Okay, guys! Since you're all asking about Discussions here is the first topic (cause I know you'll jump at it STAT): "Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen: Nay or Hear Hear?"

Remember to keep your opinions SS friendly, no bashing or insulting anyone, including other members. This is a Den of Peace. Okay? So I'll go first.

Robert is a wonderful actor. I haven't been able to see all of his works FULLY but I have caught clips and glimpses of the different characters he has portrayed and I must say that each of the roles he has done so far is completely different from one another proving his versatility as an actor. Meaning, unlike some actors (I won't name which but I'm sure Nabs knows), he plays his character not himself in a situation.


ALSO. In other news, Nabiya gave us an idea to promote the RPFC. It is obvious that Rob's most obvious physical attribute is his eyebrows so this activity shall be called: "Who's Brow Hair, Is this Hair?"

I was thinking our members (I prefer all members but only those who want to participate is fine too) should have skinny siggies (I'll have an example soon) of eyebrows from different actors in their signatures with the above text, which is the name of the activity. That should have a link bringing the clicker back to this FC, possibly to a sole post where I shall have the actual pictures and names of the actors in participating member's signatures.

You know, something funny and lively to attract members. What do you think?

I was a bit skittish about ANYONE being our Edward at first. See, I never really like when my fav books become movies, as they never live up to my standards, but I've grown fond of the idea. I do think his facial features are stoney enough for Edward. Not to mentioned that I've pretty much loved Robert since GoF. I have faith in RPat, I think he'll be great! *gulp* I hope... O_O

OMG! I totally agree with you on this one. I have tried to imagine Rob playing Edward and it seems promising.

I also agree with what Le said in that it is hard to convert books to movies to me. I was soooo depressed about the last HP movie that I still have only watched it 1 time all the way thru. It was my favorite book and there were things in that book that I held dear to my heart, and still do.

I have seen on the web that there are several people who have given their views of movie posters and such with Rob in them and what they chose, was pretty good. It is also going to be interesting how his accent will be. *le sigh* Rob was great in GOF so I expect great things from him in Twilight as well.

I'm really hoping the movie will mostly stick to the plot. I mean, yeah I know they'll have to change a few stuff, but I hope they stick to the actual plot and not deviate that much...OoTP deviated too much. No quidditch, no hogsmeade, no Weasley is our king. NOWAI!!!!!

I also agree with books-turned-to-movies thing, I was really dissapointed with HP5 as well, to the point where I was like and started to worry about the next 2..(now I'm kinda over that thought)..Went thru that so many times, with LOTR(3rd), HP(5th only), even The Shinning (the book freaked me out) , and I'm just hoping that they do Twilight good..

As far as Robert..well, I'm not sure, I'm trusting on him that he'll do this perfectly and we'll have our Edward portrayed amazingly ..but I haven't finish re-reading and I'm having a hard time picturing him as Ed (don't know why)...I'm guessing I'll love it when I'm done

Step 1: Choose a Signature.
- Like I said, I made four. You may choose whichever one you like best. Remember to save to your own computer and uploading to your PB account if you have one or imageshack.

Step 2: Choosing A Quote(s)
- Below these instructions, along with the images I will supply you with several SS friendly possibly hilarious quotes of Robert Pattinson. You may choose one or two. The images are rather small in height so you can just choose one quote and leave enough space for whatever text you usually put in your signature.

Step 3: Pimpin' Rob Out, Yo!
Whatever quote you choose remember to put the text: "Which Hair, Is this Hair?" and link back to the first post of this FC. You can also actually make the image itself be a link if you so like.
