And hanging on the wall right next to her office door is a large wooden box with a slit in the top, perfect for placing all your important departmental papers in for her review.



Please, feel free to knock on the door and see if Miss Everhart is in. She would love to sit down and have a chat with you about anything! As the door swings open, you see a warm and spacious office. It's as cozy as a sitting room! The high windows at the back are enchanted with a spectacular, tranquil view.



Upon a closer inspection of the office, it is apparent what the most important things are to Miss Everhart. Scattered around the office are pictures of her fiance, his family, her goddaughters, brother, sister-in-law, parents, and her dog Linus.

Once she tells you to enter, feel free to come on in, have a cup of tea, talk about your day or work. Whatever you'd like! Watch out for discarded shoes next to the door, though!

J.J. Starr knocks on thee door of the new department head. Joe Jon Montcenaggio is there to congratulate her on her new assignment, J.J. will tell her he applied for the position but the best person got the job.

After hearing a knock on her door, Chloe quickly jumped up from her desk and scampered over to see who it was. Oo! First visitor! Opening the door, she smiled at the man only to find that she has met this man once before. "Mr. Starr! I heard this was your new department after you transferred! Please, come in!" she said with a bright smile, stepping out of the doorway and gesturing the man inside. "Please, have a seat!" she urged with a gesture to the couch as she made herself comfortable in one of the armchairs.

Thank you Mrs. Everheart" J.J. Starr told her. ' I wanted to welcome you to the department and am looking forward to working closely with you " joe Jon Montcenaggio said to Chloe. "Should I call you Chloe or Mrs. Everheart?" J.J. asked her. " I wanted thid job badly but the best person won" J.J. Starr forced a polite smile through sadness.

"Oh! Thank you, Mr. Starr! That is very kind of you! And please call me Miss Everhart. I'm not married.... yet," she said with the smallest hint of a girlish giggle as she subconsciously wiggled her left hand, causing her engagement ring to sparkle in the light. "Yes, I imagine that many people wanted the position very badly, Mr. Starr, as did I. I am very confident in my ability to do the job well, and I greatly appreciate your support!" she said, in a kind voice, still smiling at the man. "Please, come by and talk to me any time you want!"

" Miss Everheart, I just got married this year too" J.J. Starr told her. " I am married to Katalin Jamieson, well now Star/Montcenaggio. " My name is really Joe Jon Montcenaggio , but I want my friends to call me J.J. Starr, so please call me J.J. Starr" he explained to his new boss. "Anything you want, I will do it" J.J. re-assured Miss Everheart.

Chloe beamed at J.J. as he spoke of his recent marriage. "Well, my congratulations, Mr. Starr!" she said in a chipper voice. "And do not take this the wrong way, but I will continue to call you Mr. Starr. It is just an office policy. It helps breed an atmosphere of mutual respect," she explained carefully. Her employees would quickly learn that respect for themselves and others was of the utmost importance to Chloe, and disrespect of any sort would not be tolerated in this department. "And thank you for your willingness to help out! I greatly appreciate it, and I will let you know if I need anything," Chloe said to him. "Is there anything else, Mr. Starr?" she asked kindly. She was not trying to rush him, but she simply didn't want to keep him from his work.

" Nothing else Miss Everheart" J.J. Starr told her. " I like being called Mr Starr, thanks" joe Jon Montcenaggio explained to Miss Everheart. "Congratulations on your upcoming marriage and glad I met you" J.J. said to her. J.J. Starr left her office.

Asher managed to find Chloe one way or another by word of mouth where her office was located, and upon finding it he stared at the door and the shiny plaque that labeled it Chloe's office for a minute fixing his hair to lay down as it should. He rolled his sleeves of his mustard yellow long sleeved shirt up to his elbows and made sure his shoes were tied as he had tripped out of his own department nearly and hour ago.

He raised a hand to the door, knocking with his index knuckle three short raps and let his hand fall down beside his side. He looked around the department wondering how Chloe was enjoying her day.

Shortly after JJ left, Chloe heard another knock on her office door, and as she scampered barefoot over, she wondered who it could be. It was a tall knock, so probably a man, but she couldn't guess who it might be. Turning the knob, she opened the door, her face breaking in to a VERY big smile, the smile that only he could bring to her face. It was all she could do to not squeal in excitement at the sight of him. "Come in! Come in!" she beckoned, gesturing for him to come inside.

Once he had crossed the threshold, she closed the door behind him and turned around to look at him. Walking over to Asher, she gave her fiance a really big hug.

Asher heard feet running across the floor towards the door and he sucked in his gut as the door opened. "Ah, so I've got the right office then? I thought you had started going by Mrs. Chloe Holden already, but I'm mistaken." he asked as he stepped in and looked around at her office. "It looks great." he paused. "Although I think you should've gone with...." he trailed off, "Sorry, the interior decorator came out of me again." He finished with a laugh as he wrapped his arms around Chloe in a big hug.

