The Lagoon - Fiji With stunning reefs and white sandy beaches that line the spectacular crystal blue water, it is one of the most popular places for both witches, wizards and muggles alike to visit. Exotic palms trees dot the shores, and rare exotic birds fly over head as you relax on the beach or swim in the azure waters of the lagoon. With white sandy beaches, swaying coconut trees, and pristine ocean surrounding Fiji, the lagoon is a nice quiet spot where you can relax and enjoy everything around you. |
Ern? Rose? ANYONE. Hehe. Um HELLO? Why had she not been here sooner? WHY. Lexi had always thought nothing could be more beautiful than Santorini, but Fiji had proven otherwise. The blonde lay on her oversized beach towel, soaking up sun, book in hand, coconut-y drink beside her in the sand. At first she had been sad about being alone on this trip, but after arriving she realized it was just what she needed to get her head together. Head. Together. In paradise. Sans kids, divorce drama MILES AND MILES AND MILES away. This was the life. |
Quote:
Might as well enjoy it while she can, right? "Mind if I join you?" She spotted a younger blond woman on the beach, and Stella put out her towel and seated herself. "Where'd you get that drink? Is it good?" |
Quote:
She blinked behind her sunglasses for a moment and glanced down at her drink. "I brought it down from the resort. You could try it if you like. It's a coconut something or other. It's very refreshing." SMILES. "I'm Lexi Kennedy- Salander, by the way. And you are?" |
Quote:
"No, that isn't right. I'll go retrieve one myself in a bit if I'm particularly parched. I have water in my bag, but that looks so cool and lovely and not... from inside my bag." And she wasn't going to spend all her funds the first day on fancy drinks. "Stella Wojack. From London." |
Aleksandra lead the way down the beach, shaded eyes sweeping the area for the right spot to sit. She hadn't been anywhere this warm in a while, and she certainly hadn't had a proper vacation from everything in almost a year. It had been easy to agree to come on this vacation, especially since she'd be in such handsome company. "Here is good," She paused and glanced back at Noel with a slight smirk, dropping her shoes to the sandy ground. "Here is much better than a Bermuda." Even if it was a bit more crowded that the other beach. |
Invading the thread with blue font XD Quote:
He stopped next to Aleksandra, placing the blankets and chairs down in position. "I 'ear zat zeir sand is pink." Just after setting up the second chair, he looked up to his company, squinting in the sunlight but still all smiley. "And coarse." |
XD it goes so well with all the pinkish colors Quote:
While it was never her intention to cover even more of him, he seemed to be having issues with the sun and those would surely make looking around easier on his vision. "You could've changed in the bungalow. I would have waited." Because, you know, she was a good friend. |
Quote:
He could see a little bit of smirk on her face, but after the shades were slipped onto his face, he could see the smile clearly. She wasn't being serious. A great relief. "Your right. We got ze better end of ze deal eizer way." Sitting relaxed in the second chair, adjusting the shades and slipping off his shoes, he looked down to his outfit. Well, yes, he was a little more covered up than usual for being at a beach. "Oh, non, it's fine. I only need sun...'ere..." The young man gestured to his arms. Should be thankful he didn't burn easily otherwise, that would be one giant farmer's tan. |
Quote:
The young woman considered that for a moment. "When you get hot, we'll go swim." It was decided. "But until then, you should tell me how work's been." Only this one time though, the rest of the trip would be devoid of any work talk after this. |
Quote:
"Well the offer stands if you wish to try it before purchasing it," Lexi assured her. And it was DEFINITELY better than water. It didn't make Lex feel queasy like most everything did these days... and THAT was a great thing. "Lovely to meet you, Stella. I am from... Godric's Hollow originally, but I have lived all over Europe at this point." And visited most every other country within a reasonable distance from there. "Are you here with family?" Lexi asked with a hint of sadness to her voice... |
Quote:
Though if she were truly concerned... Sitting up, he pulled off his shirt, laying it to the side on the blanket so it didn't get all sandy. "Zere. Not so warm zen." He grinned and relaxed in the chair again, thoroughly amused. Wasn't there a no work talk rule? "I'm still a teacher's assistant at ze Luxembourg Academy of Magic. 'aven't found a teaching job elsewhere, zough..." He Slumped a little more in his seat to get a little more comfortable. "I do get ze class to myself when the professor is away for whatever reason." He smiled and looked towards Sandra. "How about yourself?" |
Quote:
