The Office of Leonardo De la Buena, Department Head
Reagan Taylor EraAll historical records pertaining to Ministry of Magic RPG under Minister for Magic, Brennan Cooper [IC January 2068 - December 2072; OOC January 2010 - September 2010]
When you enter the office, the first thing you notice is the massive easel that almost blocks the door. Squeezing past it, you take in the spacious room along with the bare naked walls. There is nothing much on them except for a word on the left side wall, written with a brush. It reads; 'Hello!'.
There's a bookshelf to the right, packed with Artsy books, and ofcourse his most favourite comics...like Superman, X-Men and Star Wars. Go ahead and read them if you want.
At the center of the room, you will find his desk, a large floweryswivel chair behind it (to spin in ofcourse!) and also two comfy chairs infront, should anyone want to sit and have a chat.
The large window behind the desk lets in plenty of sunshine. A bowl of fruit rests on the desk, and also a wide variety of brushes and tubes of color. You are more than welcome to use them...why not smudge your hands with some and make a nice print on the walls? They sure need some color.
The door to his office is always open, but should it be closed due to an important meeting or such, please knock and await for him to invite you in. Though knocking even when it's open would be nice aswell ; )

Ronan Cavanaugh had heard that the new Department Head of the Department of Education had been selected and he decided to act as spokesperson from the work area to welcome him into their department of the Ministry.
Hands in his pockets, the young man noticed that the door to the office was slightly ajar, but nonetheless, he thought it necessary to knock on the door with a firm hand. Ronan waited patiently for some sort of answer and put his hands back in his pockets as he waited to be addressed by the occupant within the office.

Leo was staring at the wall, scratching his chin and trying to think of something...anything to paint on it. He could see swirls, and dots and-
There was knocking! "Come iiin!" Leo called out, still not taking his eyes of the wall. Maybe a flower here and there...yeees..."And watch out for the...stuff by the door." He wasn't sure if the easel was still there...he was too occupied with the whiteness of the wall.
Maybe whomever it was behind the door would be able to help! Aha!

Ronan smiled briefly to himself as he opened the door carefully, revealing himself to the man inside.
"Hello there. I just came to introduce myself. I'm Ronan Cavanaugh." the young man said with a cheerful expression. He looked around the office, taken aback by its new white walls realizing how different it looked from the previous office space that was there.
"Looks like you've got a lot of work of getting settled in here." Ronan noted as he turned his attention back to the man and stepped into the office.
"If you'd like some help, I'm always free for redecorating. I've done a lot in my home recently."
Scratch chin. Hearing the voice of one of the employees, Leo turned and greeted the man with a broad smile. "Mr Cavanaugh, very nice to meet you!" His spanish accent trickling into his words. Leo watched the man walk inside the office and extended his hand for the man to shake. "I am Leo Buena." Nevermind the long name he had, the short version would be enough.
"Ah, alot of work...yes..." he said, a slight look of crazy scientist in his eyes, "But that is the BEAUTY!" He turned and grabbed a small tube of oil paint from his desk and then adressed Ronan again. He wanted to help, that was most exellent. "Your hand please." he said seriously and waited.
But now, most importante, the hand."Yes please..." Leo was grinning on the inside, but he tried not to show it. He grabbed the mans hand, turning it so his palm faced up and squeeed the paint tube, smudging the Ronan's hand with some blue paint. Exellente!"If you please," Leo indicated at the wall.
And then he waited...for Ronan to put his blue handprint on the white wall.

Ronan was surprised by the sudden cold and squishy feeling of the blue paint being poured at his hand. He looked down in alarm and then up to the man trying to no look so incredibly surprised by the whole thing.
'If you please.'
Ronan looked from the wall to the man and back. A wicked grin came upon his face and he went over to the perfect white wall and carefully placed his handprint on the wall and then peeling his hand away looking at the masterpiece.
"This is an excellent idea!" he said, commending the Department Head.
Briony walked down the narrow hallway she had walked so many times before. For almost a year really. She thought about the Heads before and just felt obligated to meet this new one. This Department had been a home ever since moving back to London a year ago. She stopped in front of the doors and straightened the skirt she wore and tucked her blond hair behind her ear. She gave a softer knock and mentally reminded herself not to be so soft.

Still waiting for whomever it was that knocked, Leo gave Ronan a curious sideways glace, but then raised an eyebrow as ANOTHER knock was heard. Thinking that maybe the person hadn't heard his earlier invite to enter, Leo decided to go and open the door a bit more, lest the person walk away or something. "Please, do come in!" He grinned, swinging the door open and gesturing for the person on the other side of the threshold to step inside.

