, I basically know everything about you and I know what you’re going to do,” Seamus stated.

“Been stalking me have you Finnigan?” Padma smiled.

“Every chance I get,” Seamus smirked. “So, what are we going to do about your sister?”

“Don’t worry about her…she wants to play these little games then I’ll let her,” Padma stated. “She wouldn’t know what hit her.”

“Oh, sexy and evil,” Seamus commented.

“Thank you,” Padma smiled.