"Fine, you've worn me down. I'll try it." Stella finished lathering and offered the potion to the woman before taking the umbrella drink. It was quite refreshing... and a shame she'd have to walk up the beach to get one for herself. A handsome man could bring her one, kthx. "So also from the UK. That's super." She settled back into her seat, pausing over the question as she decided how much she trusted the woman. It would be hard for anyone to find her here, and she'd chosen this spot of beach... "I have a daughter, but she's at home with her father. They thought it might be nice for me to get away on my own." Sort of. |
Liz..... Clad in an open shirt, swimming trunks and sun glasses to shade his dark eyes from the sun Lucas made the short walk from his bungalow down to the white sandy beach. Choosing a spot for himself on the sand not too far away from the spectacular crystal blue water he kicked off his shoes. Pulling out a blanket out of his beach bag he spread it out on the sand. Taking his shirt off Lucas lied down on the blanket and closed his eyes for a moment to just relax and take in the sounds around him of the trees and exotic birds flying overhead as well as the people around. It was nice to be on vacation even if he still felt a little guilty about leaving the blond from the lobby without knowing if her friend eventually had showed up or not. But given that Lucas hadn't see her in the hotel restaurant later the night before he figured that Willow’s friend had showed up in the end. |
Quote:
Halfway across the sand she noticed Lucas laying on a blanket and hesitated, he wouldn't very well be interested in seeing her again, and would probably just think of her as a nuisance just someone bored because her friend wasn't anywhere around. She'd left a text message with Noah but hadn't heard back. Still hesitating she finally just set her blanket a short distance from Lucas. But not too close. Figuring he'd definitely not want her too close. She was determined to be aloof and maybe...act like she didn't realize he was there? Dropping her book and sandals on the blanket, Willow headed for the water, twisting her long hair up onto her head so she could wade in the water, feeling the sand squish between her toes. |

Smiling, Lexi took the potion, eyed it curiously and set it aside. No need for that. Heh. "Good, right?" BEAM. It helped Lexi's tummy not feel so icky and it was all natural apparently. Couldn't hate that. Nodding her head Lexi stretched slightly and smiled brighter. "Oh that's nice! I have two children, twins actually. But... my daughter is with her uncle at the moment." No mention of the son since her husband had him... and well she didn't get to see him at all. Ever. Lexi's face fell for a moment and she paled slightly... Shaking herself she put her smile back in place and shrugged her shoulders. "It's nice to have a get away from time to time." Even though Lexi probably shouldn't have been traveling alone she had set off for Fiji with no one but her family knowing. And they would never tell a soul. Ever. "I was thinking of going to the spa later... if you'd like to go along." Neither of them had company, right? They could hang out a little. Heh. |
Quote:
Though standards where always a good thing to have. "I'm still working independently, though I've garnered a few offers to join companies." But Sandra just wasn't sure she wanted to join one just yet. Not until they made it worth her while at least. "I brought some with me, those we'll need, but this place is so well stocked..." Still she always came prepared. Her eyes flicked to the waters briefly. "I don't think.... I've ever tried any of the muggle sports they're playing." |

Opening his eyes he watched the back of the blond from the previous day as she headed down in the direction of the water dressed in a blue bikini. Sitting himself up, Lucas took off his glasses and placed them in beach bag before he started to walk towards Willow. He still felt guilty about just leaving her in the lobby so he figured he’d at least ask if her friend had arrived since she hadn’t been in the hotel restaurant. Wading out into the water a little distance beside Willow he greeted her with friendly smile as he came level with her "Hi, Willow!" Pause. "Did your friend show up last night since I never saw you at the restaurant?" he wondered. Digging his toes into the sand Lucas gazed out over the crystal blue water. |
Quote:
"No." she said shaking her head "I think he's avoiding my calls and texts too." she said shrugging. Maybe something had happened, she wasn't sure but well she'd find out soon enough if it did she was sure. For now she'd just enjoy herself, alone yes but well, she was enjoying Lucas's company each time he appeared! "Did you ever find your friend?" Yep she'd remembered! "I fell asleep." she said wrinkling her nose, "Didn't mean to but when I arrived you'd left already." She'd hoped to catch him, but couldn't imagine him waiting when he'd not been sure if she'd even appear! "I hope you didn't wait too long!" |