He listened to the man as he introduced himself, nodding and reaching out a hand for the man to take. "Pleasure to meet you, Chad." Leo felt his cheeks working extra mucho this last couple of minutes - with the fun grinning and all. "Leo Buena, how nice of you to stop by." Indeed!

"Hello there Mr Stryker. I'd shake you hand but as you can see.." the young man held up his blue hand, "..I wouldn't want to stain yours as well."

The young man's expression grew brighter again. "Brilliant! I rather do enjoy enjoy this project. It's always good to have a bit of color in the workplace I think." he said before glancing over to the desk, allowing the two other men to have a chat.
Looking down at the desk, Ronan observed the various colors he could use and being the true former Ravenclaw, picked up the bottle of silver paint and put a large goop of the paint on his hand before walking over to his lone hand print on Leo's wall and pressing his other hand next to the blue print.
"There!" he exclaimed, looking impressed by his handiwork and then down at his dirtied hands laughing despite himself.
He was about to offer Ronan some more paint (hehe), when there was another knock at the door. Leo's eyes widened with excitement as he gave Ronan a look, and then turned to the door. "Please, do come in!"
Oooooooooh, who could it BEEE??
Briony heard the 'okay' from the Department Head and she walked into his office. She was very surprised to see what was going on. It looked like they were painting the walls. With their hands! She couldn't have been more impressed. She gave Ronan a friendly smile along with another Department Head she had seen. The petite blond looked at apparently the new artist of the Department.
"Hello sir, I've dropped by to introduce myself and to meet the new Department Head of this lovely Department," she explained. Yeah cause she was on her way out. Let's not think of the negative though.

Coming back to the level 2 after lunch, Ryan walked in the corridor playfully waving his jacket in his hand and whistling a lively melody. And once he turned the corner he made his way towards to the offices yet he halted both walking and whistling when he heard voices coming from the office of department head. So the new deparment head has finally arrived. Nice. And he needed to meet him asap.
So, putting his jacket on his left arm, the man coughed ligtly to clear his throat and kindly knocked on the door.

Seraphina strolled into the office just as it turned 8:00. She was perfectly on time, which was definitely NOT the norm, and in Seraphina's book meant that today was going well. She giggled to herself and then stopped abruptly when the sound of her own laugh surprised her. It had been so long since she had felt like laughing. As she walked down the hall thinking, she noticed that a new sign stood on the door of the Department Heads office. Seraphina figured she should probably introduce herself since she never even met the woman who hired her. She walked up to the door and knocked gently, since she thought she heard voices inside.

I have been wishing like a little kid of a pet, but with the moving and the new work, I just haven't had the time... A little dog... Ay, if only. But maybe one day soon." He nodded with a smile. "I bet you have a wonderful time in your Department with the animals, si?" Oops, watch your spanish there.
And then Ronan was pretty into the painting. Leo had to hand it to him, he was quite enthusiastic. "Ah, marvelous. See, that's art!" Hehe! He grinned at the man. "Here," he turned to his desk again, moving around all the 'trash' he had on it and found a pretty clean rag. "If you wan't to clean your hands. Or maybe you want to go decorate your work space?" Really, like why not. "Take a brush if you want, might be easier to decorate. I bet you're a wiz with a brush!" OR he could keep splashing about on the walls. Hehe.

Briony smiled and walked forward picking up an apple. "Alright then," she said, still seeming to be amused. She honestly couldn't help herself. She turned around and saw Ryan and rolled her eyes, turning her head around and taking a bite into the apple. Oooh! She had forgotten to mention her own name. Embarrassing.... "I'm Briony sir," came her reply after swallowing the apple piece she had chewed. "Briony Whitehall. You are?" She really hadn't figured out his name yet.

Paint. At first Ryan got surprised at the very warm welcome since he was not used to it much mostly people considering him a trouble and a know-it-all babbler just like Helena knew. Yet this man probably had not heard of him before so maybe...whatever. There was no point of guessing how he was like without even seeing the man. Ah, yes the new boss was a man.
Slightly grinning he opened the door and stepped inside then quickly looked around to take in everything and all the changes in the office. When Antigone was working here it was all too neat but this...was good. ''Hello sir'' he said ''My name is Ryan Chambers, i am the leading Inspector and i do like the colour navy. May i have some navy paint?'' They were painting hehe fun

The young man turned at the sound of Leo's voice and gladly took the rag from him and began to wipe at his hands.
"Y'mean it? We can just paint at our desks? Oh this is rather brilliant!" Ronan exclaimed leaning over and grabbing for a brush to use at his desk.
"Well Mister Buena, I will take my leave here." the young man said as he grabbed the blue and silver paints.
"If you'd like to come visit my desk later, I can show you what I've done to decorate it."