He untangled himself gently and began to move around the decent sized room looking at photos that he'd seen before, though some he hadn't. "Oh!" Asher said jumping a little at the knee. "I almost forgot!" He exclaimed as he reached into the back pocket of his faded blue jeans and retrieved a small photo. He tapped the photo once with his wand and it enlarged itself to a decent size.

"Ziva sent this with my letter I got a few hours ago." he held it out to Chloe for her to look at. "I assume that Kat had some fun with her right when she got down there, though her letter didn't say she didn't have fun or anything...that she actually enjoyed it down there. Which I'm happy." He rambled on.

Chloe laughed as Asher made some comment about going by his name already. "I wish I could be Mrs. Chloe Holden already!" she said smiling up at him warmly. As he examined the room and started to give her decorating tips, she raised her eye brows at him. "Don't get me started. I enjoy the dissonance of the sunshine and brightness by my desk, and this darker area where I can sit and relax," she said in a teasing tone. As he began examining the photos, Chloe took a seat on her red couch, curling her feet under her as she did so. When Asher handed something to her, she took a look at it and smiled. "Oh! Look how pretty she looks, all grown up!" she said smiling up at Asher. Chloe patted the couch next to her as he rambled on about Ziva, and Chloe just examined the picture. "I'm glad she's having a good time," she said a bit sadly.

Asher smiled, "Well, I thought you would start saying and writing it...you know to get the practice." He laughed. "Mrs. Chloe Holden, that has a good ring to it, doesn't it?" he asked as he walked across the room to sit on the red couch. He held his hands up, "It's all your space and you've earned it, you can do whatever you want." He smiled, he leaned forward resting his elbows on the tops of his knees and clasping his hands together.

"Oh, I know." Asher replied calmly nodding towards the picture, almost surprising himself at how well he was taking the fact that his little sister was growing p to be a young woman. "Me too." He grinned looking at his feet, noticing his shoelace was untied. He noticed the sadness tinted in her voice and looked up at her. "What's wrong darling?" he asked her softly and gentle.

Chloe gave him another warm smile and messed up his hair a bit. "Oh, don't you worry your pretty little head, Mr. Holden. I've got plenty of doodles over in my desk reading things like Mrs. Chloe Jayne Holden and Mrs. Holden and Mr. and Mrs. Asher Holden. I've even go so far as to practice signing my name," she said with a little laugh. "I just can't ask my employees to call me a title I've not been given yet," she said, scooting a bit closer to him on the couch.

When he asked her what was wrong, Chloe gave a small sigh and shook her head. "I just... wish she could have been here. And it's weird that she's so far away. Let's just hope that school in Greece has a lot fewer instances than Hogwarts has," she said laughing a little. "Is she coming home for Christmas, Asher?" she asked, looking up at him hopefully.

Blair walked up to Chloe's office and knocked softly onto the door. She wanted to say sorry for being gone for a weeks from her appendix brusting. She didn't know if she knew about it or not. "Sorry to brother you Miss.Everheart."She said softly.

Soooo Chloe was a Department Head...Coolness! She was an ambitious and hardworking woman after all so Ryan was not much surprised to hear about her promotion. Therefore it was mandatory for him to see the woman and congratulate her for the new position she had.

And to do that the blond man was walking in the 5th floor corridor looking around if he should spot someone he knew. Because there were two beautiful women he knew in this department and it would definintely be a weird and difficult experience to see them both there. A little bir hiding himself from the people that might walk in the corridor he made his way to the door of the department head. And was a blonde woman there eepp!

Phew! She was not Helena. ''Hi''he greeted that woman then in case the woman had not done it yet, he knocked on the door.

Chloe heard a knock on her door, but she was still waiting for Asher to answer her question. As a woman's voice she couldn't entirely place yet came floating through the door, she shifted a bit restlessly. She didn't like the idea of leaving this woman standing in the hallway. But she would for just a moment longer until she could say goodbye to Asher.

Then, however, came a second knock, and Chloe figured the woman must be growing impatient with her. Looking at Asher, she smiled and said, "Just a second." Before getting up and walking barefoot across her office floor and over to the door. Opening it, she was shocked to find not one, but two people waiting outside her office door. One an employee and the other her former division head. Smiling at them both, she stepped back from the door, gesturing for them to enter. "Please, come in both of you!"

Blair stood there and looked at the old division head."Hello."She said to him as she turned to Chloe. "I just wanted to say I'm sorry for being gone for the week I will have the paperwork done by the end of the day."She said sofly as she started biting her bottom lip.