His mate hadn’t been much better Lucas admitted silently but at least he had received a text in the middle of the night from him. If Noah hadn’t sent him that then he’d be worried now. Feeling the water lap around his feet Lucas replied. "My mate never showed up but at least he sent me a text albeit a cryptic one." Shrug. "Oh, we could try for a reign-check tonight if you want?" Lucas offered impulsively. Just as he did so he wanted to kick himself. He was on vacation not here to find ‘the right woman’ but it would be nice to eat in the company of someone rather than alone. Oh shuck it Lucas decided. Why not enjoy the vacation and have fun with Willow when his path crossed hers and then let whatever happened happen. "Want to swim around the lagoon with me?" Lucas wondered. |
Quote:
Making a face as he said his mate hadn't come either. "I'm sorry to hear that. Sounds like we're both in that situation." Meh, well at least they could enjoy the vacation anyway. A smile blossomed on her face as he offered the raincheck for the dinner "I'd like that. A lot." she said quietly looking up at him. She'd not expected the offer, but it was very welcome! She wasn't looking forward to another night alone at dinner, and was thinking on just taking it back to the bungalow otherwise. Grinning even more she nodded "Sounds perfect." Slipping her sunglasses off the top of her head she turned and tossed them onto her blanket back on the beach, watching as it fell just short off the blanket she shrugged "Are you ready?" |
Quote:
Lucas eyes widened what friend didn’t get on the plane when you had planned a vacation together and then didn’t have the guts to say that their plans had changed? Noah was the name that came to mind. Listening to Willow’s wild guesses a hunch which he just knew right surfaced in his mind. Shaking his head tried to piece his idea together. "Did you say that your friend’s name was Noah?" "My best mate’s name is Noah Plummer. He has a steady girlfriend but has lots of crazy plans which he tries to put into action. Most of them changes or backfires before I usually manage to understand the gist of them, sound familiar?" "I think us meeting on this island vacation isn’t a coincidence at all I think he set it up for us." Lucas stated. "I hope that doesn’t freak you out." He hurriedly added. He didn’t want Willow to think that he had anything to do with Noah’s plan. He had just wanted a vacation. A broad smile lit up Lucas face when he heard Willow accept his dinner offer. He wondered though if she’d take it back now, knowing that it was a set up. Lucas nodded. "Yes I’m ready," To go swim that is. When Noah called which he would sooner or later Lucas was going to demand an explanation. |
Quote:
Nodding "I think your right." Looking out over the water she shook her head her eyes twinkling in laughter "No not at all. The vacation might not have been a coincidence but destiny. Everything happens for a reason." she said quietly, "Even if it's not planned." Looking back over at him, she offered him a shy smile. Though she really didn't need to feel shy it kind of drifted over her anyway, knowing that they'd been placed here together by a mutual friend. "I guess I can't say I mind all that much." she said softly. Seeing his face light up into a smile after she said she'd go to dinner with him, it warmed her all the way through. She knew now that she'd definitely made a great decision to go and take him up on that. She was totally looking forward to it now too! "I can't wait." she murmured. Nodding she flashed him a smile "Ok." Wading out further into the water she continued til she was past waist deep before sinking below the water to get used the water fully before the swim and dove underneath to get fully wet. |
<3<3 Bleh. My fault. Quote:
"The spa?" Was that included? Probably. And maybe she'd get one of these coconut drinks too while she was spa-ing. "Yes, that sounds good. I want to see and do as much as I can. I don't take vacations nearly often enough." She settled back against her chair and towel again and closed her eyes against the bright sun. "What do you do when you aren't on vacation?" |
Sarah XD The lagoon was very pretty. In whole the whole islands were pretty. "It's so beautiful." Felicity smiled as she looked up at Gabriel. She was pretty glad that they had chosen this location for their honeymoon. It was also much warmer than it would've been back home in England. It was mid-winter, and Fliss wasn't really that much of a winter person. She much preferred the sun, and being tanned. She swung their arms a little as thy walked along the beach. It was nice feeling the sand between the toes. She didn't go to the beach nearly enough back at home. Probably because she lived in London. Perhaps she would make more of a thing about going to the beach. Maybe she could take Little Nova with her, considering that her sister was back in the country now. She'd mention it to Brody when they got back home. "I'm glad we came here." She spoke again a few minutes later. It was really nice, and he did deserve a break. He worked for very hard. |