As Chloe opened the door Ryan smiled at her widely. It was a good thing to know that she welcomed visitors since the man did not want another woman yell in his face or throw things at him.

He was about to step in the office yet, as a gentleman as he could be, he wailted for the other woman to step in at first place ''After you, dear lady'' he said softly and he walked in after she did. That woman apparently another 5th floor employee and once she had finished speaking Ryan cleared his throat.

''Hello, Ms Everhart. I..well..have come to congratulate you on your new position and...to see the details of your office''

After her two visitors had entered the office, she left the door opened, mostly because it seemed as though her employee wasn't here to chat for very long. Smiling at the woman kindly, she replied. "That's quite alright Ms. Kyle. These things happen, and I appreciate your promise of speedy work, but don't over-tax yourself. Next time you have to be absent, though, please send an owl to your division head and let them know," she finished. This woman was new, and Chloe wanted her to know that she cared, but that there were also certain procedures that needed to be followed. Putting a hand on the woman's shoulder, Chloe looked into her eyes kindly and said, "I'm glad you're back with us Ms. Kyle, and I hope your recovery continues to go well." After a few moments of a comforting silence, she removed her hand and said, "Now, is there anything else I can do for you while you're here in my office?" she asked.

And then she turned to Ryan as he spoke. "Why thank you, Mr. Chambers. And this is my office in all the details you wished to see. And that over there," she said, smiling as she pointed to the man who was still sitting on her red couch. "is my fiance, Asher Holden. Asher, this is Ryan Chambers. He was my Division Head in the Education Department," she explained politely.

"Well umm there is one thing I need to take other hour on my lunch. See I need to head to level 2. And find out if they found anything on my family sense they went missing a few years ago."She said looking at Chloe hopping that it was ok to do that. She didn't want to get introuble.

Chloe raised her eyebrows slightly as she considered the woman a moment. "Right, Miss Kyle, I assume by Level 2, you mean you'll be going to the Magical Law Enforcement Office? Have you spoken to someone on that level about this already? Are they expecting you? Because I can't allow my employees to just go barging into other departments demanding to use their services. If you do not have an appointment to speak with someone there, I suggest you send them an owl and set up a meeting first. They are very busy people," she explained. Somehow, she had a feeling that this woman had never spoken to someone in that department about this search for her missing family. She also wasn't sure how the Department Head would feel about the woman coming there and asking them to perform such a task as searching for her missing family.

"I'd like to have you know ma'am, that I fixed my hair just for you." He grinned with a chuckle, but it was all okay. Chloe was the only one who could mess his hair up, and it wasn't like it bothered him that much anyway, he just had a mutual disagreement with his hair that he had gotten over a little.

Ah, she has doodles on her desk! Asher smiled at her, happy to think once more that she was willing to put up with him and his crazy family for the rest of their lives. "I know I know." But I'm surprised that I haven't caught you saying it several times in a row at home." He chuckled jokingly.

Asher let out a sigh, "I know, I wish she was there too." He told her softly putting his closet hand on her hand and giving it a squeeze. "We can have a recreation of it when she comes home to visit." He told her with a faint smile appearing.

"Christmas?" He questioned, "She didn't say anything about the holidays yet, but I think she will. Christmas means a lot to her." He explained thinking back to the letter that he was going to share with Chloe that was...sitting on his study desk at home.

And then there were visitors! Asher jumped up just as quickly as Chloe sent to let them in. He straightened out his shirt, not wanting to look like a slob, not that he was, he was probably one of the cleanest men out there...because Maudi made sure he didn't become a slob....

Asher gave the man a half smile, not sure if he should say something...nice of course, or just not talk at all. So, he decided to opt for the just-not-talk-at-all option. He stood there listening and watching as Chloe dealt with her visitors.

As he observed the details of Chloe's office his blue eyes stopped on the other man when the newly boss woman introduced him as her fiance. Ah that was a cunning woman, was not she? This was she also secretly give the message 'Stay away from me'. Smiling inwardly at this, he faced the man and held out his hand for a nice handshake ''It is nice to meet you Mr Asher Holden.'' then he smiled at both Asher and Chloe ''Looks like we have another lucky man within the borders of our British Ministry of Magic''

Then with a light nod he focused his attention on Blair when she mentioned asking help for her missing family. As far as he was concerned the MLES did not perform private investigations yet Ryan did. Therefor he gave the woman a meaningful look and whispered in her ear ''We can talk about this outside. If you'd like to, of course''

Leo had been saddened by the transfer of Miss Everhart, BUT he was very happy for her success, ofcourse! Hands in pockets, he casually walked over to the office door, looking around and seeing the cubicles of the employees. Huh, they had it nice in here!

Finally by the door, he raised his hand and knocked on the door.
